Creating some simple 1:35 roads . Just using basic materials such as plaster, balsa wood, foam, construction glue and sand paper.
A bit of groundworks...using just basic items out of a 1 dollar store... o no thanks to Trump now a 2,5 dollar store...
Made some new back drops to...
A bit of foliage here and there and I call it quits...
Diorama nr.21 "R&R at the ringstand"
A diorama with a Flakfour 2cm and a Flak Ringstand. Posted a german crew which are enjoying a bit of rest and relaxation.
Diorama nr.37 The roadside tete a tete with the Kettenhunde.
Made at special request for a costumer who wanted this Admiral to accompany the Fuhrer's Mercedes he bought earlier. Made this street section myself.
Diorama nr.48 The 8th army in full attack.
An old Italeri Crusader with 8th army figurines on a desert diorama. The sfinx is probably an old Verlinden one and the dead German is homemade from spare parts.
A few extra pics...

Nr.341, The German Panzer 1 with 5 cm Pak cannon.
Made this little spitwicker from left over parts and bits. No historic reference what so ever!
Little tanks and tankettes small parts but lots of fun to build.... Made quite a few over the years here's a little selection.
Nr.307, The M10 Duckbill Tank destroyer or 3 inch Gun Motor Carriage.
The M10 tank destroyer, formally 3-inch Gun Motor Carriage, M10 was a United States tank destroyer of World War II based on the chassis of the M4 Sherman tank.
It was numerically the most important U.S. tank destroyer of World War II and combined a reasonably potent anti-tank weapon with a turreted platform (unlike the previous M3 GMC, whose gun was capable of only limited traverse).
Despite the introduction of more-powerful types as replacements, it remained in service until the end of the war. Some of those replacements were in fact modified and/or rebuilt from the M10 itself. This was a nice Akademy kit the only issue I had was the poor quality of the plastic.
I absolutely loved making these Flak cannons and these are only a few I've made. There won't be anymore new ones I'm afraid for my plastic glue sniffin days are over....
Just revisiting some of my older models/oddballs. Modelling is not just making a plastic kit and slapping on some paint no it's using your imagination and creating models out of discarded kits or just combining models to make a one off...

Diorama nr.16, Death from above / German Mortar Pit.
Recently finished this ww2 german mortar pit. Just used simple stuff, natural earth mixed with pva glue and static grass. The mortar crew came from Tamiya and the spotter came out of the spare box. Sandbags are made from kids clay.
Nr.309, The Panzer 4 Ausf.A. Balkan version.
Yes another panzer 4 this time an Italeri one. Not the most recent kit but with a little TLC you can make a decent model out of it. Stowage and figurines are optional....
Flaktanks had my interest since the start of my model-making business.
I just like the looks of them but I bet the Jabo's thought different of them...
And they came in a wide variety...
When you start modelling this is one of the models you might wanna use as a starting kit wether it's a Tamiya or a Trumpeter kit they are both easy to build and paint. They are also perfect for enhancing you're weathering skills.
They make also a good platform if you wanna do someting totally different like the ones below!
Time to do a Sherman headcount .
I'm counting 13 over a period of 12 years, but as with the Tigers and Panthers, these models left my workshop sometimes before I could take pictures.

Nr.348, The German Mercedes L4500 maultier.
The Mercedes-Benz L 4500 was a heavy duty truck by Mercedes-Benz. It was built by Daimler-Benz from 1939 – 1944 in the Mercedes-Benz plant Gaggenau,and from 1944 – 1945 by Saurer.
The vehicle is a long-bonnet truck and was offered as a rear-wheel-drive truck (L 4500 S) and as an all-wheel-drive truck (L 4500 A).
The German Wehrmacht used the L 4500 with armoured cabins as Flak trucks during World War II.
Due to the lack of production material, the cabin was replaced with the simplified standardised Wehrmacht cabin and the mudwings with simplified wings in 1943.
Also, the L 4500 chassis was used for the Sonderkraftfahrzeug 4.
Tiger tanks have also been one of my favorite WWII subjects.
I've made at least 18 of them, but I know for sure there have to be more. Especially the Tigers were sold before the paint was dry!
I could recover pictures of models and dioramas, so the count is stuck at 18. Unless I recover more pictures from old backups, this should be the final Tiger tank count.
