{Introduction/Starter}
Ā Gently, Grima smiled and nodded before taking only the card. It only took a moment to skim through everything. āWilliam, is it? I suppose youāre a new arrival.ā He offered it back to the boy, then put his hands into his pockets. āThat number, Q-5, is your apartment. Thatās what the keys are for. I can show you the way, if youād like.ā
"Ah, right. You may call me Robin. Iām a part of the city guard."
Ā William watched as the much taller individual inspected his card, beginning to involuntarily fan himself with his free hand. Only now did he notice just how unbearably parched he was- he was too focused on other things beforehand. It wasn't this hot just a day ago, right? But then again, this city seemed nothing like his home... not only did it look different, but it feltĀ different. The people, the atmosphere- everything was out of the ordinary.Ā Ā
Ā "--Yes! But, you can call me Will." He blurted out rather abruptly, snapping back into focus.Ā He forced a sheepish smile up at the other as a way to apologize for his sudden reaction, now waiting for him to lead the way.
Ā "Uhm... It's a pleasure to meet you, Robin." City guard? That certainly helped him relax a little more. Guards were most likely to be trustworthy and know their place around.. At least, that's how he knew it.Ā
