Very rational. Is there anyone else who would want this pet? Why did you bring it home in the first place? Would probably let you keep it so long as you take full responsibility over it.

73. WHY ARE WE YELLING?! — N

Halloween.

To some, it’s a favorite holiday.

To others, it’s Satan’s worship day.

To Cha Hakyeon, it meant taking his overgrown members trick-or-treating.

Lovely.

“Ooh, I’ll trade your snickers for my mounds!” Ken chirped, reaching for Leo’s already open bag on the counter.

The group had just gotten back from a Halloween party thrown by their company and trick-or-treating meant stealing from the candy bowls located around the building and trading them when back at home.

It’s a game they played. (Well, most of them) You find as many pieces of candy you can, and stuff your bag and act like you didn’t do anything around the older officials at the party.

Since he wasn’t an active participant, Leo was currently losing his whole bag that Hongbin has used for him.

Hakyeon was watching as his members threw sweets at one another, laughing and talking about the night.

“Hey, where’s Taekwoon?” Hakyeon asked, looking for Leo.

“Heeeesh n es bud.” Hyuk chomped around a nutty butter.

“What?” The leader frowned in disgust as the maknae tried to say it again with even more candy in his mouth.

“—bedroom, N.” Ken offered, slapping a hand on the youngest’s mouth.

Making sure the quietest (and possibly, deadliest) member was alright, Hakyeon talked about small things, keeping conversation light to make sure everything was alright.

Then the screaming started.

Leo rolled his eyes and curled up under a blanket as N charged out of the room.

“I leave for TWO SECONDS—what the fuck.” He stopped, staring in bewilderment at the scene before him.

He watched as his members were doing what seemed like a…head stand competition…on the wall.

“YOU GUYS, GET DOWN!” He ran at them, yanking their feet and causing them all to fall, rubbing their sore heads.

“WHY ARE WE YELLING?!” Hyuk screamed back, groaning at his newfound bruises.

“BECAUSE YOU ARE ALL IDIOTS, MY GOD. GO TO SLEEP!”

Shownu

Not even worried. He’s taken care of a group of children (his members) for years. Bring on the kids! Bring on the stress! Get the coffee!

Wonho

Nervous as hell. The moment you leave him and your kids by themselves, he’s already cringing waiting for the screaming/crying for you to start.

Kihyun

Has the whole day planned down to a T. Even nap schedules and when the kids are supposed to drop from exhaustion. Organized soccer Dad who has everything under control so he can do his own stuff at home.

Hyungwon

Terrified helicopter mom complete with pillow forts and any sort of armor he can find for his kids. No one is walking around the house without a helmet and some makeshift form of pads on elbows, knees...anything that can get hurt.

Minhyuk

Loves his kids to bits! Only thing is, they are both no match for each other’s energies. Who will cave first and pass out? Who will scream for snacks? WHY ARE THERE SO MANY QUESTIONS?!

Jooheon

Excited Dad to the rescue. You need to go get groceries? Go! He’s got it! He absolutely adores his kids and pretty much worships the ground they walk on so he’s all ready for a Disney marathon complete with tea parties.

Scared as hell of his kids. No, really. Kids are great and all, but it’s another little HIM around. That means mischievous, stubborn assholes who can barely walk running rampant around your house. Probably starts a game of hide and seek and ends up hiding from your kids all afternoon.

Changkyun. My man. My love. My life. This little shit is actually kinky, I found *glares at other admins*. Will probably laugh and nod on at some of he stuff written and burst out giggling if something is COMPLETELY off. Probably sitting next to Wonho to confirm or deny (having a gal’s night) the plots and kinks.

Taehyung: I’m seeing more of a lion-esque spirit animal. Not like the playful, running around cub, but more like the elegant and fierce Simba (lion king YAS).

Hoseok: Another part of the cat family, I’m seeing a puma (leopard? Mountain cat?) you know, those things that constitute as a leopard but aren’t because of their habitat? (Is this a thing or am I just weird? In Texas we call them mountain cats/mountain lions instead of pumas or leopards and…never mind I can’t get into this I’ll be writing pages for hours) the point is, he’s wise and serious and very hardworking despite what others think of him as being a sunshine member.

Jin: Am I allowed to say goldfish? No? Hamster? No! House pet of any sort?!? I really want to say anything sheltered and not in any sort of wildlife ecosystem because though he’s very compassionate, it can probably get him into a lot of predicaments. Can he be his own spirit animal? Fudge, this is hard. Any house pet, I guess (preferably ones without claws)

Probably won’t be bothered at all. He’s used to his members having weird laughs so he’d just be like, yup, you’re laughing, no biggie.

Be prepared for lots of teasing and mock “ew” sounds. Won’t let you live it down, but will secretly like it since it’s a unique trait.

Adds onto the dying whale noises you’re making. Either from the joke made, or your laugh, or a mixture of the two. Anything is funny to him.

Similar to Yoongi, what the actual heck was that? Was it a monster? Someone breaking in? Oh, just you.

Will frown and wait until you tell him what’s going on. When you tell him you don’t really know, he’ll shrug and try to come up with doing something to get your mind off of it.

“Okay, so today wasn’t so great. Can we watch a movie or do some Chinese takeout tonight?”

Jimin

He’s going to be just as upset. Bad days happen and he gets that, so he’ll try and offer a shoulder for you to cry own while empowering you with positive affirmations.

“I’m sorry you’re so upset but I’m so proud you got through it! You’re doing absolutely amazing.”

Depending on the mood of the situation, he’d be like…let’s go. Bedroom, NOW. If it was a fight, or something negative, he’d be annoyed. Like, make you do what? But yeah, the cliché “make me” response would be “uhh okay, you asked.”

“So I have to do what?” Changkyun sits on the side of the bed and nervously chews his fingernails as you finish getting ready.

“Be yourself,” You reply.

“Of course,” he scoffs, “but like, what exactly do I have to do to win your parents over?”

You’re unfazed by the fact that Changkyun is going to meet your parents for the first time. He’s the picture of perfection. He’s sociable, well-mannered, a bit quirky, and honest. What’s not to love?

You continue zipping up your most casual sundress, “Just be nice, eat my mother’s food, and tell my dad you like his new watch…and oh…” you see Changkyun in the reflection of your mirror, “Take off that suit, we’re going to lunch, not a ball.”

“Okay but like,” Changkyun undos his tie and starts again, “what kind of food are we eating again?”

You put a finger on your chin, happily remembering the food from your childhood, “Well knowing my mom, there will probably be a lot meat. Since it’s summer she’ll probably have spare ribs, hot dogs…”

Changkyun licks his lips at the thought, “Mmm, meat. I’m starting to like your mom already.”

“Yeah, it’s not just meat either. Corn on the cob, watermelon, biscuits and gravy…”

Changkyun is perplexed, “Biscuits and gravy?”

You nod, “Yeah, biscuits and gravy. Like normal biscuits but with that white gravy looking thing on top. See?”

You pull up an image from the last holiday meal you had with your parents. You show him your screen and Changkyun responds with a look of horror, “I have to eat that?”

You’re equally confused and look back at the picture on your phone “What’s wrong?”

Changkyun googles biscuits and gravy on his own phone for better pictures. He scrolls through the search engine, completely disgusted, “Babe, I love you. But what in the world is that?”

You’re not offended by Changkyun’s response. Most people react like this when they see the food from where you’re from, “It is what it is, just biscuits and white gravy.”

“The biscuits are okay, but why does the gravy look like that?” he continues, “But if I had to choose between eating T H A T and dirt, I’d choose the dirt.”

Namjoon

Will legit stand there and nod his head, acting like he’s soooo into it. You put your all into this so he’s going to try and appreciate it. He’d hope you were trying to be funny instead of completely serious so don’t be offended if he laughs.

Yoongi

Deadpan ass look. Like, what the actual heck is going on and what date did he forget? He’d be worried he did something wrong and you’re trying to torture him (heh) and he’d try to come up with some explanation as to why you’re doing this. If he knew it was just for him and because you love him, he’d be impressed you thought that much of him but woah.

Hoseok

fuck. yes. He’d be so into it, hyping you up and beat boxing on the side. (Probably even try to rap with you even though you made it up). Screaming, cheering, and laughing all around. He wouldn’t care if it was horrible, he’d be like THASS MAH GURLLLL!!!
