So, a little while ago the fire alarm in the room starts chirping.

My other alive roommate: my grandpa says when things chirp it can be because of a ghost passing by

Me: haha Michael would have to be walking laps to have it beep this fast

Low batteries probably. I figure.

So I grab batteries and switch them out. I put the fire alarm back.

And then the damn thing beeps again!

So I'm like wtf and I check the batteries and google.

Me: Michael if it's you--

*alarm beeps*

I leave the room to take out the trash. While I'm gone the thing doesn't beep once.

I come back in the room.

BEEP

Me: I give up. It's michael.

Then it never beeps again.

Michael you jerk

Either that or I can't work a fire alarm

The house is usually really quiet during the summer so when people first gets back Michael likes to act up.

In general, when you're alone he likes to act up.

I'm alone in the house right now and it's so quiet and boring and I know how Michael feels. I'm about to find some finger paints and start drawing mustaches on all the mirrors
