Yes, 13 Detroit young people - 30 percent more than last year - will land with Mint this year, with your support. Our spring fundraiser on ioby features a double the donation - so please give now: https://ioby.org/project/youth-jobs-creativity

Mint Artists member Jessica Fligger is a rare artist. She’s in two of our programs, and in two new videos featuring her Paint Detroit with Generosity paintings. The paintings are on display at the Fisher Building, in the Fisher Bakery, through mid-afternoon Jan. 2. See the video and learn more in our new post.
Hope to see you on Sunday at Eastern Market, Shed 5. We will feature five artists selling creative work - two in the morning and three in the afternoon.

Meet our new marketing intern Journey. She also is part of the Mint Learn & Earn group. Read more about her here. Then please donate to Mint so we can continue to pay artists for creative work to learn and grow Mint and grow their careers.
Mint is excited to be part of Noel Night on Saturday with two Mint Alumni joining us and two of our current artists too. The alumni are TaNiah McQueen, who will offer mini canvases and handmade bookmarks, and Alexis Wright, who will offer paintings, some of them featuring rainbows.
Mint will be part of a group of Food Lab ethical food businesses and crafters who are setting up in Barth Hall in Cathedral Church of St. Paul, 4800 Woodward Ave. The church sets up a living nativity with animals outside and invites in a variety of musicians and musical groups, so it’s definitely worth a stop.
Visit us during Noel Night in Detroit on Saturday 1-7 pm. Or if you cannot make it on Saturday, stop in and see us on Sunday at Eastern Market.
Mint greeting cards are beautiful - and for sale at some beautiful venues, from the Detroit Institute of Arts to Germack Cafe to WSG Gallery In Ann Arbor. Learn more about our cards and our calendar in our new e-letter.
Eye On Detroit - Paint Detroit with Generosity
Mint is featured in a CBS Detroit’s Eye on Detroit. Read the back story on how we landed the story here.
Artists give back. And so do we. Please read our new blog post that shows three big ways we are generous, in Detroit.
And if you are feeling generous, stop by our Generosity Tea this afternoon, from 2-5. It’s inside the Fisher Bakery, 3011 W. Grand Blvd., and we are buying tea for the first 12 people who show up!

Hope to see you on Tuesday at the Fisher Bakery, inside the Fisher Building, for our first tea and conversation about generosity. And if you are feeling generous, please donate to Mint - either in our Giving Tuesday Facebook fundraiser or in our all the time donation space. We believe in generosity and with yours, we will give even more opportunities and art in 2020.
Visit Mint Artists Guild this Sunday at Eastern Market for our first of three pop ups. Our emerging artists will sell digital art - including work by Journey Shamily, shown with red hair, plus abstract paintings by Prince and characters by Bryan. Mint also will offer a free arts and crafts activity and will sell our holiday greeting cards - including the new poinsettia card - and a few other items. Join us this Sunday rom 10-4, or plan to attend on Dec. 8 or Dec. 22.
