Will alert any UNSC troops I run into⌠You should contact the ship AIâ
The Necessityâs heavy AA guns began to fire at Banshees whilst the deck cannons began to swivel towards the Destroyer. âAll hands⌠I have just received word that well your lives are going to suck shortly⌠All personnel are to arm themselves and a full sweep of the ship is to be initialized until further notice. The ODST swore to himself âDamnit Damnit Damnit!â He snapped as he looked out the window, five longsword fighter/bombers sped past the window and straight into attacking the infected Banshees. One of them collided with a banshee and tore through it. It kept flying further away from the battle before it suddenly curved back. The other longswords riddled it with bullets before it could get close and it exploded.
âC'mon!â The trooper shouted before running off once more âI have a priority target that the flood cannot reach, Cole protocol is still in effectâ

The ODST swore loudly âAh hell! Follow me!â He then dashed off down the corridor
âGo. Iâll be right with you.â He lifted the half-dead Spartan up and carried her off with him. âMy stationâs just forward of the cryobay. I need to stop there anyway to secure the pods for emergency launch.â
The ODST nodded, running along⌠That was until he spotted an observation window âHoly shitâ He mused quietly, fear in his tone.
Outside of the observation bay a small Covenant Destroyer floated by, completely powered down from the jump⌠It seemed to be badly damaged and falling apart, but that was when its power was restored. The bright purple/blue lights of their plasma batteries lighting up filled the expanse of space. The vessel suddenly began to move towards the human ship, not a single weapon was charging though.
Down beneath the ship though, the corvette disengaged from the UNSC vessel. It began to slowly move towards the alien ship
Having secured the corpse in one of the emergency cryopods, Christian hurried to his station, near one of the airlocks. The Covies liked to launch Tick boarding craft against human ships, and so standard UNSC procedure was to ensure they didnt get far if they tried.Â
âWhat the hell?â
A lone phantom dropship flew out of the covenant hangar, it's turret pulsing brightly with each discharge as it fired back at the swarm of Banshees following it. A Nav marker appeared over the transport on all nearby UNSC and ONI personnel's HUDs. 'VIP On board'

A female spartan wearing a full suit of Recon armor, sans a helmet lay slumped against the wall. A blood trail leading down the wall to where she lay. A smoking hole pierced through her armor and into her vital organs. She was still alive, but barely so⌠She would be no use even if she survived⌠The ODST walked over quietly. And glanced at Christian âWould you prefer to end her life, stop her suffering?â
The Spartan paused.
âNo. The Branch will find use for her. They keep the surviving IIs on station for a reason. Help me get her into a cryopod and some damn biofoam into that wound. Weâll freeze her and let Hopeful handle her.â
"Are you sure? If I was hearing right this had to do with an Innie base down on the surface... And I don't think the captain would just randomly shoot a Spartan..." He trailed off and clipped his SMG to its holster.
