Most people don’t appreciate losing a loved one, even just a fictional character, without warning, for shock value and spectacle and fucking online engagement.

Doctor Who is a comfort show and a life companion and a thing that gets you through bad days and months and years. Don’t be a shitty little guy giggling and rubbing hands because you managed to ‘leave the kids reeling with shock’ by killing off a character who’s supposed to be a beacon of hope. That doesn’t make the show exciting. It makes the character cheap.

It has. it's been very hard and I feel like I'm going at a snails pace because of how often I need to take a break from it to focus on other things, but it really does make an enormous difference.

Something I wished I'd known at the beginning is that when your therapist asks you to "rate the distress" of the memory after you've processed it, saying that it's a zero doesn't mean that you're saying that looking at the memory is pleasant, or that what happened in the memory is okay. A distress rating of zero just means that looking at the memory doesn't make you feel that distress in your body anymore.

Even after a memory is processed, thinking about it still makes me think things like, "Oh my god, that was horrible! Things like that shouldn't happen to anyone!" But I don't panic or feel sick or have other intense trauma symptoms. Usually I just feel sad or angry, and that's normal when thinking about something awful that happened.

the next day i ended up punching someone in the face with a doughnut in my fist because she thought i was being a big fucking buzzkill who tattled to teacher about a harmless game, and, guess what, grabbed my butt. i got icing all over her hair. she complained to teacher...who let everyone know that this was why they weren’t supposed to be playing grabass in the fucking shop.

Well maybe I don’t WANT to work double as hard as abled people!! Maybe I deserve a BREAK!! Maybe I’ve been working MORE THAN double as hard for MY WHOLE LIFE and it’s led me to immense burnout & caused me to develop several MORE disabilities!! Maybe I should be ACCOMMODATED so I don’t have to KILL MY BODY AND BRAIN over trying to do what abled people can do!! Maybe I DON’T have to work double as hard!! Maybe if there’s the option to let me NOT work double as hard, I should have it, because I’m already working double as hard JUST TO SURVIVE!!

This is why POTS patients have no energy and why they faint and wobble when walking.
