I got curious, so I decided to dig up some of my old artwork featuring my character, the one I'd based on Caleb. At the time, I was really annoyed by the "same face syndrome," and I thought I needed to find people to base my characters on. Caleb was the first one I found… I found some fragments from "Antivirus" and thought, "I need to know what this is!" (If only I'd known how it would end…) These pieces were created a year ago, and they were my first attempts at semi-realism… well, by the way, some of them are much better than my current work.
There's one thing that pissed me off, so I'll leave it here, ok
Why the fuck do Caleb's fans use so much AI? Why do all my recommendations on TT (and elsewhere) consist of AI-animated photos of him? Oh my god, take away these people's AI. First, there were AI photos of people standing next to Caleb (this was when Dracula was released), then there were just cringe-worthy AI videos (someone was comparing Dracula from different projects). After that, they started altering his appearance with AI, which flooded Pinterest, and finally, this bullshit! Who are they doing this for, why, and for what reason? That's not quite right to say, because I don't think he even sees any fan content about himself, but like... how are people trying to impress a creative person by generating AI content?
What's the essence, the purpose, the logic?
