They're trying to take trans and gay rights away (if they haven't already)

They're trying to remove black history teachings from public schools (if they haven't already) by calling it "white hate"

They already removed the acknowledgment of black history month on a federal level so wtf do you think will be next...

They care nothing about the constant domestic terrorism by their own people by saying "these things happen" (imagine being someone who survived TWO campus sh**tings in one lifetime... yea)

Planes are literally falling out of the fucking sky

They're trying to take women's rights away (they already did so with removing DEI and abortion rights)

They want to deport anyone with a "Latin" name or who just so happens to be bilingual

They're causing trade wars with other countries that WE depend on which will only make inflation worse for people who are already struggling to make ends meet

The stock market is in the fucking gutter

They're back to blaming autism/neurodivergence on food and vaccines

They're trying to take away free lunch from ACTUAL CHILDREN (if they haven't already)

Fantastic breakdown of authoritarians and dictators throughout the world's history and how we are currently watching another rise to power in the US, Donald Trump.

This is why it's so important to remember that opinions aren't just opinions. These dictators' opinions became law. They became lives upended, lives lost. Families and generations and countries destroyed and still in recovery or in ruin. All because we are the wrong skin color, gender, sexuality, or religious belief.

Saying you support Trump is not an ambiguous statement. It is a declaration that you either 1) support his authoritarian regime and the destruction of the US, or 2) that you don't mind standing idly by as it happens because "the authoritarian isn't targeting me and mine."

This goes beyond Roman and his utter bullshit. It's about what you, yes you, are willing to overlook for your own reasons.

I understand it's hard letting go of someone you were/are a big fan of, but if you have any understanding of how malicious a man like Trump and his ideologies are to you or the people you love or people you don't even know but should care about because we're all human, you'll look at Joe/Roman with the same critical lens as you do Trump and choose not to support him.

Might post it as my lil farewell to him and that character because he is retired from this blog now.
