I like melos!♪

What's this? A spontaneous post? Surely not! (It is.)

A long time ago, probably a year or so by now, I promised my best friend's brother I'd see if I could find him a tee with his favorite pokemon on it. While I did find a couple of shirts with Meloetta on them, I didn't think they look good, and they didn't ship to my country anyways. So, the thought of the tee has just kinda lingered in the back of my mind since then.

I was invited to his 37th birthday on short notice earlier this week. Went down to the clothing store the same day, got a white tee, and drew Meloetta on it. I think he was pleased with it.

I get so nervous when drawing things for other people. I wanna blame that I was drawing on textile for the wobbly lines, but it was mostly my shaky hands and sweaty fingers. Though, of course, it didn't help that my attention span isn't great, and I kept forgetting to take into account that the cloth would wrinkle if I drew like it was on ordinary paper. One would think I shouldn't make that same mistake as many times as I did.

And I'm hoping the katakana looks all right. I do dabble in Japanese a little bit, but only really to get to watch anime without subtitles, or play region specific video games (which as of now is still far beyond my skill level). Point is, I haven't really cared about the writing and all that.

Also drew one on normal paper just in case the shirt would turn grey in the wash, which it didn't.
