my metal goes by mecha for the sake of simplicity and to give a proper name to the character. pronouns are any, though I default to it/he/they.
which version or form mecha is in is very verse and thread dependent. i fluctuate between these and specify in the tags. furthermore if I need to specify a specific game/movie/comic etc arc and timeline I absolutely will! we mostly go on vibes and what’s feeling appropriate for ourmuses.
I am going to reiterate this is a villainous muse that lacks most empathy and sympathy. mecha only heeds to his creator, eggman, and any other alternative form he doesn’t consider his own. mecha remains neutral in interaction unless there’s a scenario/reason/standing canonical or developed relationship that would trigger negative or more complex emotions. mecha, while despising organic life, remains interested in a way with organic thoughts, feelings; actions and etc.

the mild annoyance at his inquiry is forgiven as metal observes the shifting realm around there — formulations of code &. pixel alike coming in flashes like prayers answered. though, these would be filled by a false god. the thin border between the digital and tangible world slowly deteriorates as rewrite almost nonchalantly paced to and from while twirling the glowing ring in - between gloved fingers. soon. how long was soon? until their very forms crumbled 'neath the weight at the birth of a new world? it's not a risk metal would take.
