The second part of my thoughts on MC in Last Legasy .
I hope that I can explain what I think and you will understand it.
You know, the main character of almost any video game is a combination of a sick bastard and a hero who can do something that no one else can do, or a chosen hero who must save the world.
This dynamic is created when the player is given freedom of action.
like
" Wow you saved our village from the evil villain, we will sing your name for years to come, and tell everyone what a good person you are!! A, you killed him just to take the artifact previously owned by the villain to enslave people in a more interesting way? Well okay "
Now there will probably be references to other games that I think would be similar to Last legacy created by Mike
In Skyrim, you can slay a dragon that was planning to enslave humanity, and the guards will remind you that you're a hero and the coolest person in the world. At the same time, you can become the most badass assassin, thief, or other person way worse than that villain.
The main character's moral compass would be very different from the main4.
Main4: "Finally defeated the Lord of shadows, I hope this fucker doesn't resurrect again!"
MC: "Wait, I'll take his clothes and put them on myself. They have +25 to magic, and necromancer spells consume less mana."
If we choose options in the Felix route that the player could make without considering the consequences, it will add a point to the bad ending.
Like the choice when Rime wants to kill Escell
You can react "he can still be useful" or you can use your brain and understand that this is no longer a game, but reality, and that this is a person, not a NPC.
The same goes for the last chapter, when Rime, Felix, and MC are surrounded by cultists.
You can accept the fact that they will all be killed, or you can object and say that they are PEOPLE .What if they're threatened if they don't want to work for the LOS
