A lot of people are in pain, but don't want to admit it or name the thing that's causing them pain. A lot of people aren't being honest with themselves as to just how bad things are socially—maybe they are, but they don't wish to share their thoughts on the absurdity of what's been going on and it probably won't be for another 6-8 years until there's no point of return to where people have to talk about the absurd in order to feel sane. Sucks that some people only want change when the grim reaper is directly knocking on their doors.

It's more scary to see someone pretending to be happy when they're not, draping a veil of humor over their pain or drowning out everything using whatever vice the've convinced themselves that helps them cope, rather than seeing someone come to you unintelligibly with snot and tears running down their faces, needing a hug, someone to listen to them or a home cooked meal—I don't know, but it troubles me to see and I've been seeing people lose themselves more and more since 2020. Everyone seems to be worried about how their pain will be perceived by others and how it'll be used against them rather than being a human and allowing themselves the right to expressing their emotions, no matter how messy. It really pains me to see because I can see how much life has derailed us.

Me for example I have Saturn Rahu and Venus in Ashlesha in my 1st house of my d60 chart and when I started to study Ashlesha nakshatra it’s like I rediscovered some kind of loss memory or knowledge, my dreams became full of deep sea serpent and dragons. So it made sense for my Ashlesha Saturn to aspect still my ascendant, moon and Venus in my d1 and I’m still studying mysticism still in this life.

like for instance if you have a ketu in chitra in the D1 but thats your moon in the D60, the themes regarding chitra that were prominent in your past life (according to chitra and everything about the nakshatra), your being asked to let go and detach from those traits in this life (because with ketu it’s something you inherently have yet fail to notice because your too focused on rahu)

i find it interesting especially when your saturn or rahu/ketu in your D60 is similar or even the same in your D1. for example, i have punarvasu saturn the 10th AK in my D1 but i also have saturn debilitated in the 10th in the D60 (in ashwini), which ashwini is my lagnesh in the D1💀. that placement shows that i might’ve been too impulsive, lacked structure, or was selfish in my past life regarding 10th house themes (career, public perception, authority). so now in this life i’m moving through life with the same energy that ashwini possesses but now there’s much more pressure on me to follow the saturn path (which i have it in gemini so being structured with the mind, thinking things through, etc) to remain humble and to serve those. to add, my saturn is in a jupiter nak in the D1 when in the D60 my saturn in ashwini tightly conjuncts jupiter too ! (which jupiter softens it a bit and provides a redeeming quality so all the intense efforts required to please saturn leads to great abundance).

Kenneka Jenkins and Brianna Johnson (Dreamdoll Bri) both are rohini suns. Both had tragic endings, which people speculate their friends to have been the cause of their passing. Recently, Nolan Wells, who has hasta sun and rohini saturn as his atmakaraka conjunct his exalted taurus moon (possibly in rohini too but his birth time is unavailable) passed away. People are speculating that his friends had something to do with his passing. Tamla Horsford, who friends are also speculated to have been the cause of her death has her moon possibly in Shravana.

Usually more loyal to principles/their moral system than people. 

connection to aesthetics and art in some way - potential ways this can manifest:

deeply concerned w one's own appearance,

deep interest in music, film, poetry, etc,

deeply concerned with making living space aesthetically pleasing.

Cautionary Tale/Sacrificial Lamb 

This nakshatra is connected to sacrifice. Thus, people with a prominent Krittika placement may feel in some way they are forced into a sacrficial lamb role or become a cautionary tale.

Realistic example: Being the sibling to take care of your parents in old age thus sacrificing your own total freedoms.

EX.2: Being the "failed" one at something. People like parents using your failures to warn others about what mistakes to NOT make.

There are many real and minor ways one can see this in their life. 

But on a darker note - unlikely to be your own manifestation - you can see this in beloved public figures who die tragically.

A death that serves the masses and gives the Krittika person an image of a kind and innocent soul lost. 

This is the extreme manifestation of Krittika’s connection to Burning for Purity.

If you believe in Vedic’s notion that everything is fated, a prominent Krittika placement can indicate one’s life purpose is destined to serve a greater purpose through their suffering.

Her death resulted in her essentially being burned to purity. 

I do not personally believe she “had” to die. I am only trying to point out how this aligns with Krittika especially the burning to purity association.

River Phoenix - Moon Krittika.

Lived outwardly embodying the positive traits of Krittika:

Strong devotion to his Principles - vegetarian, strong opposed to animal cruelty, taking on roles like playing a gay hooker even if it was extremely taboo at the time.

Devotion to Family & Leadership as his siblings credit him with being a “guiding light” within their family. And financially providing for them.

And ofc being a musician and actor connected to the art/beauty aspect.

His Death:

Fatal overdose at 23. 

His death had a greater impact as he was used as a cautionary tale. It affected peers and provided a wake up call to the dangers of substances and fragility of life for other people in the scene.

His death resulted in him essentially being burned to purity. Because now his legacy has made him a cultural myth & icon. He’s remembered as a pure artist, sensitive soul, etc.

Princess Diana - Venus Krittika.

Lived outwardly embodying the positive traits of Krittika:

Breaking Rigid Systems - She “cut” through previously established boundaries of authority and the people. Thus she is remembered as the “People’s Princess”

Devotion to her children and leadership as she had a key role in the royal family.

Her Death:

Driver accidentally crashed the car killing them both while being pursued by paparazzi.

Her death made a greater impact as this brought awareness to the inner stresses of the royal family. The harm of paparazzi and fame on people. And has affected her son’s own lives and the paths they took.

Her legacy is innocence lost, remembered for her compassion and empathy.

Her death resulted in her essentially being burned to purity for this legacy.

However, death is not the only manifestation of people to burning for purity. For example like Princess Diana...

Megan Fox has Venus Krittika

She has said of her experience with fame/being perceived is when she's in the spotlight, she feels she's being metaphorically burned at the stake. Despite her not really doing anything "wrong" - no immoral scandals, no immoral or controversial statements. Yet, people are quick to hate/attack her when she is her authentic self.

But, when she had disappeared from the public eye, gradually her experience was that people began to remember her fondly. Thus, she suspects after her death, she'll be given a better legacy like Marilyn Monroe.

This is something people with prominent Krittika may relate too. People generally view you better when they can project onto you. Once you express yourself people tend to turn on you.

Some other placements may have the opposite experience of bad first impressions but people like you when they know more about you.

But for Krittika even if you're not doing or saying anything wrong, the more you express your authentic self, the more favour you lose amongst the majority.

And ofc this isn’t to say Krittika people are all going to be burned and become “purified” by perception.

Discussions about :- Physical features of native through lagna, 4th lord in 1st house

Physical Appearance through lagna

A thing I have noticed often when people are trying to predict native's physical appearance using ascendent nakshatra is the lack of consideration of any planet that might be sitting in the first house.

Purely predicting native's physical appearance based on their ascendent nakshatra alone can result in incomplete or inaccurate predictions.

Case Study

For example :- I am pushya ascendent, now if someone were to predict my physical features from pushya alone, they'd come up with results such as :- full/prominent breasts, voluptuous body, youthful features, round face, lustrous features, someone who puts fat on easily which can also show up as love handles etc.

However, as I said before, if we are ignoring the planet sitting in the lagna (the house of self and physical body) then the predictions will be incomplete, cause even though I am pushya asc, I also have saturn sitting in my first house in ashlesha nakshatra

Now, if someone were to take my saturn placements alone, they'd come up with results such as :- lean bony structure of the body, almost tensed in the way body is carried, rigid lines, mature appearance compared to age (saturn's influence); beady small eyes, square face, intense stare, thin lips, pale complexion (ashelsha's influence) etc

Are these results accurate? Not really; as I said before, though physical appearances can be hard to pinpoint, and other prominent places might influence alot too; however, when we talk specifically about using the asc (lagna) to predict physical appearance, we should take the planet in lagna into consideration too

How this plays out for me is :- I look alot younger than my age and often get mistaken for a kid which I am not (pushya influence), I have big almond eyes (pushya influence), which are deep-set (ashlesha influence), I lean bony body structure (saturn's influence), I do not have full/prominent breasts or hips (saturn's influence overshadows pushya's potential manifestation), I have baby face with high cheekbones (pushya's influence mixed with ashlesha's influence), however I do not have feline eyes, infact my eyes are very subtly downturned and almost doe-shaped (pushya's influence takes over potential ashlesha manifestation), despite having bony structure in all of my body (saturnian trait) I still have visible love handles (pushya influence)

4th lord in 1st house

If 4th lord is sitting in the first house (lagna), the native's karmic debt is about working on their emotions and comfort, i.e. the native has to work on their happiness, figure out their emotional needs and strive for emotional fulfillment; all about self care, self regulation and comfort

The native will most likely always get support from somewhere anyhow when they are in dire needs

The native will most likely have alot of "feminine" traits such as high emotional intelligence, healing aura, everyone's unpaid therapist, very nurturing personality etc

These natives are deeply creative and born artists

They can work in areas related to interior design, fine arts, healing etc

These natives must correct their sleep schedule and stay hydrated (tho, everyone should do that but these natives have a karmic debt related to figuring out their happiness which won't be successful unless they correct their sleep schedule and/or water levels in their body).

The native will have alot of karmic debt with mother and/or mother's side of family; whether it will play out in favour or not depends on whether the placement is benefic or not

Ashlesha ime is the least out of the mercury nakshatra signs to want everyone to like them or care if no one agrees with them. They aren’t crashing out because no one likes them, they are crashing out because they’re not going to sit there and let you talk about them without their input 😭😭😭

Regardless if you’re wrong or right, they dgaf AT ALL; they will defend themselves cause they have dignity and that’s how they were raised.

ashleshas is a mercury nak but it is in a cancer rashi that is ruled by the moon. the moon is a very sensitive and powerful placement (even if say more powerful than the sun placement in vedic) as it rules your mind and emotions (which ultimately influence the way you act and perceive the world which motivates the way one acts). cancer also resides in the 4th house which is normally considered to be private (all moshka houses are 4th, 8th and 12th) so all cancer rashis (punarvasu, pushya, ashlesha) deal with themes that are more private anyways.

the mercury just adds to the paranoia ashlesha’s face. it’s the only shakti that talks about preservation or attacking someone (or something internally too). there’s a lot of pain ashlesha placements go through and they are EXTREMELY sensitive (moon and mercury at a play) to other people’s energies, and ashleshas also being the most vulnerable out of the cancer rashis (due to the snake association as snakes even though are vicious are extremely vulnerable due to their size and the only thing they can do to protect themselves is to bite someone) and if that means constantly keeping yourself on defense to protect yourself then so be it. but not a lot of people understand that (nor do they have to i guess “hold space” whatever) but i find it interesting that this characteristic is hated towards ashlesha women more than ashlesha men (even though i do hear ashlesha men being talked about negatively time to time but not in the same breath as ashlesha women).

the traits of being closed off and self protective is frowned upon for women, especially as the world makes it so women are constantly defenseless in order to be manipulated and at worst, harmed (i.e the fetish of women being extremely underweight as they can’t defend themselves against men). most women look at other women who act this way and think to themselves “why can’t they do xyz..” and or why can’t they be nicer? but ashlesha’s theme (nagas being apart of the underworld, snakes attacking when most vulnerable, poisonous nature for healing and harm) of being constantly vulnerable, it’s easier to be safe than sorry!

tina turner, marilyn monroe, and whitney houston are all examples of ashlesha women and the kind of stuff they deal with (extremities of it and some other nakshatras add to the equation). cancer rashi placements arent keen on being vulnerable with their traumas so they keep their motives on the low, so similar to ashlesha they may be nasty, almost extremely so, but due to the extreme vulnerability ashleshas go through it’s better to be safe than sorry!

to also add, due to the vulnerability ashlesha’s face on the extreme levels, when they are “male centered” it’s to “protect” themselves against the predatory nature of men (even though that backfires on them). it’s all about protection which is why the shakti for this star is about inflicting poison onto one’s enemy. some women (which i don’t agree with women who choose to do this) align with men in order to “play the game” to protect THEMSELVES against men’s predatory nature, as they weren’t oftentimes protected themselves. but again it backfires because men across the ocean don’t gaf about the women who go against them nor the women who align with their harmful ideologies.

that’s why for ashlesha placements, mars and jupiter naks with the placement can really help (especially jupiter as jupiter exalts in cancer, although to the best degree in pushya but ashlesha as well) as it may not fully give the courageousness like how mars would, but jupiter’s influence takes ashlesha out of that fearful mentality as the fearful mentality oftentimes comes due to the lack of “nourishment” and having to be selfish in order to get it. however jupiter is the most abundant planet out of the others (sun as well) and jupiter exalts in cancer due to the abundance of nourishment, which is what ashlesha already lacks. if the person has an ashlesha placement but a good jupiter (jupiter in its own naks, jupiter naks that are well placed, jupiter aspecting the ashlesha placement, or jupiter in the 1st) the need to self protection may not leave fully, but due to being nourished by jupiter the clinging and mastery over the need to inflict poison is more healthy expressed.
