Stefan was standing there, his world was clearer and what he wanted was clearer then ever, he had been a guy who had watched his best mate fall in love before but never the person who had that, he knew he had messed up but he was going to try and fix things. “No that’s not..I’m sorry I didn’t mean that. I am not good at these things, trying to you know win someone back. I know I did, but Katherine, I never meant to make you feel like that, I never wanted to do that too you. I wanted you, I wanted to be with you and I wanted to be the guy for you but I just couldn’t do it, I struggled, I struggle to open up and I struggled to believe that anyone could help me, but I am not that person anymore.” He sighed looking down, “I got the help I needed.” He sighed as he ran a hand through his hair for a moment and nodded, “It took going to rehab and being away from you to realise that, but I do love you Katherine Wilson and I know it’s going to be hard for you to forgive me but I need you to know how I feel and I needed to tell you!” He sighed as he ran a hand through his hair again for a moment, “Well if you let me, can I please take you for dinner tonight. You can tell me what’s been going on with you and everything.”

Katherine didn;t know what to do but she stood there looking over at him, she didn’t know what to do or what to think because the whole idea of them two together was all that she thought about for ages but she was getting used to him being gone that he had moved or gone whereever. Now she was faced with him again, “Well if you’re not good at it, why the hell are you doing it. Yeah but what’s worst of all you pushed me away no matter what I did and I told you and kept telling you no matter what you thought and you still didn’t listen.” She sighed for a moment listening to him go on and on, hearing the words, she felt tears running down her face, she didnt know what to do or what was going on because she felt like she wasn’t there anymore and she was just falling, “You really love me then?” She asked as she felt like she could get words out, “Take me for dinner? Erm, sure, you can do that.” She sighed for a bit biting her lip for a moment.

Stefan was trying to feel like he had done the right thing coming back, not matter if he could see the hurt in the girls eyes and knew she wasn’t feeling that happy about him being there. But seeing her face made his heart skip a beat, why he thought it was a good idea to hurt the girl in the first place he didn’t know. He sighed looking over at her for a moment, “Katherine! I have a lot explaining to do to you I know and i will explain a lot. But I haven’t stopped thinking about you ever since I left. I know you have given me so many chances in the past and you helped me out through a bad time. But please give me a chance to explain myself. You are the only person I think about. I might have slept with another girl to lose my virginity, but I was also drunk and back then I told you not to fall or me, not to have feelings for me because I was going to end up hurting you. But then I came back because  I wanted you and hoped you wanted the same and then I left o go rehab.” He sighed getting slightly closer to the girl. “Look I know I have hurt you and I know you’ve been hurt in the past but I need you to know I love you Katherine Wilson and I will do anything to make things better.”

Katherine was standing there, she could walk away from him, she ignore the fact that he is there and the fact that it was bothering her but she couldn’t, she knew she wanted to hear his explanation. “So now you’re blaming me for getting myself hurt? Stefan, that is wrong, that is your fault what you did was wrong and no matter what you said, you acted differently to me so you led me on back then.” She sighed and looked down for a moment and shook her head in shock, it made her feel sick, she couldn’t accept that, “You.. You love me.. What the?” She just said looking down, she moved closer to then just sit on the floor like she used to and put her head in her hands. “Like what? You’re definitely clean then?”

Stefan stood in the spot where he had been standing, he felt nervous, after ditching Katherine with a letter whilst he went off to rehab and not speak to her for ages. He had no clue how she would react and he couldn’t do what he always did to her. As he stood there he heard a voice and looked around and smiled briefly at the girl, the girl he knew he loved. “Katherine.” He stated as he put a hand through his hair, “Wow, it is really good to see you.” he sighed, “Well I knew if you knew you were meeting me you wouldn’t have come, so with the help of Colton, I told him to tell you he was meeting you. I am here to talk to you. I need to. I missed you.” 

Katherine was standing there, she felt like she was frozen and she couldn’t get away, she thought he had left for good, how comes he was back, how comes he was back in the spot she always went to relax. Hearing his voice she took a step back for a moment running a hand through her hair. She was trying to find her way of speaking but was having trouble right now. “You’re right if I knew it was you, I wouldn’t have come. Why do you want to talk to me Stefan? Why? You left me an eight page letter instead of saying Goodbye. After everything you put me through, chucking me out every time I tried to help. Let me fall for you but then you sleep with some random stranger to lose your virginity and then fix things with me to then just take off. How could you? Now you’re back because what? You missed me? I’m laughing.” She sighed looking down.

Stefan hadn’t been back to Lima, since the time he went to get help with his alcohol problem, he probably wouldn’t have returned if it wasn’t that he was still in love with Katherine, all through the time he was in Lima with the problem she  was the only one who stood by his side and tried to help him. He left her for the fact that he wanted to get help, he wanted to go back to his parents but he only left with a letter to Katherine, he didn’t go say goodbye to her, so the last time he saw her was Thanksgiving when they went for a walk in the park and that was about seven months ago. He was worried turning up back home, Katherine was going to hate him and it was going to be a waste of time. 

As Stefan returned home, he needed to find Katherine, it was the only reason he came home, so he texted Colton, his best mate to get Katherine to think she was meeting Colton at the park. He waited at the park, hoping that she would turn up and he could speak to her and find out if they could get things working again. 

Katherine had been going through a whirlwind of emotions for the last few months, she spent it just writing songs and working, after her walk in the park with Stefan about seven months ago, she actually didn’t know how to move on from him and she didn’t want to no matter how much he had hurt her by walking off and just leaving a letter for her to read. She tried her hardest to be the girl, the kind hearted girl who cared about every one and tried her hardest to look after everyone and everything she did to help Stefan had been thrown in her face, with first of all him getting angry when she first tried to help. Then he pissed her off by telling her that he liked her and kissed her then he went off and slept with some girl to lose his virginity that she fell for it every time and she went back to helping him and felt like everything she did was a waste of time.

Katherine was told by Colton to meet him at the park, she hadn’t seen him in a long time and it would have been nice to see how things were working with Barbra. As she went to the spot he told her to meet she saw someone standing  there who wasn’t Colton so she stood there for a moment before moving over to see who it really was. “Stefan..? What are you doing here?”
