Tae is my bias and Yoongi my bias wrecker and the way you describe Taes future after disbandment he is more a multitalent (who can do variety of things ) than a real musician for you and I don't really agree with that point. In my opinion he has most distinctive voice of all and still has so much potential . If you follow his recent work you will find out that he's not limited to just one genre. So I think his musical ambitions are definitely higher than his acting ones.
Regarding his popularity , especially in East Asia like Japan he's even more popular than his own band not only for his looks but also his talent and personality and so I think he'll definitely go far with his post bts career IF HE WANTS
What you're saying in this ask, and what I said in my post about Tae, are the same thing. I do think he's a multitalented artist and like I said, "heās destined for a successful solo career". I just don't think music will be his only focus, I think he'll do other things in addition to music. I think you really want Tae to be seen by me as a real musician, and I have already seen him that way for years, but I also won't ignore his other talents.

In Kpop, artists don't get popular with only music, especially not in 2022 Kpop. Appearing on variety shows, in fashion magazines, and doing influencer-related things really boost a musicians solo career. Like, take Park Sandara for example. She's been known as a musician and started her career as a musician quite a long time ago, and over time she's done acting, been on different shows and done a huge number of things. All of that lead to the stage musical she was cast in a couple years ago. As Kpop artists get older they tend to lose relevancy, and for male artists there's a higher risk of this, especially after they return from the military, so for Taehyung to be as talented as he is, will really boost his music significantly and keep people talking about him for a very, very long time.
But anyway, I'm with you about how distinctive his voice is. NO ONE sounds like Taehyung. Seokjin has a distinctive voice too, but what makes his voice distinctive is mostly his accent. Taehyung is more artistically unique in his tone and the way he sings. Some post a while back, I think in my review of the BE album, I mentioned that Tae can sing many genres too.
Taehyung is more popular than his band in basically EVERYWHERE. I think there are maybe two or three countries around the world, tops, where Jungkook or Jimin are more popular than Tae.
