Sam was bored. To the extent that he had actually decided to clean out his garage. He managed to find an old boombox  and within minutes he had forgotten about the garage and was fiddling with the back of the boombox to get it working. He grabbed his tools from the truck and sat on the floor like a kid playing with a science kit. Within minutes the static sound started to flow out the old stereo. “Awesome now lets see what I can pick up.” He fiddled with the station changer and after getting some bible verses, a Bollywood song and then baby shark, Sam managed to find a station that played eighties music. He began to dance around his lawn in the warm sunlight then put the boombox on his shoulder like a true eighties kid “Guns and Rises are the bomb.” He shouted happily and then turned to see someone walking past. “ Checkout what I found in my garage.”He called out, still dancing. “ How awesome is this?”

Victoria had just been out for a morning stroll on a day off. Despite calling Atlanta “home” for more than five years, living in an apartment meant she never really went out of her way to meet her neighbours in the other buildings. So when a stranger started yelling at her from across the street, she was just a little startled. The small spook-ish sensation completely melted away as the 80s rock hit her ears. “I love this song!” she yelled from the sidewalk. Taking a step closer, curiosity twitching at all of her features, she continued to cry “Is that a boombox? Where did you find that?!?”

The redhead was losing inspiration for her work and needed a distraction today. There was only so many clients she could manage without some fun in between, before her creativity faded. That was the great thing about working freelance, she could just do the work when she felt like it, so long as she actually got it done. Sara had tried jobs with set hours before, but it hadn’t suited her one bit. 

“Well, you’re lucky that I’m a fellow redhead, and I have an impeccable eye for colour.” She may have been coming off a little ego-centric, but she didn’t notice. “A bright baby blue or turquoise would really pop, as would a lime green. Yellow is also nice, but be careful with the tone, because it could end up looking too fall or too spring which is NOT what a summer shade should be.”

Hillie had been avoiding this all school year but she knew she could no longer avoid the PTA and the volunteering they forced parents do every year. Since the school year was ending pretty soon though she knew she couldn’t put it off any longer. It was either work the bake sale or volunteer for the annual field trip to the zoo. This seems a lot easier. Sitting at the cupcake booth, she forced a smile. This was boring as hell. At least they didn’t make her bake the cupcakes this year. “So they’re a dollar per cupcake or three for $2.75,” She explained. @atlanta-rpgstarters​

“So then is it 33 for a dozen? Or do you have any special deals?” Victoria questioned, eyes bright. She loved cupcakes. She loved supporting the community. She also was very impressed with the sprinkle ratio from what she could see. Ah yes, good cupcakes indeed.

“And you,” Victoria paused, looking up from her phone. The quip had died on her tongue. She’d ended up behind him in line, and hadn’t even really been attuned to his illness, too wrapped up in the latest celebrity gossip on Instagram (she did have to keep up with Kardashians, after all.). But looking at him now, taking a quick step back, it became increasingly apparent that the last thing he needed was a slightly indignant zinger from a stranger.  “...look like you could really use a tissue.” she dug in her purse, not finding one, but offering an awkward chuckle and a “cough drop?”

Living a whole new life was a lot easier than Tony would have thought and he was kind of enjoying it. No issues from the past, no people from his past, he could start fresh and be another person. A good person. However, personality doesn’t change in a person even if they change everything else about them. “Damn.” He mumbled, checking a girl out as she walked by and then his eyes moved to another person. “What? I didn’t say it out loud to her and risk her being offended but I can’t help that her ass was sculpted by God.” @atlanta-rpgstarters​

Victoria pouted “Look, buddy, I don’t know, but if you really think her ass is so divine,” she rolled her eyes, “Why didn’t you just tell her so? If you’re going to objectify a person why not do it to their face? A lot use mumbling about an ass will do.”
