Back when Falin went into his dream? I honestly haven't given it much thought. Though the most likely scenario for me would be that he is dreaming of Maizuru's "hag/babysitting" spell. I think that scarred him a lot and comes up every now and then, even years later as childhood trauma does. The funniest one would be that he's going through the five hours+ talk from meeting Laios again and again... But yeah, hag/babysitting it is for me. I am really unsure what his unconscious or conscious fear could be from which the nightmare feeds. It's somehow much clearer with all other characters, but Shuro's kinda eludes me; he wants to be more expressive, more free, but he's living with these obligations and pressure, so his nightmare might also be a very metaphorical one with cages/chains/with people pressuring him into whatever they want/need him to be like...

I usually don't go there but thinking of the Monstersona brought this into my head.

An addition to "Monster Tidbits: Kensuke"... I willfully misconstrued Marcille's "I have a bad feeling about this" as them sending feathers to Shuro.
