The sudden surge of nightmare fueled dreaming had come to a sudden stop, the lasting impression of Aurora murdering her own brother in cold blood, stabbing him with one fatal wound that ended the entire thing. Madeline woke up with a start, sweaty and uncomfortably disturbed. Her hands went immediately towards her nonexistent stomach before she gasped out loud. Even though it was all a dream, it felt so real. She had to find somebody and confirm, because the immense amount of details just didnât make sense with how surreal it all was. Maddie found the first person she could and quickly asked, âDid anythingâŚweird happen to you last night?â
As Madeline spoke to Kyle he was staring at her a little wide eyed, It was weird to see her again after the dream he just had. âWhat..no. I mean..I had a weird-ass dream. In fact I have a serious headache.â he said while shaking his head. Elizabeth.Â
â You know for a place that just opened and junk, they sure do have alot of ghost roaming about. In other news, does anyone know how to get to the lab .. they have something i need.âÂ
âI can give you a tour.â Kyle smiled. Anything for a girl that pretty. âIn fact I can teleport you there if you like.â
Zadrian & Kyle | Oh brother mine
âSurely it must be.â Zadrian commented, knowing Kyle would come to his senses after the threat. He cared too much for girl, and Zadrian wanted to get rid of all that before it was the one thing that kept them apart. Instead, he tilted his head at his brother and added, âGo fetch my the child the then. Prove me wrong.â He tested him, a sinister grin reeling across his face. This was the final ingredient to make his sister come back with them. He knew it had to work.
âThe bird will have to do for now. Sheâll populate the world with Dougals, guaranteed. But not until sheâs completely rid of her horrendous anomaly.â Of course he was talking about the wings., the things he hated because they were the external reminder that they were all freaks there.
Kyle took a deep breath and nodded. âIâll get her...â he said. And that he did but not before assuring Madeline that he would bring her back. That he would do everything in his power to stop Zadrian. He supposed brother finally turned against brother but then again...had they ever been truly that? Or had he just simply been a replacement, stuck in playing a role he no longer wanted to play? He had done well and never asked Zadrian for anything. Now he did it was clear what Zadrian truly cared for. Which was his own blood. Which was Aurora and not him.Â
When Kyle returned with Elizabeth every viber in Kyleâs being was reluctant to hand her over to Zadrian. Handing a baby to devil. Still, he tried to make it look as naturally as possible. âMadeline named her Elizabeth...â Kyle said, though he realized the name wasnât as unusual as the Dougals might prefer. âPlease...be careful.â he said.
She looked up at him, worry crossing her face. She wasnât sure what was to come, but could only hope for the best. Her fears were all there though. Kyle could take the baby from her arms and leave without another word, and that was the opposite of what she needed. And, that was what happened. Once she saw him move forward, she felt some sort of passion take over, some maternal instinct kick in, and knew this was the only way to go about this, the only way to give this child the best life. Kissing him back, she let out a breathless sigh before letting her forehead touch his as he spoke. âThank you Kyle. Thank you so much. I just want to keep her safe. I donât want her to have to grow up with that monster.â
Kyle wasnât yet prepared to agree with Madeline on calling Zadrian a monster, but it did seem like he had woken up from a very hazy dream. Like he could think clearer. âShe wonât have to.â he said. âIâll teleport to him right now and tell him I canât do it.â he said. âAnd after that Iâll back...To look after you both.â he smiled. âDonât go anywhere.â he said before he disappeared.

Kyle, Felix, Zadrian | Water is sweet but blood is thicker
As soon as Zadrian started talking, the sounds of catastrophe outside dwindled. Still, there was shouts of confusion, but the storm was passing. Felixâs eyes regained their natural, dark pigment as his head canted slightly to the left. His gaze flicked from Kyleâs approving nod to Zadrian again as he went on. âProtectionâŚâ he repeated slowly, again glancing between the two when Kyle said that heâd be facing some sort of test of loyalty. Ah.Â
Felix had never killed anyone before, but heâd been an accomplice to murder. Heâd been on the other end of it as well, with an attempt on his own life, and the successful murder of the one asshole he might have considered his friend if pressed. The man had died beside him, and it left an imprint on Felix.
If they were paying close enough attention, the Dougals would notice a twitch in the right side of Felixâs face. It was a reflex, a reaction to the memory of his friendâs blood splattering his face from the passengerâs side of the car theyâd been in. Heâd swerved into the guardrail, flipped over it, down into a ditch. Assumed dead, the men who shot his friend didnât come to inspect the crash; thatâs the only reason he was alive today.
âUnderstood,â he parroted Zadrian with an empty stare. âYou need someone to eliminate a threat.â He glanced at Kyle. âIâm fine with that.â If it meant getting out of here, heâd do anything they asked. âWhatever you want, Iâm your man.â
âVery promising to hear.â Zadrian muttered, not wanting to get into further details at the moment, but ready as heâd ever be to face his enemies. He knew getting the hell out of there was something that needed to happen sooner, rather than later, and with things falling into place, it seemed like things might actually be working in his favor, though they always seemed to work in his favor if he had anything to do with it.
âYour test could come at any time, so be prepared. Do not let your guard down.â He advised with a stern look, before standing from the table and raising his glass of wine. âThis toast is for you then Felix, new brother of the Dougals, so long as you prove your loyalty and ties to the family. We stick together, and no matter where we go, we are one family now.â He took his wine glass and downed the contents with a smug look. âThereâs still work to be done, but Iâm going to handle everything. Keep your guard up though.â
Kyle noticed the little twitch in Felixâ features. âDonât worry.â Kyle said to Felix. âWhen the time is there Iâll be there to pick you up, drop you off and get you out again the moment youâve completed your...test.â he smiled while taking a hold of his wine glass.Â
âTo Felix. Our new brother.â he repeated with a smile. âWe do not bend. We do not break.â he said before taking a sip of his wine. âAnd to freedom that soon will be ours.â he smiled. Kyle couldnât wait to get out of this place.
âAfter we take care of this little issues all thatâs left is getting our sister back.â
Zadrian & Kyle | Oh brother mine
âYouâre a coward.â Zadrian said with narrowed eyes onto Kyle. This was not something Orion would have ever denied him or their sister in a million years, and while it was completely out of character, Zadrian gave Kyle another shot at the question.
He spat back, âI donât care what it must be like to hold your own child. Aurora will never be able to do something like that. This is why I must give her this child!â Zadrian fumed back, shoving past Kyle. âIf you donât do this, you will regret it Kyle. If you donât do this, Iâll have to do it myself, and I donât know what Iâll do to her Kyle. But I know you wonât like what I have in mind for your little girl toy.â He said with a devilish smile. âPerhaps Iâll give her a child of my own, and keep her as my pet. Sheâll populate the world with the next generation of Dougals. Is that what you want?â
Kyleâs eyes widened a bit and for a moment he took a step towards Zadrian, almost as if he was about to punch him. But then he regained himself. He had to fight this battle wisely and make sure to convince Zadrian there wasnât a battle to begin with.
âYouâre right.â he then said. âForgive me, Iâm being foolish. It must be the lack of sleep during the birth.â he told Zadrian. âI canât think straight.â he admitted. âBut Iâve given you my word. And Iâll keep it.â he said. âIn fact, Iâll bring you the child right now.â he said. âSo you can finally make things right with Aurora.â he stated. âAnd you wonât need Madeline for such thing, you have your own little bird for that.â he added.Â
Maddie wrapped her arms around the baby, holding her in her arms carefully and tenderly as she soothed the crying in a soft whimper from the newborn. Tears still sprung, filling her own eyes as she wanted this moment to last forever. âSheâs absolutely perfect.â The young woman repeated the fatherâs words in a soft tone, as she looked into her childâs eyes and fell apart by the mere creation of this child, this living, breathing baby. âThank youâŚfor staying with me, for staying with us.â She softly whispered back up at Kyle, a sigh of relief hitting her along with the fatigue of the birth process. She faintly looked back up to him and while cradling the baby with one arm, she slipped her other arm over to Kyleâs lap, reaching for his hand to hold. They might not have been the best family, but at least they had each other right now. Nothing else mattered, as long as she had the two of them right now.
Kyle noticed he was overcome by emotion, maybe it was the lack of sleep. Or maybe it was because he knew what he had to do now. But at Madelineâs words and her hand in his lap he could do nothing else but take it. He turned his face away from her, gathering himself before looking at her again. And for a moment it might have looked like he was going to do it. Like he was going to take a hold of Elizabeth and teleport her out of there. But instead he moved forward and pressed his lips against Madelineâs, kissing her intensely.
âDonât worry...â he finally said. âIâm going to keep us safe.â he promised her then. âI wonât let anyone take her. Iâll keep us safe.â
Zadrian & Kyle | Oh brother mine
While plans were slowly falling into place, he only needed the last key ingredient to the fucked up master idea that was going to get him and his family out of there. The baby to secure Auroraâs spot in coming home with them. He wanted to leave this place more than anybody, and he would only go with Aurora at his side. After all, he needed a queen to help him rule the world once they got out of there. What he wasnât planning on was Kyleâs emotions to get in the way. He thought he was a nearly perfect replacement for Orion, but boy was he wrong.
Turning in an instant to face the young man. âCanât do what?â He spat back almost immediately, anger tinging every word as he spat at him, âIf this is about your child, I donât give a shit if you donât think you can do it. Youâre going to do this. If you had any respect for our family name, you would follow through with your word.â
The words were harsh but true and Kyle was obviously so conflicted. âI donât want to disapppoint you...I...â he shook his head. âBut I saw her. I held her. You donât what itâs like...to hold you own child.â he said.
Kyle didnât know what he had expected. Of course Zadrian wouldnât give in to this. Maybe a part of it had hoped. But he was wrong. And now he had to be smart. Even though they had their sacred law, Kyle wasnât sure if Zadrian would keep to it if Kyle truly refused. If he would just be another puppet he had no chance of protecting his own. So he had to think of something and he had to do it quickly.
Zadrian & Kyle | Oh brother mine
Kyle was shaken up. He was torn in his loyalties. He didnât want to disappoint Zadrian. He truly didnât but he didnât have the strength to take Elizabeth from her motherâs arms either. She was his. Not Zadrianâs or Auroraâs but his. Yet he had created a plan in which she a vital piece. Without her everything would fall a part. Too much had already happened for them to go back on it. Sylvie had lost her wings. Grayson nearly his life. Only Tatiana and Aurora were left to deal with. The program was closing in on them and they had to leave. Soon.Â
Kyle stepped into Zadrianâs room. Knowing he was about to break character. Because the next four words were ones Orion would never say.
âI canât do it...â

It had felt like hours had passed, her breathing growing stiff with each contraction that hit her like a train. She was hurting, and she was sore all over. But after what she considered the most traumatizing moments of her life, a sensation left her as she collapsed back onto the bed, the strain of everything having washed away.
She was weak with emotions, and even before she had heard the babyâs cries, she was crying, from happiness or relief, she wasnât sure, but it was all the same in that moment. Doctors helped her with settling her back into a more comfortable position, cleaning up after everything and she could only watch Kyle carry their child with the faintest of smiles. Her eyes were bleary and red, and she was tired beyond belief, but when she saw Kyle carrying their daughter, it was like a new spark had lifted her.
âItâs a girl?â She asked in a murmured whisper, her weakened state pulling a smile up as she let out a few heavy breaths as she held her arms out to hold her baby. âShe has your nose.â Madeline replied easily, taking the child into her arms and memorizing the face with her life. âSheâs so beautiful.â Tears kept rolling down her cheeks before she looked back to Kyle. âMy sweet littleâŚâ She started, before adding, âElizabeth.â
Carefully Kyle handed the baby to her and sat down on the edge of her bed. For a moment he had forgotten all about being Dougal. All he saw was a potential family he never had before. One of his own. He saw a child that needed protection. Protection and care his own parents had never given him.
It didnât take long before the feeling of duty crept up on him. He had to keep his promise to Zadrian or he would lose everything. But in the moment he didnât want to think of it. So instead he smiled at the little creature in Madelineâs arms. âElizabeth...â he repeated. âShe is perfect.â And suddenly the cruelty of ripping his own child out her motherâs arms, seemed a cruelty too much for him to bear. He just wanted to spend time with both of them and keep them safe. It was a strange primal instinct he hadnât expected to come over him but it was the simple truth nonetheless.Â
Kyle, Felix, Zadrian | Water is sweet but blood is thicker
A single eyebrow was lifted at the explanation of Zadrianâs power, and Felix quickly realized and accepted that this was not someone you wanted to get on the wrong side of. Right. Noted.
As far as his power was concerned, well⌠thatâs where things got a little hairy. A lot of it depended on his emotion, and since heâd been in a constant state of stress and anger his whole life, including the time after getting these abilities, there was no in-between when it came to displaying it. It was either tiny and none-too-impressive, or huge and destructive. Obviously, the former wasnât going to keep these people off his back, or get him out of this place.
âOkay,â he said cheekily, with a rise in his voice that suggested he was playfully saying âyou asked for it.â
Taking a deep breath, Felix tried to shake off the nervous energy, but it wouldnât go. âJust as well,â he thought, âit might actually help boost my performance a little.â There was a short silence as he focused on the outside, recalling memories of places he knew and drawing energy from them. It wasnât necessary, but it made it easier when he couldnât actually see the exact space he was affecting. There were no windows in this room, but Felix was confident that his storm would be heard and felt.
Five more seconds passed by, and the young manâs irises began to turn that milky white, surrounded by a halo of pitch black. Outside, above the ocean just a few miles from the coast, the sky was darkening. Wind speeds kicked up to ten, thirty, fifty miles per hour and increasing rapidly. They twisted and swirled into a massive spiral, bringing the cloud cover down and the seawater up to meet in the middle. Rain erupted from the sky, torrential and as violent as the winds now knocking things over, ripping signs from walls, hurling garbage cans through the air.Â
Felix had never cared for other people, and so his lack of guilt made it very easy to ignore the hundreds of thousands of NYC citizens he was willingly trapping in the middle of a sudden hurricane⌠all in the name of pleasing someone he thought could help him.
It wasnât long before the stormâs effects reached their facility, and despite the fact that they were in a windowless roomâperhaps underground, Felix had no way of knowingâthey could still hear the ferocious howling outside, the constant white noise from the water thrashing the roof and sides of the building, and the occasional massive crash! as something large slammed into it. Snippets of shouting that managed to drown out the sound of the storm let Felix know that heâd done well in causing a commotion, and his eerie gaze seemed to come back into focus, settling on Zadrian, unchanged.
âItâd be more impressive if you were stuck in it, but you get the idea.â
Once the young man had been egged on by both he and Kyle, it seemed that he was willing to show off for them, something that Zadrian was more eager than he was willing to admit to see. And, the room grew eerie and quiet as the young man began to work his own magic, and while everything was still, Zadrian saw the white eyes in a freaky possession sort of manner.
âInteresting.â He murmured after a moment, noting how concentrated the other looked. It wasnât until moments later that he realized just how big of a threat thsi kid could become, and as soon as the building began to shake it seemed, Zadrian had to commend the other in a single clap. âVery nice.â He added with a grin. âThereâs just one last thing that I need you to doâŚâ He started out, a devilish grin taking over. âI need protection. Iâve pissed off the wrong crowd, and I need security, from both of you. Weâre Dougals, we do not bend, we do not break. We do not use our abilities one each other.â He vowed with a swirl of his glass of wine. âUnderstood?â
Kyle took in the little show Felix performed and had to admit he felt a sense of pride on how good the boy was doing. He was keeping Zadrianâs attention, he said the right things, showed off his power in a perfect manner...Kyle couldnât help feeling hopeful that this little arrangement would actually work out for the best.Â
Once Felix was done Kyle gave him a satisfied nod, as sign that he done well. At Zadrianâs next comment Kyle could tell that not only his brother was impressed but also maybe a little bit threatened by the amount of potential of Felixâ power. Kyle knew better than showing that noticed this though. He looked at Felix. âItâs our most sacred law.â he stated on never using their powers on one another.
He raised his glass. âWe do not bend. We do not break.â he repeated.
He looked at Zadrian, as sign it was time to move on to the most important part of the night. To test how far Felix was willing to go to prove he could be one of them. âSomeone is very likely planning to make a move to take Zadrian out...â Kyle explained further while looking at Felix. âIf they threaten one of us, they threaten all of us. We just need to find out how far youâre willing to go to protect your own.â
She slid into the bed, leaning back into the pillows and staring at Kyle, just trying to understand why he was doing this in the first place. Why was he so adamant on following Zadrian around and his orders to a tee. She huffed a sigh as she fell back onto the bed and nodded at him. âGood. I canât handle you yelling at me right now.â She wiped away her tears and just shook her head, dropping her glance from him. âI just wantâŚcompany. Iâve never feltâŚso alone.â She cradled her tummy still, wishing only for a safe delivery so that she could finally have somebody on her side.
Kyle nodded. Right now they would have a common goal. Getting this baby out safe and sound. âIâm here.â he simply said. And even though that might not be the company or comfort she was looking for, it was all he had to offer at this point.
The next few hours were such a blur of screams and blood. Kyle didnât know what he had expected but the intensity of it all was something he could never have forseen. The worst part was that he had no clue what he was doing or if there even was something he had to do. He mostly just barked things at the doctor when he was afraid they werenât doing their jobs properly.
Luckily there were doctors present that seemed to have a clue on how to help her and that were far more capable than Kyle could ever be. The horror a woman had to go through to put life on this planet was terribly underestimated, so he thought. But everything comes to an end and this was no exception.Â
He had moved to Madelineâs bed side and he hadnât even noticed how he had taken her hand as these last moments of anticipation had arrived. Until the room was filled with a high pitched cry. Kyle was mesmerized, staring at the small bundle of blood and goo that the doctor was holding. His eyes were wide and he seemed frozen in place.Â
When the doctors asked him heâd like to hold his child while they assisted Madeline further he was finally able to move. He carefully took the small baby in his arms, which they had wrapped in white blankets. He hadnât forseen how this moment would feel. How holding your own child would feel. He walked up to Madeline and finaly smiled, ready to hand it to her.
Kyle, Felix, Zadrian | Water is sweet but blood is thicker
Almost like a reflex, Felix bowed his head when Kyle introduced him to the man standing in the doorway, just as he had when he was small and his father would introduce him to family friends. It left a bad taste in his mouth, but he tried to ignore it, straightening up to follow the other two as they left for the private room.
Inside, Felix was prompted to discuss his abilities. His eyes raked over the room slowly, absentmindedly playing with the cuff link on his sleeve. âIâm surprised you were able to swing this⌠the people who ripped me from my home and kept me locked up in a basement for weeks didnât really strike me as the type to host fancy little dinner parties.â He let his gaze fall until it met Zadrianâs, whereupon a small smirk alighted on his lips. âYou must have some kind of pull.â Shrugging with one shoulder, Felix continued. âAnyway, as far as Iâm concerned.. I can control weather elements. You know, lightning, hail, rain, wind, storms of varying degrees and types⌠that sort of thing.â
âSome kind of pull?â Zadrian threw his head back in a laugh, one not so serious, but actual belief that it was a joke indeed on his own ability. âI control peopleâs minds. I can make them say or do anything I ask for.â He stated rather nonchalantly, after being used to the ability for sometime, he was all the more willing to show off to others that werenât a blessed.
Of course, when Felix said his ability was to control the weather, there was an intriguing idea of mischief coming into play. âThen go on, control some weather aspect then. Make it torrentially pour or something outside.â He mentioned in a short chuckle, hoping to at least see if the young man would follow through, though in the room they were in, you wouldnât have been able to tell what the weather was like outside. âPerhaps you could come in more use than I originally intended.â
Kyle chuckled at the same comment. He pointed to Felix where he could sit down. As Zadrian put out a request for Felix to show of his power, Kyle nodded towards the boy in encouragement.Â
Zadrianâs upbeat mood was definitely a good sign and the fact he wasnât sneering at Felix yet was even better. Perhaps there would indeed be a different dynamic between the older and youngest this time.
âDonât be shy Felix, show off a little.â he smiled friendly. âYou wonât get in trouble. If anyone asks about it Zadrian will simply make them forget it ever happened.â
âHeâs gonna make me forget?â She asked, a sensation of sudden fear running down her spine, making her gasp out for any sort of breath. She couldnât think of anything more cruel than to forget about the existence of her own child, and that much was enough to send her over the edge into crying. His yelling wasnât helping either as she weeping with her hands covering her face, overwhelmed by the thought of losing her baby. âAll will be well? How can you say that? I will not be well! You guys are stealing my family, my own blood, our own blood? And for what? Because another woman canât have a child! This is not what I want Kyle!â Her pleas of desperation were matched with the sobbing that she held herself in as her feet hit the ground so she could waddle to him.
Instead, he approached her, and with the temper he held, she was scared. âNo! Kyle! Please!â She begged as she tried to lean back against the bed, trying to get away from him without any luck. âIâll get back in bed! I justâŚI just want to see my baby!â Already an emotional wreck, Madelineâs hormones were not doing well at the high rampage she had experienced and she bursted out into tears again. âJust leave! Please! I donât want you to be around! Iâll have the baby, andâŚyouâre stressing me out!â
Kyle breathed heavy, trying to calm himself down. He couldnât leave her. He had to make sure this baby got to where it needed to be. And he couldnât let her do it alone. What if something went wrong and she needed help? Alright, no more screaming that obviously wasnât helping. He had made his point. âI canât leave...â he said. âBut I wonât yell at you anymore either just...do what you need to do and let me help.â he said. This was simply the situation and they would have to deal with it together. He would rather be anywhere than here but this was his responsibility, the promise he made Zadrian. âWhat do you need? Water?â he offered, trying to be more helpful.

âHeâs not going to take our baby!â She cried back, looking over to Kyle with a shake of her head. âWhy wouldnât I remember about her?â Maddie questioned immediately before her eyes narrowed onto his. âWhat? This is so he can make peace with Aurora?â Beyond furious, she lifted herself off the bed slowly, holding her back as she slipped up to stand up. âWhat are you talking about Kyle!?âÂ
âHeâs not! Iâm taking our baby. For him. And you wonât remember it because he will make you forget!â he yelled back. He wasnât worried about people hearing them at this point. Zadrian could all take care of it. He could make everyone do what he wanted them to do. He could make them all forget. They were slowly getting overconfident. This program was theirs and the world would soon follow. âShe canât have children. This will be his gift to her. One she wonât be able to refuse. And all will be well again.â
He approached her as she tried to get up. âGet back in there! Youâre about to give birth! Iâm going to give you a choice here. Youâre going to lay down, put this baby on this earth without a fight and Iâll let you spend some time with it after. If youâre going to be difficult Iâm going to teleport Zadrian here in the blink of an eye, who will mind control you through the whole thing and instantly take it away. The choice is yours!â
Kyle, Felix, Zadrian | Water is sweet but blood is thicker
Suffice it to say, these people were Felixâs polar opposites. Perhaps, had his childhood been more stable, he could have been like them. It wasnât in Felixâs nature to be a hard ass: his rough exterior was a result of necessity. You didnât make it on the streets if you were soft. You didnât keep clients if you backed down to other dealers, or let people take advantage of you. He was forced to be an animal, to stay alive and fed. But as a youth, heâd been very gentle. Soft-spoken, kind, and generally nothing you would expect of a child from such a broken home. Not that anyone ever gave him the chance to prove that, ostracized as he was.
Now he had that chance to be true to himself, and the more he pondered it, the more he liked the idea. It was a relief to not have to have his guard up all the time⌠in fact, during Kyleâs teachings, Felix came to realize that he rather enjoyed having someone else tell him what to do. He didnât have to think about it, or worry, or consider the consequence of his actions. He was finally free to let someone else do the planning, so he could sit back and relax for once in his life.
Well, figuratively speaking, anyway. He was doing quite the opposite, currently.
Felix wanted to complain that the suit felt stuffy, but he held his tongue. Simply by the things heâd been told, he was beginning to understand that that would generally be the best course of action. Just smile and nod. His patience wore thin as Kyle fixed his tie however, and he rolled his eyes with a sigh.Â
âYes, brother, I think Iâve got it,â he grumbled, still allowing the other to fuss over the last details. At the reminder about the slang, Felix groaned inwardly. This was going to be harder than he thought. Staring at the door, hands clasped behind his back, Felix did his best to not look overwhelmingly awkward in his suit⌠at least it fit.Â
@zadriandougalâ
Zadrian was well aware of what tonight meant for all the young men who were to wine and dine, and perhaps speak ill of the rest of the facilities, in fact, that was what was going to happen if Zadrian had to force it all. He himself had gotten into his own formalwear, checking himself out one last time in the full length mirror when the knock at his door put an extra pep in his step.
Akron had always been the black sheep, even with their bastard sister on the line. There was just something so unearthly disturbing about the third brother into the mix, but, it was need to balance out who they were as a family, and Zadrian trusted Kyle and proceeded to open the door and greet them. âAre we ready?â He asked quickly, leading the way out and down the hall.
âIâve set up a dinner for us in a private room, so we can discuss matters of business.â
Kyle nodded towards Zadrian. âBrother.â he greeted him. âThis is Felix.â he introduced the boy next to him. Kyleâs hand was on his back, pushing him forward a bit to encourage him. âOur guest of honor tonight.â he said, with a hint of smile directed towards Zadrian.
âYes, we are ready.â he said as Zadrian lead them down the hallway. âThatâs sounds perfect. I made sure to bring us plently of proper wine. As you know no door is closed to me.â he smiled. âWe have important matters to discuss indeed.â he said as the entered the private room. The combination of their powers, left very little impossibilities for them.Â
âFelix, why donât you tell Zadrian here about what you can do. To break the ice so to say.â he said friendly, wanting Felix to feel at ease because he knew what it was like to be him. And once they got the matter of Felixâ power out of the way, they could discuss the things that were really important. Such as the test of his loyalty.Â
