And wasn’t that more confusing than what Nagi had just done? 

He frowned and looked up, laying his phone down. The look on Chigiri’s face was cute. The pout seemed to compliment his delicate features. Nagi could never say it out loud, though. “I died.” He said simply, like it explained anything, and with the tiniest bit of accusation since it was Chigiri’s fault. 

when  nagi  frowned,  chigiri  made  sure  to  cover  his  phone  even  more,  ready  to  take  a  hold  of  it  if  nagi  would  decide  to  leave  him  without  any  answers.  but  while  looking  into  nagi's  silver  eyes,  chigiri  got  a  sudden  question  for  himself;  why?  why  it's  so  important  for  him  to  know  the  reason?  and  what  exactly  he  wanted  to  hear?

It had been a long and rough day for Ran. He had spent most of it at the hospital until he was sent away. That was the part of this that destroyed him. Even he knew better than to fight with doctors or use his status with Bonten to get him to stay. One stupid slip up and his brother was now alone in the ICU, and Ran blamed himself.

Silently and with tears threatening his eyes he made his way back to headquarters. He wasn't surprised to see it mostly empty. He wandered the halls and peeked into open doors or in windows seeing if anyone was around. He didn't trust himself to be alone.

Eventually he noticed a familiar face sill here. It amused him how the other was using his desk to relax as if he were laying on a bed. Still he couldn't bring himself to smile. He was silent as he shut the door to the other's office, finally choking on a bi of a small sob as he approached the desk with one of the people he trusted the most.

He sat at the edge of the desk, his eyes on the floor as his tears finally started to fall. He didn't say a word, not until the other spoke. Slowly he looked up to meet the other's gaze.

"I just came from the hospital."

He sniffled, pulling out a cigarette and shoving it in his mouth before lighting it. He took a drag of it, releasing the smoke with a sigh.

still  mute,  haru  slipped  from  the  desk  and  walked  over  to  his  pride  a  joy,  his  mini  bar.  he  grabbed  a  bottle  of  a  cognac  that  costs  like  a  monthly  salary  and  poured  some  in  a  heavy,  crystal  glass.  holding  the  glass,  he  returns  to  the  desk  and  carefully  sits  next  to  ran  and  hands  him  the  drink.

"it's  gonna  be  alright,  okay?"  haru  said,  his  voice  in  a  smooth  little  rasp.  "rindou  gonna  be  fine,  hey,  it's  rin!  you  know  how  stubborn  he  is."  haru  attempted  to  joke  a  little.  in  reality,  he  desperately  tried  to  cheer  ran  up,  but  didn't  know  how  to  do  it  without  being  a  little  too  obvious  that  he  cares  about  ran  a  little  too  much.
