A Quiet Kind Of Thunder ⛈

sometimes I feel so overwhelmed with the thought that I might die without giving the Quran more of me, without loving it more, without knowing it more, without living by it, without learning it's secrets, and without tasting a life filled with it's light and blessings.

good deeds decrease sadness. so kiss your mother, help your father out, drop that salaam to a stranger, insert a little bit more money into the mosque’s charity box, send some sweets over to your neighbours, give a cat some snacks. and above all, do it for Allah with the sincerest intention. you’ll feel that contentment soon the more you pile those small, but beautiful acts of worship up.

It's not your job to be likable; it's not your job to go around fixing the lies that were told about you. Don't clear up anything. Let people be wrong about you. Ignorance is bliss. Your only job is to be yourself, and the right people will gravitate towards you.
