The sq rt of -1

It rained today in Portland, quite rare for July. Taken at the International Rose Test Garden.

Last week I went to Wooden Shoe tulip farm to take pictures and got some half decent ones. This one was taken in the back garden though. 

From Hood River on our way to Trillium Lake we stopped at Laurence Lake hoping to get views of Hood, what we found was freezing fog, 24F temps and spikey frost everywhere. The south side of the mountain was clear and 44F. Hoarfrost, great name.
