happiness comes in many forms, one of them: simple big-small things that put together create a feeling just like notes in a sequence create a song because sometimes ‘home’ is not someplace but rather someone, rather some people. five hi-hat drumbeat hearts and a few half-moon smiles can go a long way and look how far we’ve come; the road was tough and the moon rose and the moon fell and still in the end dawn breaks because for every night there will be a new day. we’ve had 1000 sunrises and you know what the best thing about them all is? they keep on coming, the sun is stuck on repeat, the world turns on its axis and we greet another day, another story, another song. today i’m half proud half happy but as a whole? grateful. thankful for all the big-small moments and the way you taught me you don’t need to be Together to feel Not Alone because there’s touch in a song just like there’s a drive behind every heartbeat and mine? it beats in time with yours. thank you. always. all ways. and for infinitely more days. ✨
