Art museum reopening got postponed til 2027….. KILLING MEEEEEEEEE

I’ve been listening to the audiobook version of Blood Meridian at work and honestly its nuts. I can tell most of the people who talk about it haven’t read it, which is probably the first time i’ve said that about anything i’m reading or watching. It’s wildly intoxicating to listen to, some of the stuff mostly reads as shock horror more than a believably bleak setting. Idk i like it as literature but obviously it’s (intentionally) fucked up and evil. I’m honestly very mesmerized by how Judge Holden is characterized and every part about him makes me feel both ill and completely enthralled…. I’m like halfway through now so there’s still a bit to go

My stupid headlight lowbeams are out, not because of the bulb, not because of the fuse, but some internal bullshit i’m gonna have to get serviced. Aaagghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh… i REALLY don’t want to get it serviced because I don’t have another vehicle. And I don’t want to go to my dad for help even though he’s a big car guy and is best friends with a car mechanic becaaauuusee my vooiceee issss deeepeeerrrr and he’s the only one who consistently calls that out. Idk what to tell him. I don’t wanna come out. Ughhhhhhhhhhhh this sucks so bad

Actually on the topic of appendectomies i’m a little miffed they changed how they do them. Okay like not really miffed but I kinda wish they would give you a cool scar. All they do is give you a scar on the opposite side of your appendix, in your belly button, and right where your pubes start above your groin. It looks a little silly because mine keloided lol

Been having some pain in my side and i’m kinda worried it’s a kidney stone (before you think “appendix?” I’ve already had an appendectomy. And it’s on my left side)

The next thing I need to spend all my money on after i buy splatoon raiders is uhhhh…. I need to… um… buy a bunch of tactical gear for fetish purposes, okay?

I’m finally getting around to buying the fur for my bf’s partial, but i’m holding out a little because idk if I should order the fur for *my* partial too…. Howl fabrics is honestly pretty cheap considering how nice it is, so i’m conflicted there. I think I may wait because i’m not really considering finishing my partial and just being my bf’s handler for the con as it’ll be his first time suiting (it would be mine too, we don’t have any friends who know we’re furries lol except for the con founders)… bahh i think next year i’ll make mine. Idc if prices have gone up by then or something, my bf just got a raise and i should surely get one by this time next year too

I think my next painting is gonna be Kestrel water walking with his helmet off… the southern part of the island right outside of Vivec is really pretty with all the little bits of rock sticking out of the water so that’ll be a fun location i think

Anyway I mean I guess I knew he was hot because I think about the torture scene a little too often, but I noticed he has a little bit of a belly paunch in that scene and i went HHAAAUUUUHHH because wwoooowwww helloooooooo ohhhhh my god Adhemar…….. helloooooooo

Sometimes i see characters with beautiful hair and i get the overwhelming urge to say “i need to shave you bald” and then i realize thats not something normal people think or say
