ARMY! I love you! This year as we went around the world, we received a lot of warm welcome. Everywhere we go, they were curious about you guys more than about us. They asked what kind of fandom this is and said the way you guys are so enthusiastic and like us so much is amazing. We believe we would absolutely not be able to receive those warm welcome and honor if it weren’t thanks to you guys. Thank you so much. “Singer of the year”, “Artist of the year”, these words has proved it. We will no longer be sad and hurt. We stand confident and proud. This year, I received unbelievable honor as a musician. From Billboard Music Awards to AMA, MAMA’s last performance, I think it’s only possible thanks to ARMY. Remember that time we were talking at 3 AM, and I said, “is there like, a hand gesture I can make that means the casual definition of that word, cuz I know I’m white and therefore can’t use that word, but man, sometimes things happen, and all you can do is a squinty glare, tilt your head, and say that word” and you fell over laughing at me and gave me my own hand sign that I’m allowed to use with you whenever one of those situations crops up.
