𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝑔𝑜𝓉 𝓂𝑒.

the moment soonyoung had left, his lungs filled to the brim with oxygen. there was nothing more suffocating than the aftermath of their relationship. as much as he’d want to protest, titus lets the other leave. another excuse to stay longer. it used to be easy spending time under the same roof, being domestic. the fire detector’s intolerable noise as titus sets flames to yet another pan he had purchased for ruining the last. the gentle scolding he’d receive from the other who would wonder when his boyfriend would stop cooking. the soft kisses pressed to soonyoung’s features as he tries to distract him from having messed up a romantic dinner. it was never serious with the two, they’d never really raise their voices in a way that hurt one another. only the walls they’d build would tear their heart apart bit by bit, unable to reconcile. wounds properly aided for, titus mentally curses at himself for enjoying the scent of soonyoung’s shirt far too much. one candle in hand, he’ll seat himself before one of the bowls absentmindedly. the expression on his face blank, doing his best not to wear his heart on his sleeve. anything but that. his focus moves to the scent from the candles, nothing pleasing but bearable he assumes. “you didn’t have to do all of this. it’s just me, soon.” leaning back into the chair as he lets himself look to the boy whose beauty shines even with the dimly lit candles. perhaps he’s staring for too long. so what, he thinks. “besides, you look like you need to eat more.” of course he’ll notice how the other’s face has lost some weight, he knows work kept soonyoung busy. “come sit, i’ll bring water and stuff.” was he being too obvious? the border between worried and friendly was thin for titus, he wasn’t really sure how to act around the boy. 

          ❝  what  did  i  tell  you  about  being  so  aggressive  in  the  morning  ?  it  turns  me  on  .  ❞  a  ridicule  in  his  ambience  which  quite  easily  riled  up  most  if  he’d  want  it  to  .  adonis  was  most  definitely  not  one  to  be  practical  ;  to  thoroughly  enjoy  life  would  mean  wreak  havoc  on  someone  else’s  .  pulled  in  by  jagger  ,  a  chuckle  slipped  from  his  mouth  for  a  moment  .  there  was  something  enticing  about  the  rage  which  sprouts  from  every  inch  of  his  ex  —  it  definitely  kept  adonis  lured  in  .  he  was  the  type  of  person  who  left  someone  with  no  closure  ,  it’s  not  like  he  himself  was  interested  in  it  .  somehow  ,  jagger  left  him  tiptoeing  around  his  own  edict  .  ❝  ugh  ,  this  shirt  is  worth  half  your  rent  ,  be  gentle  .  unless  you  missed  seeing  me  in  your  clothes  go  ahead  and  take  it  off  .  i  don’t  mind  sharing  .  ❞  if  he  was  a  bystander  ,  god  he  would  be  disgusted  with  himself  .  unfortunately  ,  this  is  the  way  adonis  has  shaped  himself  over  the  years  .  ❝  who  said  i  spent  the  night  with  her  ?  must  be  fun  thinking  of  me  and  jumping  to  conclusions  .  ❞  index  finger  gently  tracing  the  outline  of  his  bicep  with  a  mindless  hum  ,  ❝  anyway  ,  i’m  here  cause  i  missed  you  .  what’s  wrong  with  wanting  to  spend  a  morning  together  ,  babe  ?  ❞

it’s habitual at this time of night. the ache for comfort in his bed obstructed by his invariable decisions. adonis flashes a smile to the bartender, tapping the pads of his finger as he asks for another round. he’ll feel nauseated, but continue ingesting the liquid without complaint. adjacent would be an empty seat,  ‘ good, they’ll probably take a minute. ’  he thought to himself while scrolling through his contacts for the familiar number. several dial tones later and he’ll be forced to leave a voicemail along the lines of, “hey, you’re sleeping. i’ll call you again tomorrow if i can, but i’ll bring over breakfast. don’t go-” interrupted by slurred whining, “adonis take me hooome.” a scowl on his face as he finishes his sentence, “don’t go anywhere, i’ll be there in the morning.” and so, his words were spoken into existence. here adonis was the next morning, ringing the doorbell and hearing its familiar tune. “i still have the key, y’know, so even if you pretend you aren’t home i’ll let myself in.” he’ll say, leaning against the frame of the door, his infamous smirk painted onto his lips.
