A black and white enlargment on photosensitive paper using objects instead of negatives. A kind of a rayogram/photogram, I guess. 

I’m trying to get as much detail as possible in the print, not just the outline...There is an interesting quality to these images, as they are not photographed on film before enlargement. Unfortunately, the print scan doesn’t do it justice.

The Animal

"Nie ma tego zlego co by na dobre nie wyszlo", as we say in polish (meaning that something good always comes out of even bad experiences).

While I wait for my new PC to arrive after someone stole my old one, I decided to go back to analog photography a bit more than usual and set up a darkroom in our bathroom.

This image comes from a paper negative, shot with a large format Sinar camera. 

This technique goes back all the way to the beginnings of photography when film (as we know it today) didn't exist yet. It basically means that a sheet of paper is used instead of a standard negative (film). This can lead to some interesting results, especially in landscape photography, since the paper is not sensitive to the same colors as the regular negative.
