hey if you identify as a woman and you don’t shave your legs everyday and let your stubble grow free and natural for long periods of time could you reblog or like this post, I’m trying to make a point here, cause apparently I’m a weirdo for not shaving for weeks or months at a time
You've been kidnapped but the main character of the last TV show you watched is coming to rescue you.
Who’s rescuing you?
Habaek is coming for me ??!! 😁
No Ji Wook, baby! Hehe. Awesome.
No cut kiss scene -suspicious partner 😊😊😊

Real life conversations, real life situations! Preach father in law!
Ep 9. Who doesn't want to wake up next to Mark? What a lovely visual.
Ep 9.
Jee loses her grandmother. With a previous request for sathit not to show up, jee continues to look for him throughout the funeral. As she’s running away from little kids who recognize her as a celebrity, sathit swoops her away into the bushes so she doesn’t get discovered. He automatically pulls her into an embrace as to hide her face although the bushes are much taller than they both are. When jee realizes that it’s sathit, she can’t help but feel even more emotional. The one other person who knew and cared for her grandmother has shown up. She lets it slip out that she wants to stay there in hiding with him. But with the silence between them, she quickly corrects herself and states she wants to be there alone. He sees how much pain she is in, caves and pulls her into another embrace. With some hesitance of knowingly getting closer to her, he brushes it aside and holds her tightly so as to help share the pain with her
As for jee…..at this point she already knows what he means to her. Without any second thoughts, she wanted to stay in his arms and feel his warm embrace. She was weary that he may have not wanted the same thing but I’m glad he did. Credits to sjdk fan club for the subs!
Kluen Cheewit-Waves of Life
Oh boy. I have definitely been sucked into the life of Thai lakorns again. I often fall into certain drama watching phases. I can get pulled into Japanese dramas for a period of time then switch to Chinese dramas, then to Indian movies to Thai lakorns. I can proudly say that within the last few months I have been unable to resist Thai lakorns. I had found out that Kluen Cheewit was out and I was ecstatic! Last year, I had been patiently waiting for Yaya and Nadech’s lakorn to come out so I had stopped watching Thai lakorns as a way to keep me from going insane with the wait period. Thank goodness I waited although I have some regret finding out about the airing of Kluen Cheewit.
Kluen cheewit is a remake of the original that was done in 1995. I had not watched the 1995 version but on LoveFia’s blog, I found out that I am okay with not having watched it. There were some pretty hard-to-swallow and triggering content that I hope they switch up in this version.
The premise of this lakorn is centered around thai celebrity Jeerawat. She has a dysfunctional family with her mother who has a reputation to uphold and past to hide that leads to her barely being a good mother and then the step-father who is trying to rape her- just to cut to the chase. One night at a party, her stepfather ends up drugging her as she makes her way to the car. She escapes and started driving away into the city and ends up hitting Sathit’s (Mark Prin) fiance when the drug settles into her system and her vision starts to blur. Sathit was talking to his fiance on the phone right before she got hit and heard Jee’s voice as she apologized to his fiance. Jeerawat does not get put in jail for the accident as her mother and manager secretly covers up the accident. Sathit is set on finding evidence to bring justice to his fiance and put Jee behind bars for the crime she committed.
I don’t know how much will be spoilers so read at your own risk.
It’s been one heck of a ride watching Jee and Sathit cross paths. Jeerawat’s character gets fleshed out really neatly as you start to see different sides to her. She is a strong and powerful individual who does not like to rely on others to cover up for her mistakes. She appears very strong on the outside and can appear very standoffish to those who don’t know her personally. She is a very genuine and caring person who fights for the ones that she loves dearly.
The writing for the story has flowed so well. Sathit has been a one sided character who fights for justice but in this particular case has been blinded by his love for his fiance. It’s been amazing to see how he gets introduced to the different sides of Jeerawat. He becomes so confused about who she really is because he gets to witness her at her best and her worst. He’s been thrown in so many different situations with Jeerawat tagging right along that he can’t pinpoint what her motives are. But at the end of the day, he can’t seem to grapple with the nature of her kindness and pure heart. He starts to see that she does have a dysfunctional relationship with her mother, one that he did not expect. He witnesses her attempts to save his life and jump in front of a bullet. He falls in love with the woman who has been through life and death with him and almost pushes through the fact that she did indeed kill his fiance, whether it be by accident. The revelation through his actions and eyes is so heartwarming and melts my heart away. The small gestures that audiences gets to view as he slowly start to open up his heart to her. The acceptance he comes to realize when he looks her in the eyes and pulls her in for an embrace.
[Favorite Dramas of 2016] Go Ho’s Starry Night
This was such a pleasant and unexpected find. I absolutely loved everything about: the female leads character and the main guys character arc and love story revelation. It was such a perfect romantic short drama.

In Defense of Wang So: Scarlet Heart’s Controversial Kiss
Just putting in my two cents. I’ve been reading a lot of backlash for the kiss that happened in the most recent episode of Moon Lovers Scarlet Heart: Ryeo (a.k.a. “the longest title ever”, but I digress) between Hae So (IU) and Wang So (Lee Jun Ki). While I totally understand the distaste that a viewer might have for a forced kiss, or any kiss done under duress, I want to step in and just offer a little perspective.
I think you need to consider that this is NOT a modern romance, in which all the societal rules, and norms regarding femininity, masculinity, and romance are understood. For a man in a Sageuk to claim a woman as “his” and “his property” is a statement that carries some latent truth — for men to “claim” a woman would have been routine in the time period of the drama, so while seen through a modern scope, he appears sexist or misogynistic in actuality, he is no more sexist than Wang Wook (Kang Ha Neul) — who technically has also “claimed her”. They aren’t exactly two opposite sides of one coin in terms of their interactions with So, since this isn’t good vs evil between them, but civility vs savagery.
That brings me to another point. The characterization of Wang So. Here is a man, who has opposing realities — 1) he justifies corporal violence at every turn, but 2) is deeply and emotionally weakened by his scar and the neglect and hatred in represents. Instead of receiving familial love, he has received scorn and has internalized this. Where Wook and the others were generally loved by their parents, So was quite deliberately treated like a dog — a savage beast trained to kill. For So, he doesn’t just bite out of hatred for his master, but because like any dog in a dog fight, he has equated respect and love to what he could do for his master. When he goes to his mother after he has killed the men she and her son hire to dispatch the crown prince, So does it because violence is the only thing he can show to receive affection. It backfires spectacularly, but when all the tools laid out in front of are that you must take or else be taken, there isn’t much of an alternative.
So for his relationship with Hae So, he is (for the first time) not solidly in control of the outcome of his actions. He desperately wants to love someone, and have them love him, so the fact that he cannot make So react in the same way as he is reacting, is frustrating. Force is all he knows, so I don’t think it’s disrespect for Hae So that drives him to force himself upon her and claim her as “his” but desperation.
That’s hard wired in the character, in the performance, and in the writing. How that savagery is broken down, and healed is what I look forward to most. Wang So is as pitiful a character as it gets, and as a viewer, I am able to recognize his savage behavior and yet have some forgiveness and compassion for him. I think Hae So will too, eventually.
So I think it is abundantly necessary to step back and look at the context of the world that these characters live in — women’s rights, marriage for love, freedom from persecution and violence — none of these are commonplace, and they certainly aren’t absolutes. Just like it’s jarring for the audience to see these characters go to such lengths to protect what they desire, this truth is now becoming clearer to our heroine, and she must decide if she can, or even should, help to set it right.
Don’t hate me.

I don’t understand why people are so upset with this kiss. There are many modern dramas where the male leads are still jerks and have forced many kisses. What’s the big deal here? There have been worst force kisses than this one. I'm not saying I like forced kisses either but It’s nothing new for Kdrama world.
This was an extremely beautiful scene.
I love him.
“I asked if you saw.”
