its just crazy 2 me how even the most basic critiques on misogyny is combated by people who would rather make up people in their head to get mad at than actually read the words i say . But well thats just twitter i guess

twitter users vs reading comprehension oh my looorddd i made a post saying that a lot of the ways ppl talk ab transmasc headcanons end up reinforcing the idea that masculinity = more interior, complex, and subversive than femininity and how that's a misogynistic way of thinking that people should be more aware of & i'm getting replies from the transmasc brigade about how actually transmasculinity IS more subversive and complex than cis femininity even though i did not mention cis femininity even once. even in the case of cis femininity, if you genuinely believe your masculinity is more complex than a cis woman's relationship to her femininity (even if you want to use the strawman of a cis woman who strictly abides by societal ideas of femininity & practices choice feminism) you've already lost the plot completely.
