would you like a cup of tea?

“I... won’t attempt all those things, I assure you.” Mint was rather baffled by the latter’s words. Seems like he’s been chased with random stuff out there. Poor human.

When the latter had agreed on taking her along, a small relieved smile crept up Mint’s face. It was rather easy to miss, but the joy laced around her smile was radiating brightly. The young monster always liked adventures, especially if it’s something new.

“May I ask?” she spoke softly, catching up with the human- and maybe even forgetting to be wary of the latter. “What are the new things I’ll see in this new area? Are there flowers?” 

A smile immediately crossed Mint’s face as she recognized the latter in front of her. Joy sparked in her, as well as a feeling similar to nostalgia.

“I have, haven’t I?” she laughed softly, not sure how to explain it to Eight. Maybe some other time, or later. “I didn’t mean to though. Goodness, it’s really been that long?”

 He then allowed himself another sigh,  after  the monster had said they were not aware of the area  he spoke of  and that  as far as they knew, the only woods in the underground  were the lands of Snowdin…..   and  then asked him what  the forested area he spoke of was.    That caused  him  to smile  slightly  behind his mask.

“There are somethings your people  have yet to find down here,   I must admit,   but there are routes and ways  to get to such places  as the forest in which i dwell  and one such route is in this forest…  and the forested  area  I speak off  dwells  north  of   the Snowdin area,   in another,  unexplored Cavern  that  has more access to the  sun  and some of the other resources  needed for a forest  to thrive.”   he  spoke.    “Its quite the beautiful forest.”  he then quietly added.

Despite being wary of the human mage before her, Mint just couldn’t help but grow curious over his offer. A new forest area that she hasn’t heard of before? And a fellow willing to take her there? How could she say no?

“Promise before you life that you wouldn’t pull up any dirty human tricks, alright?” she says as she huffed. “I certainly do want to go along. It will help me... familiarize the area in case anyone gets lost there too.”

When he had spotted  the strange aura  and  had spoken,   he  had  been been partly  expecting   the strange aura   to pull some magic to them and perhaps cast something.  After all…  he was a figure clad  in green robes,  with vine  shaped  decorations   all across his  robs  and mask…  and  he did probably surprise them.  

He did,  however,   not  expect such a  blinding light  to  be the result of  the strangers  cast,   causing  him  to raise  one hand to cover  his  one  eye that was visible  despite his mask.    When they then spoke….  and lowered her magic,  just leaving  some magic  still visible….   that he spotted  as  he lowered  his hand from covering his eye.  

Caleb raised an eyebrow  when the stranger said that they actually lived  around there  and  that they should be the one to ask him that…  before then asking him how he ended up there.    That caused Caleb to chuckle.

“Human.” she breathed sharply, her magic cackling once more. Light was starting for radiate brighter in her palms, her defense obviously rising at the idea. Monsters are always wary of humans due to their bitter history with one another.

“I’m Mint. Mint the Glitch.” she stated out of respect. Well, the latter practically introduced himself to her, so she should too, right? Although... another forested area? That calls for the Snowdin woods to be a bridge towards it?

“I’m afraid that I’m not particular of this ‘area’ you speak of.” Mint said in a trying-to-be-brave tone. “As far as I know, the only woods in the Underground are the lands of Snowdin. What is this ‘forested area’ you speak of?”

*He liked this monster to be perfectly honest. She tried to be helpful. But how long would that last when she found out he was a human turned monster? Didn’t matter. at least not for now.*

“Oh dear, I was afraid you had one.” Mint breathed out as soon as she got a reply from the latter. “Do you know where they could be? Or ideas where they can be?”

Worry crept up her. If someone else was lost in the woods, she should act fast. The weather was worsening and it’s incredibly cold today. They could get frozen in no time!

She couldn’t help but cough at the smoke again before snickering, shaking her head in reply.

“I’ve actually been here a couple of times, but not typically here in Muffet’s” Mint replied with a grin.

“What about you? I’ve seen a few smoking skeleton monsters, but I’ve never actually seen one that closely resemble the blasters. ”

Pup looks over at her and smiled before shrugging. “heh, is that so? i’m betting g that my brother sees you around here.” he said as his tail swayed behind him.

Then again, if this one was a blaster-like monster, then the “brother” he’s referring to should be one too, right?

“Erm, I’m not really sure. I haven’t seen a Sans that’s, well,” she paused as she gestured at the latter weirdly, not being able to word the idea properly. “Looks similar to you.”
