i remember the day i fell in love with you:  it was a cold december day sometime after christmas. there were plans in place, but nothing was set in stone.  

when i first saw you, i was met with the gift of spring in winter.  butterflies emerged from their cocoons and flowers bloomed from their dried up and frozen roots.  

when we got into the car, i was met with the gift of summer in winter.  a car ride into town with the greatest tunes filling the air and our voices synced up.  it was an atmosphere filled only with good vibes instead of worries.  

when we arrived, i was met with the gift of autumn in winter.  a small fire to fight the indoor winds followed by small chats and glaring looks to keep us entertained.  

you gifted me with three seasons that we've never experienced together.  it was that day that i fell in love with you, and i thank you for that.  

i love you.

and if i start falling for you, let me crash onto my already bruised knees because although i know nothing about love, i want nothing more than for you to become my expertise.
