I reached peak geek tonight engineering the AES re-enactment of War of the Worlds. It was a thrill working with 9 actors & presenters, a director waving her arms, and FOH engineers - re-creating the broadcast live. In many ways it sounded more exciting than pieces we often spend days/weeks mixing in Protools - trying to achieve the same effect.
