Instead of sewing this weekend, I painted this box. In used a resistance technique with lace fabric. This sides didn't turn out how I originally intended so I just painted over them and left the interesting lacy texture underneath. The base color is white, the bottom trim is metallic people and the top and sides of the lid are metallic gold.
