[OUT OF CHARACTER LORE POST] THE GIST: Pine Ridge is a seriously small town in Colorado, nestled amidst the tall trees. Everyone knows everyone, and one could call it pretty humble. Of course, there is one thing that makes it rather peculiar... In 1992, a group of people enacted the Ritual that tore the veil--what separates the paranormal from the normal--apart. Although the veil was already quite thin within the town, this event made it even worse. Now, most civilians aren't even surprised anymore to see a hulking werewolf ordering a latte at the local Tom's Diner. The odd has become the norm. Even the organizations meant to contain these things, the DPNA/DOA (Department of Paranormal Affairs/Department of Anomalies) are lazy in what they do. The whole situation has made Pine Ridge *infested* with paranormal investigators and detectives in general. Some are too curious for their own good. OTHER STUFF: Pine Ridge is NOT my original work!
