The digital circus is a hidden experiment by scientists on people's brains, testing how the brain reacts to different situations, especially traumatic ones. Everyone who enters the circus doesn't know in advance that there is no exit, and abstraction is death for their real body. In this story, Jax is abstracted in a digital circus, and instead of dying, he awakes under unknown circumstances and becomes a problem for the organization.
