A better look at what the balloons show and say

I couldn’t pick 1 so I did a comic cover-ish illustration showing some of my faves that I tend to always keep together.

Erica doesnt know that Kyle has a thing for her Kyle even doesnt really know since he lives in denial . To her Kyley B, like many of the jersey men she's seen, are just big flirts. So, Kyle's attention is because she's a cute girl, except Kyle only flirts+acts that way with her.

Stan+Kenny learned about Kyle's crush because of Kyley-B. Since theyre close to Erica, due to them all being friends, theres an insecurity+jealousy thats always been in Kyle (especially with Kenny) that, as Kyley B, is very out in the open.

But going back- Erica does 💯 💯 💯 use the flirting to her advantage. She knows that the jersey boy is after a girl's attention so she uses that against the rather simple minded seeming Kyley B, who in turn is trying very hard to win her over+makes rash choices even if he knows they arent necessarily right to get his girl.

Sometimes Kyley B is fully aware that Erica is likely using him for something, but thats the Kyle in him yelling at him to not trust a word she says, while his jersey side makes great points how even if he is used he might get a kiss from it, which is enough for him. But most times, Erica purposely triggers the, what she assumes to be, playboy jealousy to get her way. Even using him to threaten kids that otherwise wouldn't listen to her, all under the gise of "He wants me"

When Kyle is back to his usual self, he is mortified+acts like he doesn't remember anything.

Fave AU/Alter

My fave kyman au is by far Fantasy/TSOT!

I have one that I more personally do, where its "Accidentally Engaged" and thats what this is based off.

Context:

Grand Wizard Eric accidentally got engaged to the elven king Kyle, when he interrupted an important meeting between the KupaKeep ruler Princess Kenny and the elven king. For the treaty they didn't clear up the misunderstanding and are going through with the engagement.

To marry Kyle correctly, Eric goes through a baptism that will make him part of the elven kingdom in a coming-of-age ceremony and celebration that should involve many other recently baptized, challenges for mentorship recruiting, dancing and mingling for courting, but Eric is 25, the Grand Wizard of the Magic Tower, and engaged to Kyle, thus will be his Prince Consort. So it was a formality where Eric didn't get to do anything (to not take time away from the actual 18-30 year old who just got baptized and/or is looking for a mentorship, sponsorship, and/or partner) but sit next to Kyle, accept gifts that were supposed to be for him but were presented to Kyle, and mainly he just ate from the various delicious food that would get brought to him.

Issue is that oblivious Butters didn't notice that everyone was presenting the gifts to Kyle (which is because Kyle had caught someone flirting Eric- who used the attention to get information on mana/fairy flauna that grew in the elven forest- making him jealous and paranoid thus glaring at anyone getting near Eric during the party) THUS presenting his gift directly to Eric. Not only that, but Butters ignorantly gifted a White carnation that he found on his way to the elven kingdom and Eric ignorantly, mindlessly, accepts it causing a gasp in the hall. Elves know and believe in the meaning of flowers, so accepting one is accepting its meaning, and in this case a White carnation would mean pure love/sweet love.

Kyle takes the flower, sending a death glare to Butters who cowers. He forces Butters and then Eric to make it clear they were ignorant on the meaning by asking if they knew what flower it was and what its meaning is. Their confusion is enough for the scene to calm down a bit, so Kyle pulls Eric aside and thats when scene in the comic page happens.

Also, in this personal fantasy au, the Jersey side is a literal curse some elves have. It works like a werewolf curse mostly so they start coming out when near turned Jersey elves and on full moons. Some also have their Jersey speak to them internally (much like Kyle).

Earlier seasons did have them more wholesome imo. I love early seasons Cartman the most and it really shows you better how+why these 4 are friends.
