 אמרו שלום למנכ”ל, למו”ל, ללקטורים, למנגנוני האדמיניסטרציה, הגביה, ההפצה, השיווק ויחסי הציבור. בשונה מהוצאות טיפוסיות, כאן הדינאמיקה הינה מיידית, קבוצתית ומנוהלת על פי קומבינציות ספונטאניות וחוקי משחק חדשים, שיימסרו במקום למשתתפים בחוויה מרחבית ויצירתית שהתוצר שלה הוא “ספר”.

הזמן הממוצע מסיום כתיבתו של ספר עד הוצאתו לאור הוא שנתיים. הסדנה באה לבדוק עד כמה יכול תהליך ההוצאה לאור להיות רזה? האם ניתן לצמצם את הפער ואת תהליך התיווך בין הספר לקהל עד המקסימום? מה קורה כאשר מרכזים את כלל אמצעי היצור והחומר האנושי הדרוש בחלל אחד, לזמן קצוב?

בסדנה ייבדקו כותבים, עורכים וגרפיקאים את תהליכי הכתיבה, העריכה, ההדפסה וההפצה לצד “פרפורמנס” של כתיבת ספר בו הקהל מוזמן לחזות ולהשתתף בחשיפת טבעה השרירותי של תעשיית המו”לות ובכיווץ רוחב מנגנון הייצור הרווח.

The publishing impulse is one of the main motivations of human culture. Public dissemination and expression is the central means by which knowledge, ideas, positions and worldviews are spread. Through public expression, the individual gains access to the dynamic arena of public discourse, where individuals and groups shape the cultural, social and political agenda. Throughout history, the urge to publish is amplified in periods of protest and revolution, and is transformed as a result of technological developments. The numerous panels in this conference will focus on the way in which contemporary culture constitutes the publishing subject and shapes new platforms and environments for the publishing act. This while changing the relationship between the author and the institutions responsible for the dissemination of information and granting new powers to the reader.
