can i just say... out of all the fanart I've seen for shortgrass and yea... this 100% has to be my fav... (Can't use emojis rn cuz im on my laptop and im too lazy to copy and paste them rn but if i could there would be multiple star-eyed and heart-eyed emojis)
the COLOURS!! They're just so fantastically warm and vibrant and with the nice life part of it the colours are cooler (unless that's just my imagination. idk) cuz of it being winter and stuff. The shading is also just... YUM. I love the shading on bdub's bush thingy the most :3 The lineart is also wonderful... there's just the perfect amount of softness in the brush and the weighted lines... also the way the hair is drawn is jusst so floofy yet still angular and especially joel's hair it's just wonderful!!!
also the speech bubbles are so perfect at conveying the tone... the sharpness and squareness shape in bdub's vs the softness and cloud-like shape in joel's.. the contrast is amazing!

the colors are indeed cooler in the nice life portion its actually one of my favorite parts of the drawing, I love that snowy look a LOT !! picking colors for anything is absolutely the most fun part of drawing for me so im SOO glad u pointed it out as something u liked, it makes me so happy :DDD and THE LINEART OMG i definitely struggled with it a bit on this one but ughh its the most rewarding part for me nd you pointing it out positively is very reassuring !!!!

its a webseries made by a youtube channel called movieunleashers !! it follows different starter pokemon going through sum crayz shit each episode nd its made in a south park-esque style … i like it but it gets pretty dark nd its kind of slow ( in a good way ) and its suuuper episodic, the only thing that really translates each episode r sum of the characters
I recommend it a lot but its def not for everyone, it has sum disturbing imagery, a lot of swearing, serious themes, nd other things like that !! it knows when to stop being funny nd HANDS DOWN the best thing abt it is the characters. if any of that is ur thing then its an awesum watch ^^
