With the help of Google and Microsoft, Nas will be providing tech scholarships for students looking to work with General Assembly, a coding boot camp with locations across the United States. The scholarship is designed to help fund the educational expenses of individuals who are often not represented in the coding industry. “Education, careers and opportunities in technology should not be limited to any one demographic, and I’m happy to support minorities who will see doors open to them as a result of participation in this program.” - Nas Nas' company Queensbridge Venture Partners will fund the scholarships and help get more minorities into the software engineering field.
