The first thing Midorima thinks is how high up he is, just above the counter's height. Sometimes he forgets just how tall Kise is. Carefully, he releases Kise's shirt with one hand to reach out, snatching the little sippy cup off the counter. He's quick to bring it close and hug it between him and Kise. "Yes, t'ank you Kissie." He mumbles, still clinging tight to the blonde as he brings the cup to his mouth quite contently.

After a moment of hesitation, little Shin clamors into the blonde's arms, tiny fingers curling tight into his shirt. "Uppy uppy nanodayo." 

"Mm, yes p'ease. I would wike a boost up nanodayo." 

"Big me wooks purrfect."

"We wook adorables."

“A monster?” He glanced beneath the bed once more. “There isn’t one. Maybe you’ve misplaced it somewhere.”

“Why didn’t you call for Euphie? Here.” Flips switch on and peeks under bed. “Are you sure you dropped it under here?”

With a tiny gasp he quickly covered his eyes, before peeking between his fingers. "Yes. I t'ink the monsters took it."

“What are you doing out of bed at this hour?”

"I dwopped bunny under da bed. Is dark under dere, but I can't s'eep without him." 

Crouching down, Aomine takes the little boy into his arms carefully. “Where’d you want me to take you now?”

"Oh, nowhere. You are just my wucky item for da day."
