I have read your FAQ and answered questions but I think there is a problem with your page shine on you crazy diamond. I've tried using the coding and it won't allow it to become one box that changes, instead like all the sides are on one scrolling page. I'm highly confused.

Hello! I'm planning on using theme #8: Healing, but I won't be using the 6 custom links. Is there a way to get rid of the roman numerals ?

Hi, I’ve edited the code so the Roman numerals automatically disappear if a link title is not in place. Just in reinstall the code and they should be able to disappear. Let me know if you still have troubles!

Hello there, I used one of your themes today the "toward hope" theme. I LOVE IT. However, on the bar below my title, one of the links is for my archive. Is there any way of changing it for another thing? Like my submissions page. Thanks a bunch.

Go to the customize page and click “Edit HTML.” Look for “/archive” and switch it with “/submit”!

for some godforsaken reason, tumblr’s updated such that some links no longer work. for example, a lot of people have /link on their pages instead of url.tumblr.com/link, tumblr’s made it so that now, when you click on the link, it takes you to t.umblr.com/link. i know i’m not the only person who shortcuts on their links like this, but tumblr is out to get us i swear. this only happens on pages, so if you have links in your HTML, you’re fine but if you have links in your pages (aka no html, no fancy coded pages) that lead to other pages, tags, etc, THEY ARE BROKEN! even if this doesn’t help you specifically, please reblog to help other people!!! i’ve checked around 10 blogs and it’s broken on everyone!!!!

Tumblr Controls

Recently theme makers and users have had some trouble with the tumblr controls, and it looks like tumblr have changed the code - or are currently in the process of doing so. This is why the tumblr controls work for some and not for others.

If your tumblr controls do not work correctly

Tumblr have changed the name of the class and deleted the id on the new code. So instead of coding with the id:

#tumblr_controls

You need to change it to:

.tmblr-iframe.tmblr-iframe--desktop-loggedin-controls.iframe-controls--desktop

Or change it to one of the classes:

.tmblr-iframe .tmblr-iframe--desktop-loggedin-controls (css visible if logged in) .iframe-controls--desktop

If your tumblr controls still does not show, it might be because it’s hiding behind another div. Add this to the tumblr controls css:

z-index:999999999!important;

hello! I'm using theme #22 and I can't seem to find where the date display on the screen is (idk if it is just me or I'm just blind) it's turned on btw and I tried turning it on/off and I still can't find it anywhere on the screen.

Ah! The date display is for the permalink page, so it should show up when you click on a post link!

If you scroll down the customization page, there should be an option to change between 250px, 400px, and 500px posts. Just turn off the current post option (which I assume is 250px) and turn on a different size!

I'm using theme 15 and I was wondering where it shows the tags on posts? And do I enter my url under the ask section in the url to turn it on?

There are no tags for Theme #15! I’m not really sure what you mean, but I don’t think you need to add your URL to turn on the ask box.

To turn on the ask box for any theme, just click on the person icon, go to settings, and click on the blog you want to turn the ask box on for (it should be on the right hand side of the page). Then scroll down and there is an option to “Let people ask questions”. Just turn that on and you’re set
