Brusha was sitting on her art stool mixing her paints. Red paint splattered over her apron. Gigi had commissioned Brusha to draw her. Brusha painted slowly, the brush strokes colouring the canvas a deep red.
A ringing echoed from her living room, her rotary phone was ringing. Brusha skipped over to the phone to hear a familiar voice from the phone.
“B…brusha… are you there?”
Brusha froze. Tisha was calling her. This was the first time in almost a year.
“What do you want.”
Brusha was scared. Actually scared. She was very rarely scared but this… hearing her voice after what happened… This was terrifying.
“I need help and I didn't know who to call. Let me explain”
Tisha was ironing out some of her dresses until she heard a light knock on the door of her room.
“Hey tisha… could I talk to you for a bit?”
Tisha opened the door to see dandy, worried, standing outside her room. She welcomed him in and slowly continued ironing.
“Tisha?”
“Yeah.”
“The toon handlers disappeared.”
“What!?!”
Tisha turned around quickly, iron in hand.
“They left me in charge to tell everyone that there are no rules. Like for the next 2 days. Anything is allowed. Murder. Theft. Violence. Anything!”
Tisha froze. Her eye twitched slightly thinking about everything that could go wrong. It would be her job to clean up the chaos left behind. She couldn't let dandy tell anyone about this.
“Dandy. You can't tell anyone.”
“I knew you would say that. I have to tell them tisha. I'm sorry.”
Tisha was breathing heavily. Without thinking she swung hand back and hit dandy across the face with the burning hot iron. Dandy yelled out in pain as he started to burn away. The burn from the iron was spreading slowly burning his petals to a crisp. Tisha could do nothing but stand there.
What she did was technically allowed but the only way she could get away with it was to tell everyone what dandy told her which was what she was trying to avoid in the first place. Plus, even if it was allowed it was still wrong to…. Do that.
The realization hit like a brick to the face. Tisha had killed someone. Tisha had killed Dandy. She didn't know what to do. She picked up her phone and dialed the first number she could think of.
“B…brusha are you there?”
Brusha found herself knocking on a door she swore she’d never knock on again. The door swung open and sure enough dandy was on the floor in a puddle of ashes, mangled flesh and blood. Busha grabbed the body and stuffed it into a large bag.
Tisha was sitting on her bed hyperventilating and shaking, staring at dandy.
Brusha hoisted the bag over her shoulder and grabbed a shovel from Tisha's closet of cleaning supplies.
“Clean up this mess. It's all you're good for.”
Tisha didn't move so Brusha shrugged and went to bury the body in the garden outside.
Brusha was confused. Why didn't Tisha want everyone to know that everything was allowed for the next two days.
She was digging out the hole in the garden when she heard a loud scream from behind her. Astro had snuck up on her and opened the bag. Astro grabbed brusha’s hair and threw her to the ground.
“WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK BRUSHA! WHAT DID YOU DO! WHY!”
Brusha sighed and explained everything. What tisha did, how it was an accident and how it was legal now. Astro stood. Shell shocked.
“He’s just dead now….”
“Yeah pretty much.”
Brusha pushed the body into the hole and started to cover it up. Astro was crying over dandy's ‘grave’ if it could be called that. Brusha stood up and left only to see that astro had disappeared.
Brusha was going to knock on Tisha's door again only to find it was ajar. The blood on the floor was cleaned and pinned against the wall with a knife to her throat was tisha. Astro had tears streaming down his face as he held the knife to Tisha’s throat.
“Why did you do it.”
“It was an acciden-”
“Why did you do it.”
Brusha hit astro across the head with tisha’s broomstick. He fell unconscious.
“He won’t be like that for long. Let’s get out of here”
Brusha said, grabbing Tisha’s hand. Tisha snatched her broom and ran out of the room without another word.Before Brusha followed her she scribbled a note and shoved it into her pocket. The note read; you have two days. The toon handlers are gone. Anything is legal. Let the purge begin.
Brusha caught up to Tisha and the two walked in silence for a couple of minutes until they passed the notice board where Brusha pasted up the note she wrote.
“Thank you. For showing up. For burying dandy. For dealing with astro.”
Tisha said, shuffling her feet.
“Looks like you owe me one.”
“I do, I really do.”
Tisha was on the verge of tears.
“Cmon tisha, we need to go. If I know anything about astro he’s going to tell sprout and the others that you killed dandy and he’s going to want revenge. We need to make sure we survive two days until they can’t hurt you anymore. And we’re gonna need more than a broomstick to do that.”
Tisha looked down at the broom in her hand
“Oh.”
Tisha looked deep in thought
“You know how it’s really dangerous below gardenveiw… what if we hid there. I don't think the others would be able to find us”
“Too fucking late. Murderer.”
vee vision had appeared out of one of the cameras in the main room holding a spear, buzzing with electricity, menacingly.
“You know I heard murder was legal now, huh? don't think I'm scared to stoop down to your level, tissues.”
“Ummm. brusha i think thats our que to leave!”
Vee charged at the two, she stabbed Brusha in the arm and twisted herself around to sink her spear into tisha before she collapsed at the impact of Brusha ripping out her tail from her back.
“OW! FUCK! WHAT WAS THAT FOR! YOU POORLY MADE SPLINTER!”
Oil was spilling onto the floor out of the wound on Vee's back. Suddenly Vee’s spear was pierced through her chest, tisha holding the weapon. She pulled the spear out of vee and ran into the nearest elevator, grabbing Brusha and pulling her in.
“Holy shit. Did you kill her?!”
Brusha was shocked but pleasantly surprised.
“No i didn't fucking kill her. I missed her vitals, plus she’s a robot, she won't die that quickly. It's for the best though. I don't want anyone else to die at my hand. Puts more of a target on my back.”
The elevator doors slid open on the first floor and the two girls descended into the darkness prepared to face whatever challenge awaits them over the course of two days.

Cast: King dandicus dandifer: father of sprout and shelly
Queen poppy dandifer: Dandy's wife and mother to sprout and shelly
Prince sprout dandifer: Dandy's son and betrothed to astro. Eldest son and next in line for the throne.
Astro, Duke of gardenveiw: betrothed to Prince sprout dandifer
Princess shelly dandifer: daughter of dandy and poppy. Due to be married to one of two sutours
Vee vision: one of the two sutours arranged to marry shelly
Tisha: the second of the two sutours arranged to marry shelly, she has won dandicus's favor as the prefered wife for shelly.
Cosmo: a knight of Prince sprout and the secret lover of princess shelly.
Dandy sat atop his throne-like chair in the courtroom. He was here to decide a wife for his daughter, shelly. When it came to shelly, dandy really couldn't care less. Unlike sprout shelly was the youngest daughter and not heir to the throne. Additionally shelly was... Bland and uninteresting in every way possible.
Dandy let his gaze wander over to the two sutours arranged to marry his daughter. Tisha, she was a kind young woman, caring and sweet but otherwise plain, a seemingly perfect match for his equally boring daughter. The other sutor stood tall in the courtroom and dandy had to blink twice to make sure he wasn't dreaming. Vee vision stood in the centre of the room.
Vee was known for being an uncouth and rebellious woman always causing trouble with the dandifer family.Dandy was about to stand and intergect, but before he could judge bobbete made her final verdict. "The girl will choose who she wishes to marry."
Shelly felt conflicted, on one hand her father would want her to marry Tisha but her brother would want her to marry vee, vee being a close friend to both him and his fiancee astro. Dispite this, shelly had other plans. Both vee and Tisha were close friends of hers but she really didn't like them like that.
Unbeknownst to both suitors shelly was in love with a humble knight who worked under her brother sprout. Cosmo was a charming young man and was the only person shelly could imagine marrying. "I can't choose." Shelly declared.
Dandy could see his daughters distress and had been coming up with a plan. Vee vision was a tyrant and would not survive two seconds down in the dungeons below gardenveiw palace so if dandy were to propose a competition between vee and Tisha, who could survive the longest, Tisha would surely prevail. "I say send both girls to the dungeons below and whoever survives will marry shelly!" murmurs of agreement echoed around the room.
Panic sinked into Shelly's chest as she realised that she would be leading one of her best friends to their death. The court had decided.
"Shame you had to die, tissues." Vee mocked
"Game on you potato powered Dyson Hoover" Tisha smirked
Vee raised an eyebrow "I thought you liked cleaning supplies"
Before Tisha could respond, judge bobette cleared her throat. The two girls went red as they both seemed to notice they were standing in the middle of a court room.
Dandy burst out in laughter. shelly just stood there, frozen, this is the last time she would see one of them. Bobbete's advisor, ginger stood up. "If the girls wish to compete they can, but if either wish to forfeit now please speak." Both vee and Tisha stayed silent.
The metal doors slammed open. Vee spun her tail and a loud buzzing sound echoed through the halls. it bounced off corners lighting up the creatures roaming the halls along with the containers that needed to be filled in order to operate the elevator.
Tisha was shocked, but not because of vee's silly little light trick, she was appalled at the state of the dungeon. She pulled out her mop and mopped the floor, suddenly vee started gliding across the halls down to the first container.
"Thanks boxhead! Be useful and distract the monsters for me!" Vee called out
"Don't tell me what to do! I was gonna do that anyway!" Tisha huffed and trudged off to where vee had lit up the creatures.
It had been just over an hour since the two were sent down. "Vee, what floor are we on?" Tisha asked
"twenty two. Why?" Vee responded
"sorry I just lost count"
"makes sense given your head is mostly air" vee shrugged as she spun her microphone for the twenty second time.
Tisha was skating down the vast empty dungeon, pushing her mop in front of her to wet the floor, sliding ahead of the creatures behind her. She looked back to do a quick head count "1...2...3....." She mumbled realising she had lost one. Sprinting around a corner she saw vee, pressed up against the wall flicking her tail violently to stop the monster from attacking. Without a second thought, Tisha snapped off the tip of her mop and sent it flying towards the evil version of the villager shrimpo. "Hey! Tempura! Get your dirty hands off the Nintendo Wii!"
In the elevator after that level the two stared at each other, "I'm sorry vee I shouldn't have let him get away"
"no I'm sorry for making you distract them, you are doing infinitely more work then I am."
"Whatever you say, Samsung refrigerator."
"Oh c'mon I was being nice!"
Tisha was getting tired, for some reason no machines were being done. She decided to check on vee. As she was about to enter the room she heard a loud crunch, as a black, inky hand snapped vee's leg like a twig. Tisha gasped and grabbed vee, picking her up and propping her up against the wall.
Vee was breathing heavily, static fizz echoed through the room. "Vee. Vee, look at me, it's gonna be ok I promise. Curse you blot, you stupid jester." Tisha was panicking, thick black oil was spilling out from vee's broken leg.
Tisha stopped. She started to rip out the hair from her head, wrapping each thick tissue around vee's leg like a cast untill nothing but stubbes of cloth remain from where her hair used to be. Tisha felt light-headed, she could pass out at any moment but she needed to make sure vee was ok. Tisha stumbled across the room to the machine vee was doing before blot appeared. She twisted the wheel slowly until a ding sounded and the elevator doors opened.
Tisha carried vee over to the elevator and plopped her down on the cold metal floor. Vee blinked open her eyes to see Tisha, pacing around a small hallway nervously. "Tisha?" Vee called out and Tisha jumped. "Vee!" Tisha hugged her tightly "I thought you'd die! Oh my goodness it worked. How is your leg?" "Wait what worked?" Vee looked down to see her leg wrapped in stacks of tissues and Tisha's hair only small spikes of leftover paper. Vee was speechless.
Vee pulled her tail up to her mouth and yelled into the microphone "WE FORFEIT!"
A brief moment of silence occurred untill queen poppy, king dandy, Prince sprout and princess shelly appeared out of the elevator. Shelly rushed to greet them "thank goodness you are both still alive I am so sorry!" The girls both mumbled some variation of "it's ok".
Poppy tilted her head in confusion "if both of you are still alive who will marry shelly?"
"Neither of them mother!" Shelly declared "for I love Cosmo! The knight! and I will marry my love or not marry at all!" Sprout looked confused "if you wish to marry my friend, you have my blessing but why would you wish to marry Cosmo?" Shelly looked somewhat offended "he is the love of my life and-" "I have no problems with it" dandy interjected.
Multiple words flashed across vee's screen and Tisha nodded the words read; let's go, those Basterds left us here so let's leave them.
The two rushed into the elevator and as the doors were about to close, astro, Duke of gardenveiw and sprout's fiancee stopped the doors in place. He had been hidden in the back of the elevator. Astro politely waved that the rest of the royal Family enter the elevator and they all began their accent.
Sprout and astro were wed in the next week and shelly and Cosmo lived happily untill their marriage months later. Tisha and vee moved to the countryside together. they got proper treatment for vee's leg. Vee had sewn a patchwork blanket to replace the tissues that Tisha had lost saving her life. The two had fallen in love over the time they spent together and had long forgotten about shelly and the royal Family.
ok so I'm gon a write the first part of my dw au, think of this as the first chapter of a small fanfiction.
Shrimpo's voice echoed through the crowded room "dandy created this program to teach us how to survive down there, some of us have been 'training' for years and what to show for it? I say we go down there tonight. With dandys permission or without." Boxten raised a shaking hand "me and Connie only have a year left of training plus it sounds like a bad idea for us to go alone." "Well I'm down for it" Connie said shrugging her shoulders. Boxten shot her a look of betrayal as one by one the other people on the room nodded along to shrimpo's plan.
Finn stood up and pointed to a blackboard in the corner of the room "To get below gardenveiw we are going to need to take the elevator. The safest time to do this is tonight. Astro will be on night shift, but I have an idea."
"heyyyyy astro, um I may have kinda sorta swapped sprout's cake icing with paint.... Dandy told me to do the night shift with you as a punishment for now." Connie lied.
Scraps flicked her tail as a signal to the others and they all rushed towards the elevator. Connie and astro were talking in the corner.
"well nice talking to you but I'd better go off to bed now... Umm cya bye!" Connie disappeared out of thin air. She made a break for the elevator and slipped through the doors as they closed.
so pretty much Dandy decides to start a scouts program to teach younger toons how to explore the depths of gardenveiw and eventually become the next generation of main toons ( I tampered with some ages so they will be included below) the toons included in the program (from youngest to oldest) are: gourdy, toodles, shrimpo, Finn, scraps, goob, boxten, Connie. Against All judgement from dandy and the other scout leaders they decide to go into the elevator on their own. And then Some stuff happens that I will talk about later.
So yeah here is a doodle that I drew in one of my school books about something that happens later in the au (it's Finn and gourdy)
