Tumblr is so offended by the idea of character development that they’re telling themselves that Mr Darcy only seemed like a dick because of social awkwardness instead of accepting the truth of Actual Asshole Mr Darcy who becomes a better person through character development

it’s so frustrating trying to explain to angry customers why something isn’t going exactly how they want when you throw in a language barrier on top of the anger. like I’m sorry I don’t have a better way to communicate why this is happening but that is literally outside of what I am physically able to do. I try to give as much of an explanation as I can but there’s only so much I can actually do. getting angry at me for something out of my control in the first place will not make this easier
