Y/N sat on the park bench, her gaze following her five-year-old son, Noah, as he dashed across the playground with what seemed like an unlimited amount of energy. Noah was having a great time and Lando, who had become an integral part of their lives, was there to share this moment with them.
Lando was sitting casually next to Y/N, an arm wrapped around her shoulders and his eyes fixed on the boy. He had always been great with kids and it was clear Noah had taken an immediate liking to him, much to his relief. His and Y/Nâs relationship was still relatively new but it was evident that he cared deeply for both her and Noah and they were slowly finding their rhythm together as both a couple and - dare I say it - a little family.
As Y/N watched Noah play, she couldnât help but think how happy she was with Lando and how different the relationship was compared to Noahâs father - not just for her but for her son as well. There was only one other man Noah has had in his short life so far. She thought back to a time when Noah was almost three years old, when she had a brief relationship with a man named Will. The relationship had ended amicably when Will moved away for a job and Y/N had made the decision to stay in their current home for Noahâs sake, not wanting to rip him out of the familiarity of the city and his friends. She hadnât anticipated running into Will today, especially not here, at this park.
From across the playground she spotted a familiar figure walking towards them. Her heart skipped a beat. Will was unmistakable with his casual stroll and the familiar look she hadnât seen in years. She glanced over at Lando, noting his relaxed posture as he still just looked at Noah, not sensing what was about to happen.
Noah, who had been climbing the jungle gym, spotted Will immediately. His face lit up with recognition and excitement. âWill!â he called out, his voice filled with pure joy as he scrambled down from the equipment and ran towards the man.
Y/Nâs breath caught in her throat. She got up and approached the quickly, trying to keep her composure as she watched Will kneel down, arms open wide. There was a warmth and familiarity between them and Noahâs enthusiastic response only made the moment more poignant.
âHey there, bud,â Will greeted, lifting Noah into his arms. The affection was evident and Noah wrapped his small arms around Will, looking utterly delighted.
Lando, who had been watching the interaction from a distance, suddenly stiffened. His eyes narrowed slightly as he took in the scene. He had never felt such a sharp pang of jealousy before but seeing Noah so happily embraced by another man - someone who wasnât him! - triggered a feeling he hadnât anticipated.Â
Y/Nâs heart was racing as she tried to keep the situation under control. âHi,â she said, trying to sound casual despite the nerves in her voice.
Her ex-boyfriend looked up, surprise flashing across his face. âOh, hey Y/N. Didnât expect to run into you two here. Just visiting some old friends.â
âHi, Iâm Lando. Nice to meet you,â Lando approached, his smile strained but polite as he not so subtly pushed himself into the conversation.Â
The two men shook hands and Landoâs grip was firm, almost possessive. He forced himself to maintain a friendly demeanor but his eyes betrayed his emotions. Yeah, nice to meet you, who are you anyway?!
Her ex-boyfriend, seemingly oblivious to the tension, continued chatting. âNo need for introductions,â he said with a casual wave. âI know how it is. Just came by to see how everyoneâs doing.â
Just came by, huh? Lando thought. Must be nice to stroll in and out of peopleâs lives like a guest star on a show.
Will and Noah continued to chat and Landoâs gaze remained fixed on them. He could barely concentrate on the small talk happening around him. Every laugh and affectionate gesture between Will and Noah felt like a jab to his heart. Seriously, Lando, get it together. Itâs just a guy from the past, not some long-lost relative coming to claim his spot.
The conversation continued but Landoâs focus was solely on Noah. The sight of the boy so content and animated with Will was a reminder of what he feared most: being an outsider in Noahâs life.Â
When Will finally said his goodbyes, Landoâs jaw was set tight. He looked at Y/N, trying to steady his emotions. âDidnât think it would be so... hard,â he admitted, his voice betraying the struggle he felt inside.
Y/N placed a comforting hand on his arm. âIâm sorry. I didnât know this would happen today. I should have warned you.â
Landoâs eyes were troubled as he met her gaze. Itâs not just about being warned. Itâs seeing Noah so happy with someone from his past, it makes me question where I fit into all of this. Am I just the ânew guyâ in his life?Â
âYouâre a huge part of his life, Lando,â Y/NÂ said after clearly seeing the struggle in Landoâs eyes. âHe loves you and heâs happy with you. I know itâs tough but youâre his family now.â
Landoâs expression softened slightly but the jealousy lingered. He glanced back at Noah, who had returned to playing as if nothing out of the ordinary had just happened. Alright, focus. Heâs smiling. Heâs happy. Thatâs what matters.Â
Y/N took a deep breath, her gaze steady and supportive. âYou stand in a very important place, Lando. Noah adores you. Itâs okay to feel what youâre feeling. Weâre all navigating this together.â
âI know,â Lando nodded, trying to push away the lingering feelings of jealousy, âI just need to come to terms with it.â
They both watched as Noah continued to play, his laughter mingling with the sounds of the park. The encounter had stirred up emotions Lando hadnât expected but it also reminded him of the importance of his role in Noahâs life. Y/N squeezed Landoâs hand and softly guided him back to the playground. Landoâs gaze softened when he looked at her and then to Noah. Despite the unexpected surge of jealousy he was determined to be the best partner and father figure he could be.

It was the morning of his and Y/Nâs first wedding anniversary Lando had been planning for months. The sun was just beginning to pop up over the city as Lando tiptoed around the house, careful not to wake his family. He had a full day of surprises planned for Y/N and the first step was to make sure everything was perfect.
Lando had already arranged for a beautiful bouquet of Y/Nâs favorite flowers to be delivered to their home. He had set up a breakfast table with fresh pastries, fruit and coffee and he was preparing to make her a special breakfast in bed. But first, he needed to handle a crucial detail: ensuring their children were in good hands for the day.
He picked up his phone and dialed Max Verstappenâs number. âHey, Max,â Lando said when Max picked up. âI hope Iâm not interrupting your morning.â
âNot at all,â Max replied, his voice cheerful. âWhatâs up?â
âAre you and Kelly still free to babysit Maebry and Noah today?â
âOf course, weâre on our way shortly and Penelope is actually pretty excited to have some friends to play with for the day.â
With the babysitting arrangement confirmed Lando turned his attention back to the dayâs surprises. He had arranged a luxurious spa day for Y/N, followed by a romantic dinner at their favorite restaurant. In between he planned a scenic drive to a secluded spot where they could enjoy a quiet picnic.
While Lando busied himself with last-minute preparations Max and Kelly arrived at the Norris home with five-year-old Penelope, greeted by a cheerful Noah, who was excited to spend time with them today and a curious Maebry, who was still adjusting to the new faces.
âHey there, little ones,â Kelly said, picking up the little girl from Landoâs arms. âAre you ready for a fun day with us?â
Penelopeâs eyes sparkled. âMom said weâre gonna go to the zoo today,â she told the boy and Noah jumped up excitedly. âThat sounds like so much fun!â
A few minutes later he gently placed the tray with the breakfast next to Y/Nâs side of the bed and gently shook her awake with a soft kiss on the forehead.
âGood morning, beautiful. Happy anniversary,â he whispered.
Y/N stretched, blinking sleepily and then her eyes fell on the breakfast tray. Her face lit up with surprise but she was also visibly excited. âLando, thank you so much!â
They enjoyed a lazy breakfast together, laughing and talking about their favorite moments from their time together. After breakfast he handed her a beautifully wrapped gift.
âThis isnât just any gift,â he said with a grin. âIâve been keeping it a secret for months.â
Y/N unwrapped the present to reveal a delicate locket with two compartments - one for a picture of Maebry and one for a picture of Noah.
âItâs beautiful, Lando. Thank you.â
âI thought it might be a nice way to keep our little ones close to your heart, even when theyâre not with us.â
They shared a few more quiet moments together but eventually decided to go and get ready for their day out. Lando had booked a luxurious spa experience, knowing that Y/N deserved some pampering. When they arrived they were greeted by a team of professionals ready to make their day as relaxing as possible.
As they settled into their robes and slippers, Y/N looked at Lando âYou really went all out, I canât believe how thoughtful youâve been.â
âYou deserve it,â Lando chuckled, squeezing her hand. âAnd besides, itâs our special day. I want it to be perfect.â
The couple enjoyed a series of treatments - a relaxing massage, a refreshing facial and a soak in a cozy hot tub. They spent the day unwinding and reconnecting, enjoying each otherâs company without any interruptions and - for once - without kids.
After the spa Lando drove them to a scenic location he had discovered, a secluded park with breathtaking views of the city. The spot was a hidden gem, surrounded by lush greenery. They watched the clouds drift lazily across the sky and Lando took the opportunity to recount some of their favorite memories from their relationship.
âYou remember the time we went on that spontaneous road trip?â Lando asked with a grin. âWe got lost but ended up finding that little diner with the best pancakes weâve ever had.â
Y/N laughed, nodding. âHow could I forget? We were covered in syrup and laughing the whole time.â
âI canât believe how lucky I am to have you in my life,â Lando said softly, wrapping his arms around her.
As the evening approached Lando and Y/N arrived at the restaurant, a charming, intimate spot that had become one of their favorites over time. The restaurant was nestled in a quiet part of the city, overlooking the bay. When they walked in, the maĂŽtre dâ greeted them with a warm smile. âGood evening, Mr. and Mrs. Norris. Weâre delighted to have you here for your special occasion.â
Lando returned the smile, taking Y/Nâs hand as they were led to their reserved table. Lando pulled out Y/Nâs chair and she settled in with a content sigh. âThis is perfect, Lando,â she said, looking out into the water. âYouâve really outdone yourself.â
He grinned, pleased with her reaction. âIâm glad you think so. I wanted everything to be just right for you.â
Finally, after an array of delicious appetizers and a main course that was to die for, it was time for dessert. The restaurantâs pastry chef had prepared a special anniversary cake - an indulgent, layered chocolate cake with a rich ganache and a delicate raspberry coulis. The cake was adorned with edible gold leaf and fresh berries, making it a true centerpiece. The message âHappy Anniversaryâ was elegantly scripted in chocolate on the plate.
As they dug into the decadent dessert, Lando raised his glass for a toast. âTo us and to many more years of love and happiness. You make every single day better and Iâm so grateful to have you by my side.â
Y/Nâs eyes sparkled as she clinked her glass with his. âTo us,â she agreed. âThank you for making this day so unforgettable. I love you more than words can express.â

Lando Norris was used to the sound of engines, the smell of burnt rubber and the constant buzz of a big crowd. It was his world - where every second counted and every decision could make or break a race. But today, as he watched his children from the sidelines of a small suburban playground, he found himself feeling a different kind of pressure.
The playground was busy but Landoâs focus was solely on his family. His wife, Y/N, was sitting on a bench, surrounded by a pile of snacks, water bottles and an assortment of toys that seemed to appear out of thin air. Lando admired her effortless ability to manage it all while he was away.
Noah was up on the monkey bars, trying to swing across. He was determined but clearly struggling. Lando approached, ready to help, but Noah looked at him with frustration in his eyes.
âDad, I canât do it,â Noah said, a hint of tears in his eyes. âCan you get Mom?â
Lando was taken aback. âWhy do you want Mom? I can help you.â
Noah shook his head. âMom knows how to do it.â
Lando watched as Noah scrambled down and ran to Y/N, who was effortlessly juggling Maebryâs requests for juice and snacks. When Noah reached her Y/N immediately stood up, smoothing her skirt and walking over to the monkey bars. With a few gentle words and a bit of guidance she had Noah back up and swinging in no time.
Landoâs heart sank a little. He was glad Y/N was there to support their children but he couldnât shake the feeling that he was missing out on something important. This was the kind of moment he should be part of, yet here he was, a spectator in his own familyâs life.
A few weeks later the Norris family had decided to spend it baking in their cozy kitchen. Lando had been looking forward to this family activity. It was one of those rare moments when he was home and he wanted to make it special for Noah and Maebry.
Y/N had set up the kitchen with ingredients for baking cookies. Flour dusted the counters and the sweet scent of vanilla and sugar was in the air. Noah and Maebry were both excited and Lando was ready to dive into the fun, wearing a flour-dusted apron that he thought made him look like a pro.
The cookie dough was mixed and it was time to roll it out and cut it into shapes. Lando, eager to contribute, took over the rolling pin, showing off his technique with exaggerated flourishes. Maebry, sitting in her little chair, clapped excitedly and Noah cheered his dad on and soon the two men of the house were ready for the most important part. But as they began cutting out the cookie shapes Noah ran into trouble. The dough kept sticking to the cookie cutter, causing his shapes to come out misshapen.
Lando tried to help, adjusting the dough and demonstrating how to properly cut out the shapes but no matter what he did Noahâs frustration only seemed to grow. His little face turned red and he let out a sigh of exasperation.
âDad, itâs not working,â Noah said, his voice tinged with irritation. âCan we get Mom?â
Lando paused, surprised and a bit hurt. He glanced over at Y/N, who was busy arranging the cookie trays and managing Maebryâs attempts to âhelpâ by sprinkling flour everywhere.
Y/N looked up from her task and saw Noahâs distress. With a smile that was both soothing and encouraging she walked over to her son. âWhat's the problem, sweetie?â
Noah explained his trouble with the dough and Y/N took the cutter from him with a calmness that Lando admired. With a few quick adjustments she demonstrated how to properly flour the cutter and gently press it into the dough. She guided Noahâs hands through the process a few times and soon his cookie shapes were coming out perfectly.
Lando stood back, feeling a bit disappointed. He had wanted to be the one to solve the problem, to show his kids that he could handle the situation. Instead it was Y/N who swooped in and made everything right.
Later that night, as Lando and Y/N lay in bed, he couldnât help but bring it up. âYou know, Iâve been thinkingâŚâ
Y/N turned to face him, her expression soft and concerned. âWhatâs on your mind?â
âItâs about Noah and Maebry,â he began hesitantly. âI noticed that they always seem to turn to you for everything. I feel like Iâm missing out on being a real part of their lives.â
Y/Nâs eyes softened. âItâs not that they donât want you, itâs just that theyâre used to me being here all the time. Youâre gone so much and I guess theyâve learned to rely on me more.â
Lando nodded, understanding what she was saying but he was still a bit sad. âI donât want to be just a visitor in their lives. I want to be the dad they can count on.â
âYou are a great dad, Lando,â Y/N reached out and took his hand. âThe time you do spend with them is incredibly special. Maybe we can find ways to balance things better. When youâre home we can make it more intentional. Spend quality time with them, do things together and gradually theyâll start seeing you as their go-to too.â
âIâd like that. I want to make the most of the time I have with them.â
Over the next few weeks Lando made a conscious effort to be more present during his time at home and have as many of his meetings in Monaco so he could spend more time with his family. He took on more of the daily routines, like bedtime stories and weekend activities. He started to actively engage in their interests, from playing more with Noah to taking care of Maebry. Slowly, he noticed a shift. His children began to turn to him more, not just for fun but for support and guidance as well.
One morning when they all were at the park Noah fell off his bike and scraped his knee. Without hesitation Noah reached out for Lando, his small hand seeking comfort.
âDad, can you help me?â Noah asked, his voice trembling slightly.
Lando crouched beside him, examining the scrape and offering a comforting smile. âOf course, buddy. Letâs get you patched up.â
As he gently cleaned the scrape and bandaged it he realized how much this moment meant to him. It was a small moment but it felt like a big step towards becoming the kind of father he wanted to be. He looked up at Y/N, who was watching with a proud smile and knew that while he might be gone often, the love and effort he put into their time together would make all the difference.

On this special day the Norris family backyard was transformed into a fairytale wonderland. The air was filled with the scent of blooming flowers and the sound of joyful laughter as Lando and Y/N prepared for a celebration that would mark their daughter Maebryâs very first birthday. Their chosen theme, âOne-ce Upon a Time,â promised to be a magical day and they had spared no costs in bringing their vision to life.
Lando was the epitome of Prince Charming in an outfit that looked like it had been plucked from a storybook. His ensemble featured a dazzling jacket with golden embroidery, a crisp white shirt and a smile that seemed to outshine everything. He moved with pride, his heart swelling each time he glanced at his little princess.
Y/N, ever the elegant queen, was dressed in a flowing pastel gown that shimmered with every step she took. The gown was adorned with delicate embroidery of magical creatures and enchanted forests and her crown of flowers added a touch of fairytale magic. She floated through the garden, her eyes twinkling with happiness as she greeted guests and ensured that everything was perfect for their daughter.
Maebry, the star of the day, was a vision of cuteness in her stunning gown of layered yellow tulle and blue ribbons, resembling her favorite Disney princess: Snow White. Her head was topped off with a giant red bow that made her look every bit the princess she was wanting to be. Her tiny red shoes twinkled with each step she took and her face was a picture of wonder as she explored her âOne-ce Upon a Timeâ world.
Noah was dressed as a brave knight, his silver armor shining in the sun. He had a toy sword strapped to his side and his little chest puffed with pride as he took his role as protector of his baby sister very seriously. He was the guardian of the day, always nearby to defend Maebry from any imaginary dragons or mischievous trolls that might dare to disrupt the celebration.
The garden buzzed with excitement as guests arrived to experience the fairytale wonderland. There was a âRoyal Tea Partyâ corner where children and adults alike could enjoy tiny pastries and sip from small teacups. A âPrince and Princessâ dress-up area especially made the little ones happy, they were able to pick crowns and capes to join the royal festivities. Nearby, a âStorybook Readingâ nook featured comfy cushions and enchanting tales read by Y/Nâs close friends, adding an extra touch of magic to the day.
Landoâs parents, who had traveled to Monaco from Bristol to celebrate their granddaughterâs special day, were absolutely besotted with Maebry. Cisca had been knitting a blanket for Maebry since before she was born. Today she was thrilled to finally present it to her granddaughter, her eyes brimming with tears of joy.
âLook at this beautiful girl,â Cisca cooed as she wrapped the soft blanket around Maebry. âIâve been working on this for so long and itâs finally here. You truly are our little princess, darling.â
Maebry giggled as she felt the softness of the blanket, reaching out to touch her grandmotherâs face. Landoâs father Adam, with a proud grin, showed off pictures of Maebry to the other guests. âHave you seen these? Sheâs grown so much since the last time we saw her. And just look at her in that gown!â
A group of Landoâs Formula 1 friends arrived, among them Max Verstappen with his girlfriend Kelly and daughter Penelope, Carlos Sainz, Daniel Ricciardo and also Charles Leclerc who immediately started gushing over Maebry.
âWow, Lando, sheâs absolutely adorable,â Charles said as he crouched down to Maebryâs level. âAre you sure sheâs only one? Sheâs already got her own fan club.â
Maebryâs giggles grew louder as Charles made playful faces and he gently lifted her into his arms, rocking her back and forth. âThis little princess is stealing all our hearts today.â
Oscar Piastri, Landoâs teammate, also made a grand entrance and immediately made a beeline for the âPrince and Princessâ dress-up area, where he enthusiastically took a toy crown and cape, playfully pretending to be a prince alongside Maebry.
âLook at me, Iâm the prince of this land,â Oscar declared with a grin, playfully spinning around. âAnd Iâve got the best little princess by my side!â
Lando, watching the interaction with a smile, was surprised at first. Oscar was usually more of a quiet type but everytime he was around Maebry he turned into the fun uncle instantly.Â
âThanks for coming, everyone,â Lando said eventually to the other drivers, âit means a lot to us that youâre here to share this day with us. Maebryâs been looking forward to celebrating with all of you.â
Charles waved a hand dismissively. âItâs our pleasure! We wouldnât miss it for the world. And you know, sheâs already got us all wrapped around her little finger.â
âAbsolutely,â Oscar added, adjusting his crown, âsheâs the real star of the show. I think we might have to make her our teamâs official mascot!â
Maebryâs birthday party was in full swing and one guest was extra excited. Max Fewtrell, Landoâs best friend and Maebryâs godfather, had been eagerly waiting for the perfect moment to present his special gift. Dressed in a perfect Flynn Ryder outfit Max smiled as he approached Lando and Y/N, who was holding Maebry.
âHey, guys,â Max called out, catching Landoâs eye. âCan I borrow Maebry for a moment?â
Y/N, not hesitating at all, gently handed Maebry over to him. âOf course, sheâs been looking forward to seeing her favorite uncle.â
Max cradled Maebry in his arms, his face lighting up and everyone could see how much he adored her. âIâve got something really special for you, little one,â he directed at the girl just as he was sitting down at a table. âItâs not every day you turn one, after all.â
He reached into a large, pink gift bag and carefully pulled out a beautifully crafted storybook. The book was bound in rich, deep blue leather with gold lettering on the cover that read, âMaebryâs Magical Adventures.â It featured illustrations of mythical creatures, enchanted forests and twinkling stars.
âLook at this,â Max said, showing the book to Maebry as she gazed up at him with wide, curious eyes. âI had this made just for you.â
Max opened the book to reveal its contents, which were not only filled with personalized stories but also featured memories of Max and Maebry together. The first few pages contained charming tales of a brave little princess who looked remarkably like Maebry, embarking on magical quests and discovering new lands. Each story was accompanied by illustrations that included subtle nods to special moments Max and Maebry had shared so far, like their first meeting or a day spent playing in the park.
On the final page was a special dedication from Max, written in elegant script:
To Maebry, my dearest goddaughter,
May this book be the start of many magical adventures. Whenever you open it, remember that you are loved beyond measure and that there is always a world of wonder waiting for you. With all my love,
Max
Maxâs voice softened as he continued, âI thought this would be a great way for you to have a little piece of magic with you every night as you grow up. And when youâre older you can read the stories together with your parents. Itâll be a special keepsake from your first birthday.â
Maebryâs eyes widened in delight as she traced the gold lettering on the cover. Lando and Y/N watched and Y/N couldnât hold back the tears from forming in her eyes. âThatâs an amazing gift, Max,â Lando said. âYouâve really outdone yourself.â
Max looked up at his best friend, his eyes shining with sincerity. âSheâs my goddaughter, after all. I want her to have something magical to remember this day by and something she can cherish as she grows up. Iâve been showering her with gifts and little surprises since she was born and Iâm not going to stop, ever, but I wanted this to be extra special.â
Y/N reached out and gave Max a heartfelt hug. âThank you, Max. Itâs perfect. Maebry will treasure it forever.â
Max carefully placed the book into Y/Nâs hands and she held it close to Maebry. âI hope you love it as much as I loved picking it out for you,â he said softly, giving the girl a loving kiss on her cheek.
Maebry clapped her hands with joy, her eyes sparkling as she gazed at her new book but soon Max whisked her away to rejoin the birthday activities.
As the sun began to set Lando and Y/N took a moment to themselves. They watched as Maebry played with the other kids, her eyes sparkling with happiness. Landoâs gaze, however, was not just filled with pride, it was also tinged with just a touch of sadness.
âItâs hard to believe my little princess is already one,â Lando said softly. âIt feels like just yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital. Watching her grow up so fast⌠itâs both wonderful and a little heartbreaking.â
Y/N noticed the look in Landoâs eyes and gently took his hand. âI know,â she said, her voice soothing. âItâs incredible how quickly time passes. But look at her now, sheâs so happy, surrounded by people who love her. Weâve made so many beautiful memories already and there are so many more to come.â
Lando nodded, his gaze returning to his daughter as she giggled. âYouâre right. Today has been perfect and Iâm so proud of her. I just wish time didnât move so quickly.â
âWe canât stop time but we can cherish every moment,â Y/N smiled, resting her head on his shoulder.

Y/N sat by the window, watching as the world outside went about its usual business, feeling uneasy and anxious. The difference in age between her and Lando was something she had always been conscious of but recently it had started to gnaw at her more insistently.
Lando Norris was vibrant, full of life and only in his mid-twenties, while Y/N was in her early thirties. It had never seemed like a big deal before but lately she had started to worry. The thought that Lando might want to be with someone closer to his own age, someone who could share his youthful energy and ambitions or was up to party until the early morning hours, had begun to plague her mind.
One evening while they relaxed on the couch together, Lando reached out to take her hand. He noticed the distant look in her eyes, the way she seemed lost in her thoughts. He had sensed her growing distress and wanted to address it before it became a bigger issue.
âY/N,â Lando began softly, his eyes full of concern, âIâve been feeling like somethingâs been bothering you lately. I just want you to know that I love you so much. More than anything. Iâm not just saying that, I mean it.â
Y/N looked at him, her heart aching. âI know you say that but sometimes I wonder if you really mean it. I worry that maybe youâre settling for me.â
Landoâs face grew serious and he gently squeezed her hand. âIâm not settling. Iâm with you because youâre everything to me.â
She could see the sincerity in his eyes and it warmed her heart but her insecurities still lingered. âI just donât want you to feel like youâre missing out on something because of me. Especially now that you're growing more popular, you could have so many other, younger girlfriends.â
âYouâre not holding me back,â Lando said firmly. âIf I thought for a second that being with you wasnât right Iâd tell you but thatâs not the case. Youâre my partner, my love and I wouldnât want to be with anyone else.â
Despite his reassurances Y/N found it hard to shake off her fears. As the days went by she became more preoccupied with the idea that maybe Lando would be happier with someone closer to his own age. She felt a growing distance between them, a distance that she couldnât explain but also couldnât ignore.
One evening she couldn't handle the overwhelming feeling anymore and she decided to talk to Max, Landoâs longtime best friend and the person who knew him best. Max had always been a voice of reason and she hoped he could provide some clarity.
Y/N sat across from Max in the cozy corner of her favorite cafĂŠ, her coffee cooling as she fidgeted with the edge of her napkin. The conversation had shifted from their initial casual chat to something more unsettling.
âIâve been thinking,â Y/N said quietly, her voice barely above a whisper. âMaybe itâs better if I leave Lando.â
Maxâs brow furrowed in concern. âWhat do you mean? Why would you say that?â
âItâs just⌠I canât shake the feeling that Iâm holding him back,â Y/N explained, her eyes reflecting the turmoil inside her. âHeâs so young and full of life. I see him growing more popular and I worry that heâs missing out on experiences he could have with someone closer to his own age.â
Max took a sip of his coffee, his gaze steady on Y/N. âBut Landoâs made it clear that he loves you and heâs with you because he wants to be. Have you talked to him about this?â
âI have,â Y/N admitted. âAnd he says he loves me and doesnât want to be with anyone else but I canât help but feel like heâs saying that to not hurt my feelings. If Iâm being honest, thereâs a part of me that thinks he might be happier with someone whoâs more on his wavelength, someone who can share his lifestyle without these doubts.â
Max leaned forward, his expression serious. âY/N, love isnât just about shared experiences or age. Itâs about how you connect, how you support each other. From everything Iâve seen, Lando values you deeply. Heâs not the type to stay in a relationship just out of convenience or because he feels like he should.â
âI know,â Y/N said, her voice trembling. âBut itâs not just about what he wants. I keep thinking about whatâs best for him. Maybe Iâm not the best person for him and maybe it would be better if we both moved on. He deserves someone who isnât plagued by insecurities and doubts.â
Max sighed, shaking his head. âLook, I understand where youâre coming from. But you have to ask yourself why youâre so willing to give up on something thatâs important to both of you. Sometimes, the hardest part of a relationship isnât the age difference or the external factors, itâs facing the insecurities and challenges.â
âItâs just so hard, Max,â Y/Nâs eyes filled with tears again as she spoke, âI love him so much, but I donât want to be the cause of his unhappiness.â
Max reached across the table, placing a reassuring hand on hers. âIt sounds like youâre trying to protect him, but youâre also underestimating the strength of your relationship. If Lando has reassured you that heâs committed to you, then you need to trust that. If you really believe in your relationship, then you should be willing to fight for it, not just walk away because of fear.â
Y/N nodded slowly, her mind racing, but she still wasnât convinced.
________
Max and Lando were hanging out at Maxâs place, having a rare moment to unwind after a hectic week. Lando was in high spirits but Max had something on his mind that he needed to address.
âHey, Lando,â Max began casually, âI had a chat with Y/N recently.â
Lando looked up, his interest piqued. âOh? Howâs she doing?â
âSheâs been struggling with some doubts about your relationship,â Max said carefully. âShe mentioned feeling like maybe it would be better if she stepped away. Sheâs worried sheâs holding you back because of the age difference.â
Landoâs face clouded with concern. âShe said that? I thought we were getting through it.â
Max nodded. âYeah, sheâs been feeling insecure. She loves you a lot, but sheâs been thinking she might not be whatâs best for you.â
Landoâs expression softened with frustration and worry. âIâve told her over and over that Iâm with her because I want to be. The age difference isnât an issue for me. I just wish she could see that.â
âI told her the same thing,â Max said. âBut you know how these things are, sometimes itâs hard for her to believe it, even when itâs coming from you.â
âI need to talk to her again,â Lando sighed, running a hand through his hair. âI want to make sure she knows how serious I am about this. If sheâs feeling this way, itâs clearly affecting her more than I realized.â
Max gave a supportive nod. âYeah, you should have another conversation. Let her know how much she means to you and that youâre not looking for anyone else. It might help her feel more secure.â
âI will,â Lando said firmly. âThanks for letting me know. I just want to fix this before it gets any worse.â
âNo problem,â Max replied. âIâm here if you need anything. Just remember, communication is key. Show her that youâre in this for the long haul.â
________
When Lando came home from training the next day he decided it was time to chat with her. âY/N,â he approached her, âwe need to talk.â
âWhatâs up?â
âY/N, I know what you said to Max, he told me and before you blame him for saying anything, I am so glad he did, because now I can address this with you before you make any stupid decisions,â Lando said and he saw the anxiety creep up into her eyes. âPlease, talk to me Y/N, whatâs going on?â
Y/N took a deep breath, her eyes meeting his with vulnerability. âIâve been worried about our relationship. About the age difference. I keep thinking that maybe youâd be happier with someone closer to your age. I donât want to hold you back or make you feel like youâre missing out. I know I've said it before but I'm really struggling with these thoughts and I can't stop thinking about it.â
Landoâs expression softened immediately. He stepped closer and took her hands in his. âY/N, it hurts me so much to see you like this. I need you to listen to me, really listen, and I need you to know that Iâm not thinking about being with anyone else. Iâm with you because I love you. The age difference doesnât change that, it doesnât change how I feel about you. I love you for who you are and I don't care how many years we have between usâ
Tears welled up in Y/Nâs eyes as she listened to him, the weight of her fears beginning to lift. âBut what if youâre just saying that because you donât want to hurt me?â
âNo,â Lando said firmly, his gaze steady and sincere. âIâm telling you the truth. Iâm with you because I want to be. Youâre not holding me back, youâre making me better and my life better. You're my everything. Iâm not looking for someone else or a different kind of relationship. Iâm here because I love you.â
Y/Nâs heart ached with relief as she threw her arms around him, tears streaming down her face. âI love you so much,â she whispered.
âI love you too,â Lando replied, his voice thick with emotion. âAnd I want us to work through this together. And we will.â

Lando Norris had always been a whirlwind of energy and charisma. The grandstands were packed, the pit lane was buzzing with excitement and among the crowd of fans and VIPs one particular girl had made it clear she was interested. Her flirty glances and lingering touches were hard to miss and though Lando remained polite and professional it was clear she had her sights set on him.
Y/N was accustomed to the occasional flirtation directed at her husband. She had always managed to brush them off with grace, knowing Landoâs loyalty was with her. But this time was different. The VIP girlâs blatant attempts were hard to ignore and Landoâs seemingly indifferent response stung more than she cared to admit.
The day of the race was a blur of adrenaline. Lando was focused on his performance, giving it his all on the track. Y/N, as usual, cheered him on with pride from the garage but her heart was heavy. The way the VIP girl leaned in close during the pre-race interviews and whispered things into Landoâs ear made her insides churn.
After the race, which Lando had won with a spectacular finish, the celebrations were in full swing. The atmosphere was electric and filled with laughter and cheers. Landoâs face was lit up with triumph but Y/N found it difficult to match his emotions. She felt overshadowed by the constant presence of the VIP girl and her blatant flirtation. When Lando glanced over and gave her a smile that should have melted her heart, she merely nodded, her expression guarded.
When they made their way through the post-race festivities Landoâs attention was divided. He tried to engage with Y/N, wrapping an arm around her waist and whispering sweet nothings into her ear but she was distant, her responses brief and clipped. It wasnât that she didnât appreciate his affection, she was just consumed by a simmering frustration that she couldnât seem to shake off.
The evening came to an end and they headed back to their hotel. The luxurious suite that had been their sanctuary now felt cold and unwelcoming. Y/N felt the weight of her frustrations pressing down on her and her silence seemed to amplify the tension between them.
Once they were inside their room Lando tried to break the silence. He took off his clothes and after a quick shower joined Y/N on the plush sofa. She sat with her back to him, staring out the window at the city lights. The sight was beautiful but it did nothing to lift her mood.
âHey, Iâve been trying to get a feeling of whatâs going on with you,â Lando said gently, his voice breaking through the quiet. âYouâve been so distant today. Is it something I did, orâŚ?â
Y/N turned slowly to face him, her eyes reflecting the hurt she felt. âItâs not just one thing, itâs the way you let that VIP girl get so close. I felt like you didnât even notice how uncomfortable it made me and when you didnât do anything to push her away, it felt like you didnât care.â
Landoâs expression shifted, it all started to make sense. He moved closer, his eyes searching hers. âI didnât realize it was affecting you that much. Iâve been trying to be polite and professional but I see now that it came off the wrong way. I never intended to make you feel neglected.â
âIt wasnât just that,â Y/Nâs voice trembled slightly. âIt felt like you were enjoying the attention, like you were more interested in what she was offering than in me.â
Landoâs heart sank. He reached out and gently touched her cheek, his fingers brushing away a stray tear. âIâm so sorry if I gave you that impression. Youâre the most important person in my life, Y/N. I should have been more aware of how this was affecting you.â
Y/N let out a shaky breath, her defenses crumbling. âSometimes itâs hard to see you being so open with others when Iâm standing right there. I just needed to know that you see me, that you still value me.â
Lando took her hands in his. âYou are my priority,â his gaze was earnest and full of love. âIâm here because of you, because of us. I should have been more considerate. It was never about anyone else but you.â
She slowly let go off his hands but quickly shuffled closer so she could embrace him, the tension in her shoulders easing. âI just needed to feel like I mattered. I know Iâm not a part of the public spectacle all that much but I want to be a part of your world, not just in the background.â
âYou matter more than anyone else. I want you to be at the forefront of my mind, not in the shadows. Iâll do better and make sure you feel loved and valued, always.â
They kept talking, Y/N opening up about the struggles she faced dealing with the constand spotlight and Lando made a promise - not just to her but to himself as well - to be more mindful.

Lando had meticulously planned this playtime to be a big success. With his heart set on making Maebryâs day as joyful as possible he had prepared several entertaining activities. He envisioned a day filled with laughter and delight, imagining each moment as a small victory in the effort to bring smiles to his baby girlâs face.
Every detail was meticulously considered, from the toys to the activities, all chosen to engage and amuse his precious daughter. Nothing made him happier than seeing Maebryâs giggles and smiles and he was determined to deliver just that while Y/N and Noah were out having a mommy/son date.
The day began with his signature âPeekaboo.â Lando crouched behind the couch, peeking over the top with exaggerated wide eyes. âPeekaboo,â he called out, his voice as cheerful as he could manage. Maebry, dressed in a cute blue onesie and tiny socks, sitting on the plush carpet in their living room, briefly looked up, her eyes narrowing with curiosity. Lando's heart skipped a beat and he got excited but as quickly as she had looked she turned her attention back to the crumb on the floor she was currently inspecting. Lando's enthusiasm wavered but he shook it off and tried again, moving to another spot for a fresh attempt.
Next up was his colorful musical toy. He shook it vigorously, producing cheerful sounds and flashing lights. âLook, Maebry! Itâs a rainbow spinning thingy,â he said, shaking the toy with exaggerated motions. Maebry, however, barely glanced at it before focusing her attention on a forgotten piece of paper stuck to the floor. Landoâs jaw tightened, his confidence shaking but he wasnât ready to give up. He took a deep breath and prepared for the next activity.
Desperate to capture her interest, Lando reached for the âLiving Puppetâ - a bright orange hand puppet creation with big eyes. He put it on and began an animated puppet show. âHello, Maebry! Iâm Gigi and Iâm here to entertain you,â he said in a high-pitched, silly voice, making the puppet dance and sing. Maebry looked at the monster with a hint of curiosity, her little brow furrowing slightly but her fascination soon shifted to a stray sock sheâd found. She placed it on her head with the seriousness of a fashionista, completely ignoring the puppetâs antics. Landoâs face flushed with frustration. His carefully orchestrated plans seemed to be falling flat.
Determined not to let the day go to waste Lando decided to pull out all the stops. He stood up and started dancing - really dancing. âLook at me, Maebry! Iâm dancing just for you,â he said, trying to be as energetic and silly as possible. Maebry glanced over briefly, her attention momentarily captured but then she turned her focus to the dining chairâs legs. She began tapping them with a small, satisfied grin.
Landoâs shoulders slumped. He felt exhaustion and frustration bubbling up inside him. His elaborate plans for playtime were being completely overshadowed by his daughterâs fascination with ordinary household items. He sat down heavily on the floor, feeling a bit defeated. He watched as Maebry continued to tap the chair legs, seemingly oblivious to his efforts. Her small hands made a gentle rhythm, her eyes sparkling without a care in the world.
Taking a deep breath, Lando tried to redirect his frustration. He decided to join Maebry in her exploration. He picked up a few crumbs and began to examine them with exaggerated curiosity. âWow, look at this one, itâs got a very interesting texture,â he said, trying to sound enthusiastic, his voice filled with mock amazement. Maebry glanced at him, her eyes widening slightly before she giggled, reaching for another crumb with delight. Hearing that precious giggle, Lando felt a wave of relief wash over him. The sound heâd been striving for all morning was finally there.
As he continued to mimic her actions, Maebryâs giggles filled the room and Lando couldnât help but smile despite himself. He watched as she crawled through the apartment, her little hands scattering the crumbs from what looked like one of Noahâs treat bars around while laughing happily. Her joy was contagious and Lando found himself laughing along, his earlier frustrations melting away.
In that moment, Lando realized that his carefully crafted plans didnât need to be perfect. What mattered most was being present with Maebry, sharing in her simple, unfiltered joy.
âToday wasnât exactly what I planned,â Lando said with a chuckle, rubbing her back lovingly, âbut it turned out pretty great, didnât it?â
Maebry looked up at him with a radiant smile, her eyes twinkling with happiness. Her little face was flushed and her laughter was like music to Landoâs ears. All he could do was smile back at his little, happy girl, his heart swelling with love.

Lando was in the process of enduring an exhausting triple-header, racing through three back-to-back Grand Prix events across Europe. The schedule had been relentless, leaving him barely any time to check in with his family. When he finally managed to catch up, he was met with something he hadnât quite expected: a rising wave of jealousy.
Their new neighbor, Jake, had moved into the adjacent unit just before Landoâs racing marathon had begun. From his sparse updates Lando had seen that Y/N and Noah had been spending a lot of time with Jake who, as a single father with an easygoing nature, had quickly become popular with the buildingâs residents.
One evening Lando scrolled through social media from his hotel room and he came across a post showing Jake, Y/N and Noah having a picnic in the communal garden. Next to them was baby Maebry, the Norris familyâs newest addition. Some other pictures showed Jake playing soccer with Noah and even building some Legos. The sight of Y/N and Noahâs happy faces with Jake comfortably nestled among them sparked an unexpected amount of jealousy in Lando. It was as if Jake had become an honorary member of the family while Lando was just a spectator.
He chuckled bitterly to himself. Well, look at that. Jakeâs living the dream, playing happy family while Iâm here, stuck in a never-ending cycle of jet lag.
When Lando finally returned home he was eager to reunite with his family but his excitement was quickly overshadowed by the sight of Jake helping Y/N with a pile of laundry in the common area. As Lando approached he forced a warm smile that felt more like a grimace. âHey, Jake,â he said, his voice clearly annoyed. âGood to see you again. Thanks for, uh, doing the laundry.â
Jake looked up with a friendly grin, his demeanor as smooth as ever. âHey, Lando! No problem, just helping out. Y/N was a bit overwhelmed with the babyâs stuff, so I thought Iâd lend a hand.â
Lando nodded, trying to keep his thoughts from spilling out of his mouth. Of course you did. Because who wouldnât want to be the hero of the laundry room?
One afternoon the sink in the Norris familyâs apartment began to leak. Y/N was flustered, juggling baby Maebry and Noahâs endless stream of questions about superheroes. As Lando was in the middle of a several hour long conference call with his team but after a quick call from Y/N Jake showed up at the door with a toolbox and a grin.
âLooks like youâve got a bit of a plumbing emergency,â Jake said, his eyes sparkling with a mix of confidence and charm. âDonât worry, Iâve got this. Iâm basically a part-time plumber, part-time superhero.â
Y/N looked relieved and grateful. âThank you, Jake. I was about to call a professional but with everything going on, I didnât know where to start.â
âWell, if you ever need a plumber who doubles as a handyman and a personal charm specialist, you know where to find me,â Jake winked as he rolled up his sleeves.
Lando, who had heard his neighbors voice and instantly decided to end the call early, watched from the doorway, irritation simmering as he saw Jake confidently take charge. Ah, so now Jakeâs the neighborhood hero with a toolbox. Does he have a signature catchphrase too? âPlumbing problems? Jake to the rescue!â
As Jake worked on the sink he chatted with Y/N, occasionally tossing flirtatious comments over his shoulder. âYou know, Y/N, I think your sink is as stubborn as I am when it comes to giving up. But donât worry, Iâm pretty good at convincing things to go my way.â
Y/N chuckled, clearly enjoying the banter. âWell, Iâm glad youâre so determined. Weâd be lost without you.â
Jake looked up with a smile that was anything but casual. âIâd say youâre pretty lucky to have me around. Not just for fixing sinks but for making sure you have someone to brighten your day.â
Lando stood just outside the kitchen, feeling like he was witnessing a live performance of âHow to Steal Your Wife 101.â Great, now heâs the king of flirting while unclogging pipes. Whatâs next? A serenade with a plunger in hand?
Jake finished fixing the sink and looked at Y/N. âAll done! If you need anything else, whether itâs a helping hand or just someone to talk to, you know Iâm just next door.â
Y/N thanked Jake profusely and he headed out with a casual wave, leaving Lando to confront the situation with a stiff smile.
As days went by, Landoâs jealousy simmered. He noticed how Jake seemed to be everywhere at all times. It felt like Jake had become a permanent fixture in their lives while Lando was relegated to a supporting role.
One evening, after Jake had joined Y/N and Noah for a âfamily movie nightâ in the communal lounge, Lando, who had been busy working out, decided to address his frustrations. He plopped down next to Y/N, attempting to sound casual but failing miserably. âSo, what did you guys watch tonight?â he asked, his tone teetering between curiosity and annoyance.
âOh, Jake brought over a bunch of movies. We watched âThe Incredibles.â Jakeâs kids love it and Noah had a blast.â
Lando forced a smile, his mind racing. Jakeâs the movie night savior now too. Next thing you know, heâll be building a playhouse and teaching Noah how to ride a bike.
Y/N reached out and touched his arm reassuringly, clearly seeing the jealousy in her husbandâs eyes. âLando, you donât have to worry. Itâs just that Jakeâs been around a lot because heâs been so helpful. We really appreciate him but you know we miss you a lot.â
Despite Y/Nâs reassurances Landoâs jealousy festered. One evening, as Lando returned home from another exhausting day, his frustration peaked and he decided it was time to have a serious talk.
âY/N, can we talk for a minute?â Lando asked, his voice tight.
Y/N looked up, surprised by the seriousness in his tone. âSure, whatâs up?â
Lando led her to a quieter corner of the apartment so the kids wouldnât hear them. âItâs about Jake. Iâve noticed that heâs been around a lot lately, helping with everything from the plumbing to entertaining Noah.â
âYes, he has been very helpful. Why?â
Lando took a deep breath, trying to control his irritation. âIâm not just talking about him being helpful. It seems like heâs also been... flirting with you. Iâve seen him make these comments and itâs starting to really bother me.â
Y/Nâs eyes widened and she took a step back. âFlirting? Lando, are you serious? Jakeâs just being friendly. Heâs not trying to do anything inappropriate.â
âFriendly?â Lando ran a hand through his hair, his frustration spilling over. âHeâs practically moving in on our family. I saw him fixing the sink and making those comments. Itâs like heâs trying to be more than just a neighbor.â
Y/Nâs face softened with concern. âLando, I appreciate that youâre feeling this way but you need to trust me. Weâre friends with him and it doesnât mean anything more than that.â
Landoâs mind raced as he thought about confronting Jake directly but he didnât want Y/N to feel like he didnât trust her. Fine, maybe I have to take a different approachâŚ
Determined to reclaim his place in his familyâs life Lando began devising a plan. If they moved to a new house, he reasoned, they could start fresh and put some distance between themselves and Jakeâs frequent presence. He dived into real estate listings, focused to find them the perfect house, far away from any neighbors.
This oneâs got a huge backyard. Perfect for, I donât know, playing hide-and-seek without accidentally finding Jake. And look at this one, a home office! Finally, a place to escape from all the well-meaning neighbors.
A few days later Lando broached the topic with Y/N. âYou know, Iâve been thinking,â he said, leaning against the kitchen counter like he was about to reveal a major plot twist in a thriller, âmaybe itâs time for us to find a new place. Something with a bit more room. What do you think?â
Y/N looked up, her expression a mix of surprise and curiosity. âReally? I thought we were just starting to get settled here.â
âI know,â Lando nodded, attempting to sound casual, âbut with Maebry and everything, I think a bigger space might be nice. Plus, itâd give us a chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of apartment living.â
Y/N considered his suggestion, her gaze thoughtful. âWell, I suppose it would be nice to have more room and weâve talked about wanting a bigger place eventually.â
Landoâs plan was falling into place like a perfectly timed pit stop. He spent the next few weeks visiting houses, each one carefully chosen to seem like the ultimate family paradise. He made every decision appear practical and thoughtful, crafting the narrative that the new house was the best move for their family.
When he finally found the perfect house Lando prepared to break the news to Noah and Y/N with a level of enthusiasm that bordered on theatrical. âGuess what, guys? Weâre moving to a new house! Itâs going to be amazing, more space for all of us!â
Noahâs eyes lit up with excitement. âReally, Dad? Will it have a big backyard?â
âAbsolutely,â Lando said, nodding vigorously. âA huge backyard where you can play all the time.â
âIâm excited about the move, too,â Y/N directed at her husband, âbut you know, weâre going to miss Jake. Heâs been such a great friend.â
Lando smiled, though his mind was already racing with thoughts of fewer interruptions from their former neighbor. Yes, yes, we will totally miss him!
Lando couldnât help but chuckle as he imagined Jakeâs future antics, perhaps starting a new superhero club in his own apartment. For now, though, Lando was content with the knowledge that in this new house he was firmly back in the driverâs seat of his familyâs life.

AN: To both Anons, I hope you like it and if not let me know and I can rewrite đđŤś
hello. im in panic because i had this idea and I CANT GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD
so, basically y/n is childhood friends with max verstappen and charles leclerc, but y/n moved away so they lost contact. when she and noah went to the meet and greet, they didnât see her⌠so, one day lando and y/n takes noah (and their little girl too, if thatâs not much for you to write!) and y/n see her both childhood friends and run to them, hugging and catching up with them, and that leaves lando and noah jealous because y/nâs full attention is on the two drivers - both landoâs friends - in front of them.
that leaves lando to ask something like âI thought you were a papaya girl?â and y/n answers with a âi always was a red bull and ferrari girl first, i just never told youâ
The circuit was alive with pre-race energy as fans, mechanics and team members hustled and bustled in preparation for the big day. Among the crowd were Y/N and her young son, Noah, both eagerly soaking in the sights and sounds of the Formula 1 world. Y/N had been dating Lando Norris for a few months now and she appreciated how he made an effort to include her and Noah in his world. Today was a special treat - Lando had arranged for them to get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the entire paddock.
Noah, clutching his miniature McLaren car and looking up at Lando with admiration, was practically bouncing with excitement. âThis is amazing, Lando!â Noah exclaimed. âI never thought Iâd get to see all this up close!â
Lando grinned, clearly delighted by Noahâs enthusiasm. âIâm glad youâre enjoying it! Weâve got a lot more to see. How about we check out the driverâs area next?â
They continued their tour and Y/N found herself enjoying not just the sights but also the company. Lando had a way of making everything seem exciting, from explaining the intricacies of the car designs to sharing funny anecdotes about race day. The ease of their conversation and the way Lando interacted with Noah made Y/N feel even more connected to him.
âLando,â Y/N said, as they walked past the bustling garages, âI canât thank you enough for arranging this. Itâs not just Noah whoâs thrilled, Iâm pretty excited too.â
âItâs my pleasure,â he responded to her with a warm smile. âIâm glad you both are having a good time. Itâs nice to share this part of my world with you.â
They continued to explore, Lando pointing out key features and introducing them to various team members. When they rounded a corner near the Red Bull and Ferrari garages, Y/Nâs attention was caught by two familiar figures. Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc were standing together, engaged in conversation. The sight of them made Y/Nâs heart leap. It had been years since she had seen them and the surprise of actually seeing them brought back a flood of memories.
Without hesitation Y/N squeezed Noahâs hand and started walking briskly towards Max and Charles. âMax, Charles,â she called out, her voice both excited and emotional.
The two men turned, their faces nothing but astonished when they spotted Y/N. Maxâs eyes widened as recognition dawned. âY/N? Is that really you?â
âYes, itâs me,â Y/Nâs face lit up with joy, âI canât believe Iâm seeing you both here!â
Charles, equally thrilled, stepped forward. âThis is incredible! Itâs been ages. How have you been?â
The three of them embraced warmly and the air was soon filled with laughter and animated conversation. They quickly fell back into their old rhythm, catching up on each otherâs lives and reminiscing about the past. Noah stood beside them, looking up with wide eyes, soaking in the reunion.
Lando, meanwhile, was left standing a few steps behind. He had been following along with interest but was now watching with a puzzled expression as Y/N, seemingly out of nowhere, rushed towards Max and Charles. He was momentarily disoriented, having no clue about Y/Nâs past connections with the drivers.
Max, who had been listening to the exchange, smiled at Lando. âI had no idea you were dating our childhood friend.â Charles nodded, adding, âbut itâs clear that you and Y/N make a great team. Weâre happy for both of you.â
âSo how did you all meet?â Lando inquired, genuinely curious, and Charles recalled their story.
How, around the age of ten, Y/N moved to Monaco with her family, which allowed her to be closer to the heart of European motorsports where her dad used to be a karting coach. It was here that she met Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc. Max and Charles were both young karting prodigies and their paths crossed frequently at various racing events and training sessions. Y/N became fast friends with both drivers and the three formed a tight-knit trio.
When they grew older their careers took them in different directions. Y/N's focus shifted to her studies and she moved to London for university. Max and Charles continued their ascent in the racing world, their careers skyrocketing as they made names for themselves in Formula 1.
The demands of their careers and Y/Nâs new path led to a slow drift apart. They stayed in touch for a while but as their lives became more complex the frequency of their contact diminished. By the time Max and Charles became prominent figures in F1 Y/N was focused on her own world and then she got pregnant with Noah and they lost touch.
As the conversation between Y/N, Max, and Charles continued, Lando and Noah found themselves standing off to the side a bit. Noah, clutching his miniature McLaren car in one hand and Landoâs hand in the other, watched with wide eyes as his mother and her old friends shared stories and laughter. Lando as well observed the interaction with a mix of curiosity and unease.
Noah shifted from one foot to the other, his excitement about being at the race quickly giving way to a subtle feeling of abandonment. âLando,â he said quietly, âwhy isnât Mom paying attention to us right now?â
Lando glanced down at Noah, sensing his disappointment. âI think sheâs just really happy to see her old friends,â he said gently. âItâs probably a big deal for her.â
Noah nodded but didnât seem completely reassured. He continued to watch his mom who was animatedly talking with the two men, her laughter ringing out as they reminisced about their old days.
Landoâs own feelings of jealousy began to stir. He had been looking forward to spending the day with Y/N and Noah and seeing her so absorbed in the past while he and Noah stood on the sidelines left him feeling excluded, especially since he had no idea they even knew each other.
âHey, Noah,â Lando said, trying to shift the mood, âwhy donât we find a place to sit and watch the action from there? We can still see them but maybe itâll be a bit more comfortable than just standing here.â
Noah reluctantly agreed and they found a spot near the edge of the paddock where they had a clear view of Y/N, Max, and Charles. They sat together, with Noah perched on Landoâs knee, both watching the animated conversation unfold.
Lando took a deep breath, trying to reconcile his feelings. He understood how special this moment was for Y/N but seeing her so absorbed in the past made him feel sidelined. He tried to focus on the positive aspects, like how happy Noah looked whenever he glanced over at his mother.
After a few minutes Y/N noticed Lando and Noah sitting together and realized how much she had been monopolizing their attention. She excused herself from Max and Charles and walked over to them, a look of concern on her face.
âHey, you two,â Y/N said, kneeling down beside them. âIâm so sorry. I didnât mean to leave you out. I got caught up in the nostalgia, I guess.â
Lando smiled warmly, though his eyes betrayed him a bit with jealousy. âItâs okay, Y/N. We were just hanging out and watching. Itâs important to you, so itâs important to us.â
âYeah, mommy,â Noah nodded, his earlier disappointment softened by his motherâs attention back on him, âItâs cool. I just missed spending time with you.â
Y/N reached out and squeezed Noahâs hand, then turned to Lando with a grateful smile. âThank you for being so understanding. Letâs make the most of the rest of the day together. I promise Iâll give you both my full attention.â
Land guided Y/N and Noah back to the McLaren area and he couldnât help but say what was on his mind. âY/N, I have to admit, I am a bit confused. I thought you were all about McLaren, a âpapaya girlâ as they say.â
Y/N looked over at Lando, her smile still radiant from the reunion. âOh, I was a Ferrari and Red Bull girl first, I just never told you.â
Landoâs eyebrows shot up in surprise. âReally? Thatâs news to me. I had no idea.â
Y/N chuckled. âYeah, itâs something I kept to myself. I guess I wanted to focus on the present and the exciting things happening now but seeing Max and Charles again, it just brought back so many memories.â
Lando smiled warmly. âWell, Iâm glad you had the chance to reconnect with them. Itâs great to see old friends catching up.â
Eventually, Y/N turned back to Lando with a grateful smile. âThank you for being so understanding,â Y/N turned to him with a grateful smile, âthis day has been incredibly special.â
Lando reached out and took her hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. âItâs my pleasure. Iâm happy to be a part of this moment for you. Letâs make the most of the rest of the day and enjoy every bit of it.â

Lando Norris had been eagerly counting down the days until this Grand Prix race weekend. It wasnât just about the thrill of competition or the chance to showcase his racing skills. This particular weekend held a special excitement for him because it was an opportunity to share his high-octane world with Maebry for the first time. The stands were already packed with enthusiastic fans when Lando, accompanied by Y/N, Noah and Maebry navigated through the paddock.
Noah, ever the curious and energetic child, tugged on Landoâs hand. âDad, can we go see the cars up close later? Itâs been so long since weâve been at a race!â
âOf course,â Lando, trying to mask his own excitement, smiled down at his son. âIâve got a whole itinerary planned for you guys. Weâll see the cars, the pit lane and maybe even meet some of the other drivers. Itâs Maeâs first visit so I have to make it special!â
Y/N, holding said girl securely in her arms, couldnât help but notice Landoâs extra bounce in his step. âI think youâve got your priorities straight,â she said, chuckling. âThis is a special weekend indeed.â
Lando was eager to introduce his family to his colleagues and teammates. He had been looking forward to showing Maebry, who was just old enough to be fascinated by the colorful chaos of the Grand Prix, what his world was all about. The smell of gasoline and the roar of engines were like a symphony to Lando and he hoped Maebry would catch a bit of that magic.
When they finally arrived at Landoâs car, which was gleaming under the sunlight, he carefully lifted Maebry from Y/Nâs arms and held her tiny hand up to the carâs sleek livery. âLook, Maebry, this is Daddyâs car. Isnât it amazing?â
Maebry glanced at the car, then her attention darted to the car next to it. Landoâs heart sank as he saw her little eyes light up at the sight of the rivalâs red machine. The Ferrari was practically winking at her with its bright red paint and Maebry was enchanted.
âOh, come on,â Lando muttered under his breath, his smile twitching. âItâs just a car. Mine has more... character!â
Maebry giggled and reached out eagerly for the Ferrari. Lando tried to stay upbeat. âMaebry, sweetie, Daddyâs car is super fast and cool. Itâs the best car here,â he said, his voice rising to a pitch that would make any public speaker proud.
Noah, who saw his sister gleaming at the red car, had to intervene. âDaddyâs car can totally beat that Ferrari in a race! Itâs like, super duper fast,â he said, his McLaren pride clearly showing.
The girl, however, continued to be mesmerized by the Ferrari, her tiny fingers reaching towards it as if she was trying to pull it into her little world. Landoâs smile faltered completely and he felt an irrational pang of jealousy. âWhy is she not into my car? Is it the color? I don't understand, itâs basically the superhero of cars!â
âSheâs just discovering new things, Lando. Itâs probably just the bright color. Ferrari does have a certain appeal,â Y/N tried to reassure him and placed a hand on his shoulder.Â
Lando tried to laugh it off but it came out as more of a strangled chuckle. âYeah, sure. Iâll just add âbright redâ to my carâs next upgrade, Zak will love that.â
As the race began, Maebry clapped her hands and squealed with joy as the engines came to life. Lando was focused on the track waiting for the race to start, determined to give his best performance but every time he glanced over at Maebry in the paddock club overlooking the pit lane he saw her pointing towards the rival car. It was like a constant reminder that his daughter had developed an unexpected crush on Ferrari.
Noah, meanwhile, continued to be Landoâs most enthusiastic cheerleader. âGo, Daddy,â he shouted, waving his flag energetically. Lando appreciated Noahâs support but every enthusiastic shout from his son felt like a band-aid on the gaping wound of his jealousy.
The race progressed with Lando pushing himself to the limit. He performed admirably, navigating the track with the precision and skill he was known for. However, the nagging thought of Maebryâs fascination with the Ferrari was a persistent distraction. It was as if every turn he took was accompanied by a mental image of Maebry gazing longingly at the rival car.
After the race, with Y/N, Noah and Maebry in tow, Lando approached the Ferrari motorhome. He tried to keep his spirits high, even as he recalled how heâd set up this meeting days earlier without a clue that Maebry would develop an almost magnetic fascination with Ferrari.
He took a deep breath and tried to mentally prepare himself. He hoped the sight of his friends Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz would help take his mind off the dayâs earlier frustrations.
The Ferrari motorhome was a hive of activity, filled with team members, fans and the occasional stray driver who had wandered in for a post-race chat. Charles and Carlos were engaged in animated conversation with a few of their team members, their faces lighting up with the energy of a good race and a job well done.
Lando, trying to appear casual despite the slight tinge of envy still gnawing at him, waved energetically. âHey, guys,â he called out, his voice a bit too cheerful, like someone trying to overcompensate for a bad day and he cast a quick glance at Y/N when he heard her stifle a laugh next to him.
Charles and Carlos looked up from their conversation, their faces breaking into genuine smiles when they saw Lando and his family approaching. Charles waved back enthusiastically. âHey, Lando! Great to see you all, come on in!â
Noah, bouncing with excitement, stepped forward. âI have so many questions for you two!â
Charles laughed, clearly enjoying Noahâs enthusiasm. âWeâve got time. We will answer all of them!â
Lando shifted Maebry in his arms so she could get a better view while trying hard to keep his cool. âMaebry, this is Charles and Carlos. Theyâre really good friends of Daddyâs.â
Charles and Carlos turned their full attention to Maebry. âHi, Maebry,â Charles said with a warm smile. âItâs so nice to meet you!â
Carlos added, âDo you like racing, Maebry?â
Maebryâs eyes widened as she looked around, then her gaze locked onto the Ferrari logo on the side of the building. Without hesitation she pointed at it with the excitement of a kid who just discovered chocolate.
Landoâs heart sank even further. âSeriously? I might need to get her a McLaren onesie and start over.â
âLooks like weâve got a tiny Tifosi on our hands,â Carlos said with a playful grin and exchanged an amused look with Charles. âFerrari is pretty iconic.â
âThatâs a great choice, Maebry,â Charles added. âFerrari is all about history and passion, itâs hard not to be impressed.â
Y/N gave Lando a sympathetic look. âSheâs just discovering her favorites. Itâs perfectly okay and it doesnât mean she doesnât love your car.â
âYeah, I guess,â Lando forced a smile, though he still felt a twinge of disappointment but he didnât want to make a scene in front of his friends. âI just wanted her to be excited about my car, tooâŚâ
Carlos, noticing Landoâs subdued mood, decided to lighten the atmosphere. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small Ferrari keychain. âHow about a little keepsake for Maebry?â
Maebryâs face lit up and she eagerly reached for the keychain. Lando, trying to suppress his feelings, joked: âMaybe I should just repaint my car Ferrari red and call it a day.â
âDonât worry, Lando,â Charles clapped Lando on the back, âweâll make sure she knows how awesome McLaren is too.â
As they chatted, Maebry continued to admire the Ferrari keychain, her attention completely absorbed by the small emblem. Lando watched her intensely, feeling a mix of frustration and resignation. His daughterâs fascination with the rival team was a hard pill to swallow but he couldnât deny the joy on her face.
With goodbyes exchanged and a few more photos taken, Landoâs family left the Ferrari motorhome. Maebry clutched her new keychain, her face beaming with happiness, while Noah chattered excitedly about the dayâs events.
Later, as Lando carried a sleepy Maebry on his shoulder, her little fingers holding onto the Ferrari keychain and a souvenir flag, he felt mixed emotions. Despite the dayâs earlier frustrations, seeing her so content and peaceful made his heart swell but he was still jealous.
Y/N looked at Lando with a knowing smile. âYou did great out there and Maebry had a blast, even if sheâs got a bit of a rivalry going with your car.â
âI guess sheâll have her favorites just like everyone else. At least she had fun,â Lando chuckled softly, shaking his head.Â
Noah, still buzzing from the dayâs excitement, grabbed Landoâs hand. âDad, you were awesome! Even if Maebry likes the other car, youâre still the best!â
âThanks, buddy,â Lando said, squeezing Noahâs hand. âThat means a lot.â
As they walked to their car Lando glanced down at his daughter. Maybe one day sheâd appreciate his carâs greatness - or at least learn to love both Ferraris and McLarens.

Lando had just finished preparing a bottle for his daughter when he heard the familiar patter of small feet racing down the hallway. A few short moments later Noah skidded into the kitchen with his favorite toy car tucked under his arm. âDad, can I help with Maebry today?â
âOf course,â Lando slightly chuckled at his sonâs eagerness, âIâd love your help. How about you start by picking out a nice outfit for Maebry?â
Noahâs face lit up with a grin as he darted toward the dresser in Maebryâs room. He pulled open the drawer and sifted through the neatly folded clothes, his small hands carefully selecting a soft pink onesie with ruffles just as his father came into the room. âHow about this one, dad? I remember when mommy and I bought it at the baby store!â
âGreat choice, buddy, but letâs feed her first,â Lando settled into the rocking chair with her, gently cradling her in his arms. Noah stood by, his face a mix of curiosity and determination. âCan I hold the bottle for Maebry?â he asked, his voice filled with hope.
Lando smiled warmly when he got an idea. âHow about we practice holding the bottle with Maebry on your lap?â
He got back up and then carefully guided Noah to sit down in the rocking chair, making sure he was settled and relaxed. Then, Lando gently placed Maebry into the boyâs lap, positioning her so that she was cradled securely.
âOkay, Noah,â Lando said, ânow letâs get the bottle ready. Iâll show you how to hold it just right.â
Lando took the bottle and demonstrated, positioning it at a slight angle. âYou want to hold the bottle like this,â he explained, âso that Maebry can drink comfortably.â
Noah watched intently as Lando held the bottle. âLike this?â he asked, adjusting his grip to mimic his fatherâs demonstration.
âExactly,â Lando encouraged. âNow, you can hold it gently but firmly. Make sure to hold her.â
Noah adjusted his grip, holding the bottle with care and his sisterâs little mouth found the nipple and she began to drink eagerly. Noahâs eyes widened with delight as he watched her.
âSheâs drinking! Dad, Iâm doing it,â Noah said, his voice filled with excitement.
âYouâre doing an amazing job, Noah. Itâs important to be gentle and patient. Youâre a natural at this.â
Maebry continued to drink and Lando took the opportunity to share more tips with Noah. âYou see how Maebry is looking at you? Babies are very perceptive. They can sense the love and care you give them. Just keep talking to her and being gentle.â
Noahâs face glowed with pride as he talked softly to Maebry. âHi, Maebry. Iâm Noah. Iâm going to tell you all about my favorite car races and soon we can play together!â
âYouâre doing so well, Noah,â Lando watched the interaction between his kids. âAnd when Maebry gets a bit older, sheâll love hearing all your stories. Youâre helping her now and thatâs a special thing.â
Once Maebry had finished her bottle, Lando gently took her from Noahâs lap and held her close while carrying her to the changing table. Noah followed closely behind, still watching his now awake and blinking baby sister and a few moments later he handed his dad the onesie he had picked out.
Lando skillfully dressed Maebry and Noah watched with intense concentration, his tiny fingers occasionally reaching out to touch his sisterâs tiny toes or smooth her hair. âSheâs so tiny,â he said, his voice full of wonder.
Lando chuckled softly. âShe is, isnât she? And youâre doing a fantastic job helping her get ready.â
Once Maebry was dressed Lando smiled at the sight and said, âYou know, Noah, I think Maebry would look even cuter with some socks and a bow. What do you think? Do you want to put them on?â
Noah nodded and quickly went back over to her dresser and pulled out a pair of white socks and a white bow to complete her little outfit. First, Noah carefully slipped the soft socks onto Maebryâs tiny feet, making sure they were snug but not too tight. He giggled as he admired how cute they looked. âMaebryâs feet look like little marshmallows, so cute and squishy!â
Lando started to giggle at the comparison and watched his son gently placing the small bow on Maebryâs head, adjusting it to sit just right. He stepped back and beamed at his work. âShe looks so pretty, Dad, I think she loves it!â
Lando smiled and ruffled Noahâs hair. âYouâve done an amazing job. Maebry looks like a little princess.â
As they finished up, Maebry stirred slightly, her tiny fingers reaching out as if to grasp the love and care surrounding her. Noah watched with a soft smile as his baby sister started to laugh and blow tiny bubbles.
The afternoon wore on and Lando and Noah decided it was time for some play. Lando set up a cozy play area on the floor with a colorful mat and a few soft toys. Noah eagerly scooted over, settling beside Maebry. âDad, can I show Maebry my favorite toy car?â he asked.
Lando nodded, amused. âSure, Noah. Just make sure youâre gentle and let her see the toy without getting too close.â
Noah carefully rolled his toy car back and forth, making sure Maebry could see the bright colors and hear the gentle sounds. âLook, Maebry! This is my racing car. It goes super fast and one day youâll be able to play with it too!â
Maebryâs eyes followed the toy car with fascination and Noahâs excitement grew by the minute. He continued to talk to her, recounting stories of imaginary races and making up adventures for the car.
When it was time for Maebryâs nap Noah carefully tucked her in the soft, pastel blankets, arranging them just right. His face was full of concentration, his love for his sister evident in every small gesture.
When Maebry woke for another feeding, Noah was quick to fetch a fresh bottle from the kitchen, his little feet padding down the hall with purpose. âHereâs the bottle, Dad,â he said, handing it over with a proud smile.
âThanks, Noah. Youâve been such a great helper today.â
Noahâs chest puffed out with pride. âI like helping you with Maebry. Itâs fun and I canât wait to do even more tomorrow.â
As evening settled in, Lando and Noah relaxed in the living room, Maebry contentedly asleep in her crib nearby. Noah snuggled up beside his dad, his eyes sleepy but happy. âToday was the best, Dad. I think Maebry likes me being her big brother.â
âI know she does, Noah,â Lando agreed and wrapped an arm around the boy. âYouâve been wonderful with her today and Iâm so proud of you.â
Later that evening, after Maebry was put down into her crib for the night, Noah stood next to her, his gaze soft. He began to talk to her, his voice gentle and soothing. âHi, Mae, itâs Noah. I just wanted to tell you how much I love you. I canât wait to show you all of my toys and play with you when youâre bigger and tell you all about racing. Youâre my little sister and Iâm going to take care of you.â
Lando stood in the doorway, his heart melting as he watched Noah interact with her. The sight of his son speaking so tenderly to his baby sister filled him with so much love and he couldnât have been any prouder of his son at that moment.
Noah continued to chat with Maebry for a little while before he turned around. He walked up to his dad and gave him a tight hug before looking back at the crib once more before leaving the room with Lando, who gently placed a hand on Noahâs shoulder, slowly guiding the boy into his own bedroom.Â
As Lando tucked Noah into bed, he looked down at his son with a loving smile. âIâm so proud of how youâve helped and cared for her today. Thank you for being such a great big brother. Maebry is so lucky to have you.â
âAnd Iâm lucky to have her. I canât wait for all the fun weâll have together.â

Despite the loving environment in the Norris household there was an undercurrent of tension that Lando and Y/N had been trying to address. Over the past few weeks Noah had become increasingly withdrawn, refusing invitations to play with Lando and preferring to stay in his room over family activities. It wasnât lost on Y/N that this change coincided with Maebryâs milestones like her first crawling and first mumbled words, moments that seemed to draw Landoâs attention.
One evening Y/N suggested it was time for the childrenâs bath. Lando, eager to contribute to the evening routine, volunteered to handle Maebry, knowing how much she enjoyed splashing around in the tub.
When Lando filled the bath with warm water and playful bath toys Noah wandered into the bathroom, hoping to join in. He had been excited to help with Maebryâs bath, thinking it might be a fun way to spend time with Lando.
However, when Noah entered the room, he saw Lando completely absorbed in the task of making his daughter giggle. The young man was making silly faces, floating bath toys in front of her and engaging in playful water splashes that elicited adorable squeals from the baby. Noah watched quietly from the doorway, his enthusiasm waning as he felt like an outsider to this moment.
When Noah slowly approached asking if he could help with anything, Lando just smiled. âJust a few more minutes, Noah. Iâm almost done here with Maebry. How about you go pick out a bedtime story for us to read later?â
Noah, feeling disappointed, nodded silently and retreated to the living room. The attention Lando gave to Maebry during bath time seemed to highlight Noahâs sense of being left out.
One morning a few days later when they all gathered for breakfast Lando couldnât help but notice Noahâs distant demeanor. The boy barely ate any of his cereal, his usual cheerfulness absent. Lando tried to engage him.
âHey, Noah,â Lando said, slightly concerned, âHow about we build something with the Legos later? Maybe a new spaceship or a cool castle?â
Noah shrugged, not meeting Landoâs eyes. âMaybe,â he mumbled, his tone flat.
Y/N, who had been quietly observing, decided it was time for a deeper conversation. After breakfast she took Noah by the hand and led him to a cozy corner of the living room where a soft blanket was draped over a bean bag. She sat down and patted the spot next to her.
âNoah, can we have a chat?â she asked softly.
Noah hesitated, looking slightly uneasy. âOkay,â he said, finally sitting beside his mother.
Y/N took a deep breath, her heart heavy with concern. âIâve noticed youâve been a bit quiet and distant lately. You havenât been as excited to spend time with Lando or join in with the family activities. Is there something on your mind?â
Noah stared at his fidgeting fingers, his voice barely above a whisper. âI just⌠I feel like dad loves Maebry more than me. Sheâs his real daughter and Iâm not. Maybe thatâs why heâs been spending more time with her.â
Y/Nâs heart sank at her sonâs words. She took his hand in hers trying to be reassuring. âNoah, love isnât about whoâs biologically related to whom. Itâs about the connection we build, the care we give and the moments we share together.â
Noah kept looking at the floor, the doubt still evident in his eyes. âBut lately, it feels like dad has been so focused on Maebry, playing with her, taking care of her and Iâve been left out. I donât know if he still wants to spend time with me.â
Y/N sighed, understanding the weight of Noahâs feelings. âSometimes, when a new baby comes into the family, itâs easy to feel like the older child is left out. But thatâs not because youâre loved any less. Dadâs attention on Maebry right now is because she needs a lot of care as a baby but that doesnât mean he loves you any less.â
âSo, youâre saying itâs just because Maebry is a baby?â Noah asked quietly, his eyes welling up with tears.Â
âExactly,â Y/N nodded, brushing a tear from Noahâs cheek. âItâs not about how much love there is, itâs about how we balance our time and attention and sometimes we need to make an extra effort to show that love to everyone in different ways.â
âBut what if Lando doesnât really want to play with me anymore?â the boy asked, still a bit sad.
Y/N squeezed his hand gently. âLando loves you deeply, Noah. Just because he has to care for Maebry doesnât mean heâs forgotten about you. Itâs important for us to talk about our feelings and not let misunderstandings grow. If you ever feel left out, you need to tell us. We want to make sure you always feel loved and included.â
Noah looked up, a flicker of hope in his eyes. âDo you think we could talk to dad about this?â
âOf course,â Y/N smiled softly, relieved that Noah was open to communicating. âItâs important that you share your thoughts with him.â
After sharing a long - and much needed - hug Y/N led Noah back out to the balcony where Lando was setting up a huge pile of Legos. Lando looked up, his face lighting up with a smile.Â
Noah still looked a bit unsure but Y/N gently nudged him forward. âWhy donât you talk to Dad for a moment before you start?â
Lando noticed the serious undertone in his wifeâs voice. âWhatâs up, buddy?â he asked gently and guided Noah to the seating area while Y/N went back inside to entertain her daughter with a snack and a book.Â
Noah fidgeted with the hem of his shirt before speaking. âI was talking to Mom, and⌠Iâm worried that maybe you donât love me as much as Maebry because sheâs your real daughter and Iâm not.â
Landoâs heart ached hearing those words. For a second he wasnât sure how to respond, he never thought Noah would even think of such a possibility. He gently placed a hand on Noahâs shoulder and looked into his eyes. âNoah, I want you to know something very important. Being a parent isnât just about biology, itâs about how we love and care for each other.â
Noah nodded, his eyes still unsure.
Lando took a deep breath. âWhen I married your mom and adopted you I made a choice. I chose to be your dad. I chose to love you, protect you and be there for you and that choice is something I will never, ever regret. You mean the world to me, just like Maebry does.â
Noahâs eyes widened and he looked down at the floor, his emotions swirling. âBut sometimes it feels like Maebry gets more attention.â
Lando placed a comforting hand on Noahâs back. âMaebry is younger and she needs a lot of care right now. But that doesnât mean youâre any less important, it just means we have to balance our attention. I promise you, I love you and your sister both so very much and that love grows bigger every day.â
âReally?â Noahâs lip quivered and he looked up at his dad with a hopeful smile.Â
Lando smiled gently at the boy, trying to put as much love into it as possible. âReally.â
Noahâs worry began to fade as he listened to Landoâs words. He threw his arms around his dad in a tight hug, feeling the reassurance he so desperately needed.
âThanks, Dad,â Noah whispered, his voice muffled against Landoâs shoulder.
Lando hugged him back, his heart swelling. âAnytime, buddy. Whenever you need to talk or if youâre ever unsure, remember that youâre my first child, Noah, and that means you hold a special place in my heart. Every moment we spend together is precious to me. I wouldnât trade it for anything.â
A few days later Y/N was out with some of her girlfriends, leaving Lando in charge of bedtime for Noah and Maebry. Lando decided to make it special by setting up a cozy spot in the living room with pillows and blankets, preparing for an evening of storytelling.
He began by reading to Maebry, choosing a vibrant picture book full of colorful illustrations. Landoâs animated voice and playful expressions made Maebry giggle and reach for the pictures. Noah, holding his favorite bedtime story, watched from the edge of the blanket fort, feeling increasingly left out as Landoâs attention again was entirely on Maebry.
After finishing with Maebry, he gently lifted her from the blankets and placed her in her crib. He then turned to Noah with a warm smile. âHow about we turn your favorite story into a special adventure tonight?â
Noah looked up, curiosity piqued. âWhat do you mean, Dad?â
Landoâs eyes twinkled with excitement. âWeâll use the blanket fort as our magic castle. Iâll be the storyteller and youâll help me make the adventure come alive. What do you think?â
Noahâs face brightened, his sadness fading. âThat sounds fun!â
Lando helped Noah into the blanket fort, arranging the pillows and turning on a small flashlight to create some extra magic. He began reading Noahâs favorite story about a brave knight and a dragon. He asked Noah to help with sound effects like the dragonâs roar and the knightâs sword clashing.
The longer they read, the more of Noahâs initial shyness melted away. He joined in, making the story come to life together with his dad. At the end of the story, Lando wrapped up with a triumphant finale where the knight saved the kingdom. He looked at Noah and said, âYou were an amazing knight tonight.â
âThanks, Dad. I had a lot of fun!â Noah smiled brightly at his father who pulled him into a tight hug.
âI love you, Noah and even though Maebry needs extra care right now, that doesnât change how important you are to me. Weâll always have these special moments.â
With their special bedtime adventure complete, Lando helped Noah get tucked into bed, promising more adventures in the future and Noah drifted off to sleep feeling loved and cherished.

They had planned a simple Tuesday afternoon outing to the park, a rare chance for Lando to take a break from the demanding world of Formula 1 and spend some quality time with Y/N and five-year-old Noah. Y/N had taken Noah to the park earlier in the day, excited to let him burn off some energy before Lando joined them. Lando, always punctual in his professional life, was running a bit behind but was eager to catch up.
When he approached the park the sounds of children's laughter filled the air. Lando scanned the area and spotted Y/N and Noah near the playground. Noah was climbing the jungle gym and Lando had to smile seeing him. He waved and called out to his girlfriend and her son.
Noah looked up, his face lighting up when he spotted the young man. âLando!â he shouted, waving enthusiastically.
The Brit felt a surge of joy as he started walking over but then he heard a loud, piercing cry that made his blood run cold. It was Noahâs voice and it was followed by a heart-wrenching sob.
Landoâs face went pale and his instinct took over. He sprinted towards the boy, his usual grace and agility as a driver replaced by sheer panic. He dodged a toddler on a tricycle and practically flew over a bench, his eyes wide and frantic.
When he reached Noah the scene was enough to make his heart skip a beat. The boy was lying on the grass, clutching his ankle and crying loudly. Y/N was kneeling beside him, her face worried but her actions calm and practiced.
âWhat happened?â Landoâs voice came out in almost a high-pitched squeak as he dropped to his knees beside them. âIs he okay? Should we call an ambulance? Is he-â
Y/N quickly intervened, placing a hand on Landoâs arm. âLando, itâs okay. Noah twisted his ankle when he fell and he has a tiny scrap on his knee. Itâs not too serious, just sore and his knee is barely bleeding. We can handle this.â
Landoâs eyes were darting around as if searching for a sign or a guide on what to do next. âAre you sure he doesnât need help? Maybe we should-â
âNo, Lando,â Y/N said firmly, though her lips were twitching with a hint of amusement. âItâs just a twist. We have everything we need, we just need to calm down. Can you please grab some ice from the cooler and a bandaid from my purse?â
Landoâs hands were shaking as he fumbled with his girlfriendâs purse, rummaging through the items and pulling out several things. Y/N tried not to laugh as Lando frantically pulled out her wallet but his panic led him to accidentally slap himself in the face with it. âOw! Iâm hurting myself now,â he yelped.
âLando, focus,â Y/N said, trying to keep her voice soothing despite the situationâs absurdity. âWe need to get ice on Noahâs ankle.â
Lando nodded vigorously, though he was still visibly shaking. He wrapped some of the ice from the little cooler back they had brought with some sandwiches in a towel but struggled to hold it gently against Noahâs ankle without slipping. âIâm sorry, buddy. Iâm just really, really sorry.â
Noah, still sniffling but looking more curious than pained now, reached up and patted Landoâs cheek. âLando, youâre making funny faces.â
Landoâs eyes softened as he looked at the boy while Y/N was placing a bandaid on her sonâs knee. âI was just really worried, Noah. I didnât mean to freak out so much.â
âItâs okay, Lando,â Y/N rubbed Landoâs back reassuringly, âNoah is fine and youâre doing great.â
Lando took a deep breath, trying to calm his racing heart. He glanced at Y/N, who was expertly wrapping the ice pack in place. âOkay, okay. Iâm finally calming down. No more panicking. Just focus on making sure Noahâs okay.â
The boyâs cries had turned into soft whimpers and he began to smile slightly. âCan we go get ice cream now?â he asked, his mood shifting as the pain began to ease.
Landoâs face brightened. âAbsolutely, ice cream is the best medicine!â
Y/N chuckled and helped Lando carefully lift Noah onto his back. When they started walking toward the park exit Lando was slightly embarrassed. âI think I made a bit of a scene back there.â
âJust a bit,â Y/N grinned, âbut itâs okay, itâs nice to see how much you care, even if it means panicking like that.â
Lando laughed, his cheeks reddening. âWell, if you ever need someone to handle a twisted ankle, Iâm your man. Just donât expect me to stay calm about it.â
They reached the ice cream stand and Noahâs face lit up as he chose his favorite flavor. Lando, now much more relaxed and even a little embarrassed by his earlier performance, watched with a smile as Y/N and Noah enjoyed their treats.
Once they sat together on a park bench Lando watched how Y/N and Noah enjoyed their treats. Happily licking her ice cream Y/N leaned over and gave Lando a playful nudge. âYou can be quite dramatic.â
âI guess so,â he chuckled. âBut Iâd do it all over again if it means making sure Noahâs okay.â

Lando had finally found some downtime from his intense racing schedule and he, Y/N and their eight-month-old daughter were all enjoying a few peaceful moments in the living room together while Noah was playing with the Legos in his room. Y/N had been organizing some things while Lando sat on the floor, playing with Maebry, who had just started crawling.
Lando was trying to coax Maebry to crawl towards him with a bright, crinkly toy that jingled when shaken and the girl was slowly inching her way across the soft carpet, giggling as she reached for the toy.
âCome on, Maebry! Almost there,â Lando cheered, hoping to encourage his daughter.
Y/N watched from the sofa, a warm smile on her face as she admired Landoâs playful side. âSheâs getting really good at crawling,â she said, gently folding a blanket.
Just as she was about to reach the toy she wobbled slightly and lost her balance. Her tiny hands flailed as she tumbled forward, landing face-first on the carpet. The fall wasnât far but it was enough to make Maebry let out a startled cry. The sound cut through the room and Landoâs heart immediately stopped.
âMae,â Landoâs voice was high-pitched as he scrambled over to her, nearly toppling over himself in his rush. He reached Maebry and gently lifted her into his arms, his face pale with concern. âOh no, are you okay, sweetheart?â
Y/N was already by their side, her face also concerned but trying to stay calm. âLando, itâs okay. Itâs just a little fall. Sheâs probably just startled.â
Landoâs hands were shaking as he checked Maebry over, his eyes darting around as if searching for an instruction manual. âBut what if sheâs hurt? Maybe sheâs got a concussion or-â
âLando,â Y/N said, placing a calming hand on his arm. âSheâs fine. It was just a small tumble. Letâs not overreact.â
He was still holding his daughter as if she were made of glass. He looked at Y/N with wide, panicked eyes. âBut what if sheâs in pain? What if sheâs-â
Y/N took a deep breath, trying not to laugh at Landoâs over-the-top reaction. âSheâs not in any serious danger. Just comfort her and calm her down, sheâll probably start smiling again in a minute.â
Maebry was indeed starting to calm down, her initial cries fading into soft whimpers. She reached out for her dadâs face, her little fingers brushing his cheeks.Â
Landoâs eyes softened as he looked at her. âIâm so sorry, Mae,â he said, his voice still slightly trembling. âI just got really scared. Daddyâs here, okay?â
âHere, let her hold this,â Y/N grabbed a soft toy and handed it to Lando, who gently placed it in Maebryâs tiny hands, âit might help her feel better.â
Lando held his daughter close, his heart still racing but his panic subsiding when he saw her starting to smile. âYouâre so brave,â he said, giving her a gentle kiss on the forehead. âI promise Iâll try not to freak out next time.â
Y/N settled back onto the sofa, shaking her head with a loving smile. âYou know, for someone whoâs so calm on the racetrack you turn into a bit of a drama king when it comes to our kids.â
âWhatâs that supposed to mean?â Lando raised an eyebrow, a curious smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth.
Y/N chuckled, shaking her head as she looked over at him. âRemember when Noah hurt his ankle at the park when he was five? You practically turned into a wreck. I thought you were going to call an ambulance.â
Lando groaned, rolling his eyes but unable to hide his grin. âAlright, alright, point taken. I guess I do get a little more dramatic when it comes to the kids. I guess Iâm just better at handling high-speed chases than small injuries.â
As Maebry began to crawl again, this time more cautiously, Lando watched her closely, ready to catch her if she fell again but trying to hide his lingering anxiety behind a reassuring smile.
Y/N leaned over and rested her head on Landoâs shoulder. âSheâs doing great. And so are you, even if you are a bit of a panicker.â
âI guess Iâll need to work on my âcalm under pressureâ skills when it comes to parenting.â

Y/N stood in the kitchen, feeling increasingly overwhelmed as the ingredients piled up around her. She had watched countless YouTube videos and read recipe after recipe but nothing had prepared her for the chaos unfolding before her eyes. The rice paper wrappers kept tearing, the vegetables were unevenly chopped and the dipping sauce didnât taste anything like it was supposed to.
Max Fewtrell was leaning against the counter, watching his and Lando's best friend, trying his best to hide his amusement. "You sure you donât want to just order these? I can make the call in two seconds."
"No, Max," Y/N replied, her voice wavering as she struggled to keep her composure. "Lando loves these and after the weekend he had I really want to do something special for him. Heâs always so supportive of me and I want to be there for him too."
Max noticed the slight tremor in her voice and softened his tone. "I get it, Y/N. But⌠you look like youâre about to have a meltdown. Are you sure this is worth it?"
Y/N swallowed hard, feeling the pressure building in her chest. "I just⌠I just want it to be perfect. He deserves something nice after this race I thought this would be easy, butâŚ" Her voice cracked and she blinked rapidly, trying to keep the tears at bay.
Maxâs grin faded as he realized how upset she was. He moved closer, gently taking the knife out of her hand before she could accidentally cut herself. âItâs okay. It doesnât have to be perfect."
Y/N shook her head, her frustration spilling over as tears welled up in her eyes. "But everything is going wrong, Max! The wrappers keep tearing, the sauce tastes awful and Iâve made such a mess. I just wanted to do something nice for him and Iâm screwing it all up!"
Max quickly wrapped her in a hug, rubbing her back soothingly. "Shh, itâs okay. Youâre doing great, Y/N. Youâre trying and thatâs what counts. Lando is going to appreciate this no matter what."
Y/N buried her face in his shoulder, trying to calm down. "But what if he hates it? What if it just makes him feel worse?"
"Thereâs no way heâs going to hate it. He cares about you and heâs going to see how much effort you put into this. Trust me, itâs going to cheer him up."
She sniffled, wiping her eyes with the back of her hand. "I just donât want to let him down."
"You wonât," Max assured her. "Besides, if the spring rolls donât turn out, weâll just distract him with something else. Like ordering pizza. That always works."
Y/N managed a small laugh, feeling a bit of the tension release. "Thanks, Max. Iâm just⌠Iâm so bad at this and I wanted it to be perfect."
Max smiled and gently wiped away a tear that had escaped down her cheek. "Perfection is overrated. And honestly, itâs pretty amazing that youâre doing this at all, considering how much you hate cooking."
Y/N sniffled again, finally allowing herself to smile. "Yeah, I guess I donât have the best track record in the kitchen, do I?"
"Not exactly," Max teased, "but thatâs what makes this so special. Youâre doing something outside your comfort zone because you care. And thatâs whatâs going to mean the most to Lando."
After calming Y/N down Max glanced at the mess on the counter and rolled up his sleeves. "Alright, letâs do this together. Weâll make these spring rolls the best they can be."
"Youâre going to help? I thought you were just here to laugh at my misery,â Y/N looked at him, surprised.
"Laughing was fun but seeing you this upset isnât. Letâs turn this around."
With Maxâs help, the kitchen felt a lot less chaotic. He took over the trickier parts, like handling the delicate rice paper wrappers, while Y/N focused on chopping the vegetables, much more evenly this time under Maxâs watchful eye. They worked together, laughing as they went and slowly but surely, the spring rolls began to take shape.
"This isnât so bad when youâve got someone to help," Y/N admitted as she watched Max expertly roll up another spring roll. "I might actually survive this."
Max grinned. "Teamwork makes the dream work, right? Plus, Iâve made these a few times before, so Iâve got a few tricks up my sleeve."
"Of course you have," Y/N said with a smile, shaking her head in mock exasperation. "Is there anything you havenât done?"
"Cooking is all about confidence," Max replied, handing her a finished spring roll to place on the plate. "And a little bit of improvisation."
Soon, they had a plate full of neatly rolled and fried spring rolls that looked almost professional. Y/N couldnât believe it. "We actually did it," she said, a mix of relief and disbelief in her voice. "These look so much better than the ones I tried to make on my own."
Max gave her a playful nudge. "See? Told you it would be fine. And look, no tears and no fires. Iâd say thatâs a win."
"Thanks, Max. I couldnât have done this without you."
"Anytime," Max said with a grin. "Now, letâs get this place cleaned up before Lando gets home and thinks we fought a war in here."
They quickly tidied up the kitchen, hiding the evidence of Y/Nâs earlier disasters. Just as they finished they heard the front door open. Lando was home.
Y/N exchanged a quick, nervous glance with Max who gave her a reassuring nod. She took a deep breath as Lando walked into the kitchen, looking tired but happy to be home.
The moment Lando saw the plate of spring rolls on the table, his eyes widened in surprise. "You made spring rolls?" he asked, almost shocked. "They look⌠amazing!"
Y/N blushed, feeling a mix of pride and relief. "Yeah⌠well, Max helped a lot."
Lando turned to Max, raising an eyebrow. "You helped?"
Max grinned and shrugged nonchalantly. "What can I say? Iâm a man of many talents."
Lando shook his head in disbelief, a smile spreading across his face. "I honestly didnât think youâd be able to pull this off. Not after last timeâŚ"
Y/N laughed, feeling the tension finally lift. "Yeah, it was touch-and-go for a while there but Max saved the day."
Lando walked over to the table, picking up one of the spring rolls and examining it with curiosity. "These look perfect. I canât believe you guys actually did it."
Max leaned back against the counter, crossing his arms with a satisfied smile. "I told you, teamwork makes the dream work."
Lando took a bite of the spring roll, his eyes widening in surprise and delight. "These are really good!" He turned to Y/N, his expression softening. "Thank you, Y/N. This really means a lot."
Y/N smiled, feeling a warmth spread through her chest. "Youâve had a rough race and I know how much you love these."
Lando reached out and pulled her into a hug. "Youâre the best, you know that? And Max," he added, glancing over her shoulder at their friend, "youâre alright too."
Max chuckled, waving off the compliment. "I try."
As they sat down at the table Lando couldnât stop smiling. The spring rolls were more than just food, they were a reminder of how much Y/N cared about him. He picked up another one, savoring the taste, and looked over at her with a softness in his eyes that hadnât been there earlier.
"You know," Lando said, his voice thick with emotion. "Iâve been feeling pretty low after this weekend and this⌠this is exactly what I needed."
Y/N smiled, her heart swelling with warmth. "I'm just glad you like them, I was worried they'd turn out horrible."
"Theyâre perfect," Lando reassured her grabbing her hand, his gaze never leaving hers.
Max, who had been watching the exchange with a smirk, finally chimed in. "You know, Lando, this whole thing was Y/Nâs idea from the start. She was determined to make these for you, no matter what. I was just here to stop the kitchen from burning down. She even got a bit emotional when things werenât going right."
Y/N shot Max a playful glare but Landoâs expression softened even more. "You really did all this⌠for me?"
Y/N nodded, feeling a bit shy under his intense gaze. "Of course, I did. You mean a lot to me, Lando. I couldnât just sit back and do nothing after the weekend you had."
Lando let go of her hand, but only so he could pull her into a tight hug. "Thank you, Y/N. For everything. You always know how to make me feel better, even when I donât deserve it."
Y/N hugged him back, resting her head on his shoulder. "You always deserve it, Lando."
Max watched them with a grin, leaning back in his chair. "Well, Iâd say my work here is done. You two are disgustingly cute, you know that?"
Lando laughed, finally releasing Y/N but keeping one arm around her shoulders. "Youâre just jealous, Max."
Max pretended to think about it for a moment before shaking his head. "Nah, Iâm just happy I got a free meal out of it."
Y/N rolled her eyes but she couldnât help laughing along with them. Lando kept sneaking glances at Y/N, his heart full of appreciation for her. He couldnât believe how lucky he was to have someone who cared about him so deeply, someone who would go through so much effort just to see him smile.
