jean moreau and neil josten parallels might be death of me. how they were meant to have each other's numbers. misplaced forever partners. neil was jean's unfulfilled promise. how jean was always there to pick neil back up again during his stay in evermore. how jean and neil were the same in the eyes of the moriyamas. how one was scarred and burned with fire and the other was abused and conditioned with water. how fierce and gentle neil is with jean despite knowing him for a couple of weeks max. how they understand each other on a level that maybe no one else can. jeanneil you are SO real to me.

I acctually find it so funny that at one point in the writting process Jean and Neil were supposed to be making out in the Nest bc like WHEN? In the current version of the books neil is there for two weeks and from what it sounds like he is getting tortured 40% precent of the time and forced to play exy 70% precent of the time. Youre telling me that somehow those two managed to find time and space to be alone and have make out sessions? The orginazation, the dedication? Jeanneil you trully are something else

I bet Jean finding out about andreil broke his heart just a little his misplaced forever partner the boy who was supposed to be his better half in the nest is in a relationship with a man meaning Neil would’ve been capable of loving Jean back in the same way unlike Kevin who is either straight or doesn’t allow himself to act on his feelings but since Neil was never his all he has are what ifs and sometimes he looks at Andrew and thinks in another life it should’ve been him by Neil’s side this is not to say that Jean is in love with Neil but he could’ve been
