The girl smiled, tilting her head to the side. She didnât necessarily care if he was making excuses or not, but his actions and words made her laugh in a robotic manner.
â§ď˝Ľďž:* âMy name is Giffany. It is very nice to meet you, Ventus...Ven. You should be more careful of weather made obstructions. You never know what you could run into. What if...I had not been the one you hit?â *:シďžâ§
He nodded. At least she wasn't mad at him for running into her, it was almost expected that she would, and it was his fault! â Then I would have run into someone else and hurt someone else-- or even just fell straight on my face, er, I'm glad you're okay Giffany. â he said, dipping his head a little. She had a very unusual name, not that he had any room to speak. Ventus wasn't a name you'd hear on a regular basis, after all.Â
â It's kind of pointless dwelling on the 'what ifs' of life, isn't it? â Ventus smiled. â All that matters is that I didn't hurt you too badly, right? In any case, I was just in a hurry, I'm no usually so clumsy! Can I make it up to you? â
"Whatâs with all the ladybugs?" He knew he should of stayed indoors.
â They're making people act really weird. All lovey and stuff. Don't let one of them bite you, Terra! â He couldn't help but comment.
âYouâre really nice.â Twilight let slip a thought rather than keeping it in, but she didnât react to it. At least it wasnât anything stupid or embarrassing. Sheâd done quite enough of that already. The thought of being able to say she was a master of walking like a human did make her laugh a bit though.
âIâve only been here around a week as well! I thinkâŚto be honest this whole thing sort of skews time. Then again, I guess that is the usual side effect of crossing dimensions and time.â She smiled then waved a hand in the air, motioning to nothing really. Then bent her wrist and put it to her chin. âIâd compliment them on their intelligence, but I canât say I particularly enjoy their methodsâŚâ
The princess looked up at Ven then, wondering if she should even continue talking. It wasnât like she found someone to talk about the scientific meanings behind everything here on a daily basis. Her hands dropped to her sides then, clutching onto one another behind her back. âWell, as someone who can appreciate science, as far as social experiments go, there are several ways they could have gone about it in a better way. They are smart, butâŚI mean, my mentor and the greatest wizard to ever live actually came up with a way to travel across dimensions too. Though I think the differences abound in that they didnât use it for evil, unlike these âscientistsâ. If they were good scientists they would be figuring out a way to help people, wouldnât they? I would.â
âWell, at any rate, where Iâm from it was done with magic. But Iâm not sure how they did it here.â
Ventus nodded. â It is unethical, wouldn't you think? But the people I've spoken to have told me so far that they aren't reporting any of their findings... which is a little off putting or me. â he said, crossing his arms and shaking his head. Through all of what he said, he felt rather calm. The topic of human experimentation wasn't not normal to him, no not anymore.
â I'm sure they're doing it because of some sort of magic as well. I don't think it would be scientifically possible to transport even dead people to a place where they can live, right? â With all the research and magic from his own universe, although little he did know, Ventus knew it was improbable to bring the dead back. If it was, he was sure there was going to be some serious repercussions.Â
â I just hope what ever the scientists here are doing, they know what they're doing. I don't want anything bad to happen. â

Itâs not unexpected, the twists and turns her new environment provides, but Ayano finds herself taken aback by the absolute vastness of it all. Itâs been quite some time since sheâd had so much freedom to move â so long, in fact, that she finds it all a little too daunting.
Thereâs every manner of building and alleyway tucked into this first Sector: shops, apartments, derelict properties hidden side-streets blindspots culdesacs and nothing. Itâs dizzying, how much there is to see in this place, and against all odds she finds herself craving the cramped space doled out for her by a more malevolent force.
Itâs only in a zig-zagging dead end that she finds any solace, a run-down looking shop the end of the line. Itâs covered in clocks from head-to-toe, even on the outside â some are big, some are small, but all of their ticks are in sync. Itâs a calming melody she didnât even know she yearned for.
She finds the company of other not too far off, eyes widening when she realises sheâs not alone. So there are people who crave this, too â people who crave it, or people who are just lost.
Itâs kind of curious.
'It's a little funny, isn't it?'
'How they can all tick together like that.â

The amount of time he'd spent in this city was lost on him, how many days had it been since he woke up in the blinding white room? It was definitely a change from the soothing darkness he'd become accustomed to, having no choice but to. He did not mind change, in fact the change was different from his old life, always the same schedule had gotten quite boring. Ventus yearned for adventure, the longing to explore tugging at his heart like a fish caught on a fisherman's line.Â
Even after just a mere month of being stuck in the confines of the city, the blond still had yet to see everything it had to offer. So when he found himself at the end of an alley, staring at an old building that seemed like it was on its last legs, he found himself in awe at all the clocks. Ventus listened to the clocks ticking, something he could only hear due to the silence surrounding them.Â
Ventus jumped out of his reverie at hearing her voice, blinking at her words. Poetic and confusing, something he was used to. â I think it's a nice sound. They're all in perfect harmony, it's beautiful. â his attention was turned back to the clocks, blue eyes mesmerized by the quantity of them.

Expanding his mental map of the city was a difficult task considering the fact that it was as though he was writing in the sand, only good in the short term before a wave inevitably washed it away and placed him back at square one.
However, if the tap at his shoulder and the following question were any indication, he wasnât alone in struggling to find his way around the Hive.
"Where is that" He had heard of a sector 4 and logic dictated that a sector for each of the numbers leading up to 4 probably were present in the city, but it had never occurred to him that there might be more.
Ventus inwardly groaned. Great, now he was stuck in an unknown sector and his chosen tour guide seemed to have no idea where he himself was. â You... you know... big foresty area... quiet-- similar to a real forest? â he just wanted to get home, but now it seemed like he was lost and on top of that he just had to have picked another person who was lost.Â
The boy sighed, waving his hand in the air dismissively. â You know what? Never mind. If you don't know where it is... â Ventus wasn't going to leave, no, this person sounded quite lost himself and Ventus didn't want to just leave someone like this unattended to. â What's your name? â he asked softly
                              â§ď˝Ľďž:* âOw.â *:シďžâ§
Before she could realise what was happening, she had hit the ground. With a new, real, body she could feel the pain of a human. What a strange, unpleasant feeling that was. Did this person want to hurt her? No, he apologised. What a nice boy. As she was helped up to her feet, she dusted herself off then smiled at the other.
â§ď˝Ľďž:* âHa Ha. That is okay. Accidents happen, don't they? Would you like to tell me how you fell? Are you very accident prone? Ha Ha.â *:シďžâ§
â What? No-- I was just in a hurry and I didn't notice the patch of ice... â he trailed off, realizing it probably sounded like he was just making excuses. Ventus sighed softly, brushing his hair back even as it just bounced back into place. â I'm really sorry for running into you like that, though. I'm Ventus, but you can call me Ven. What's your name? â

He hadn't seen the familiar face since his first day in the city, and it was nice to see him still doing well. Ventus strode over to Aichi, a grin on his face as he lifted a hand to wave at his friend. â Hey... hey Aichi! It's been a while, how have you been? â Ventus still had yet to thank Aichi for talking to him on his first day in the city when he could have very well just walked away.

How terrible of him! He was in such a hurry he had accidentally slipped on a patch of ice on the pavement, accidentally sliding into someone. While they both tumbled over, Ventus quickly regained composure and began to apologize profusely. â Oh my gosh-- I am so sorry about that! Here let me help you up! â Ventus bent down and took hold of her hand, pulling her back to her feet. â Again... super sorry about that. â

Getting lost in district Alpha was probably not on his list of things to do that day, and while he wasn't afraid to admit he was lost, Ventus had no idea who he could ask to help him get back to sector oo6. With an exasperated sigh, the blond tapped a stranger on the shoulder and with a dejected sounding voice he asked, â Excuse me... I'm lost. Could you help me get back to sector 6? â

What an odd looking keychain. Ventus couldn't help himself but speaking out about it, â That's interesting! What is it? â

Happy PALentine's Day
Though not particularly empathetic, Roxas picked up on signs that Ventus was holding something back easily enough. He had never bothered to pay attention before, mostly because he had other things on his mindâbut Ventus was his friend, and he refused to let his friends struggle alone ever again.Â
Old habits, huh? He ponders why Ventus would be accustomed to that. The Organization had them waking at early hours, but Roxas discarded much of what tied him to those times. Plus, sleeping in was more fun.
"You should try sleeping âtil noon one day. Itâs what most guys our age do." he then wonders why that even matters, but it makes him feel better. Being normal was all he really wanted. Securing his own helmet, he gets onto the bike before patting the seating behind him. It starts with a roar before the volume evens out to something more dull and pleasant to the ear. "Weâll eat later, then. Plenty of places on the way."
â Oh believe me, If I could sleep in until noon, I totally would! â Ventus said in response, however when the bike let out the noise, Ventus couldn't help himself from jumping slightly. It was a suddenly loud noise, something Ventus' rapidly beating heart did not take light to.Â
Ventus eye'd the bike nervously, unsure of what to do. The only form of transportation he'd ridden before was his keyblade glider, and that thing was quite large. Could the two of them really fit onto that bike? The blond clutched the helmet tightly and frowned. â Is it safe? â he asked blatantly, sounding rather lame and realizing this after he had said the words made him flinch slightly.Â
â  I-I mean, are you sure we can both fit? â the blond coughed, clearing his throat to disguise the nervous squeak in his voice.

Happy PALentine's Day
Roxas follows him, arms perched lazily behind his head. His cargo pants held enough pockets to carry anything he might needâa tube of MânMâs, his cash, Aquaâs Wayfinder and his phone amongst other things.Â
The comment causes him to perk out of his daze, and the boy tilts his head. Had he given Ventus reason to think he would forget? Did he seem irresponsible? Maybe Ventus thought he didnât care about keeping his word? It could be any number of things, but Roxas quiets thoseâafter all, he had no way of knowing for sure. No need to get mad about it. "Right, like Iâd forget." he snorts, rolling his eyes, "I donât forget much if I can help it." and then thereâs a small smile as he drops the topic altogetherâno need to explain why he didnât like forgetting things. "Iâm surprised youâre up. You a morning person, or something?" he walks on, checking subtly to make sure Ventus was keeping up. He didnât like calling it âbabysittingâ because wow that made things more annoying, but he did want to make sure things went well. They reach the end of the curb, where Roxasâ bike stands chained to a light pole. Taking a knee he unlocks it, handing Ventus a helmet in the process.
"Weâre going to the animal shelter first. Did you get to eat before I showed up?"
The other only smiled, glad that he hadn't taken offense to his small joke. Or perhaps it was just too early in the day for Roxas to even react normally. Ventus shrugged it off as that, not gonna gloss over the topic was probably for best after all. They were both in a good mood and he didn't want to ruin that.
Ventus nodded, watching the sky carefully. â I dunno if you can call me a morning person. It's just a habit of mine to wake up super early. I've been up for a couple of hours now, so. â he responded. â Old habits die hard, right? â the blond laughed a little, trying to keep a conversation light and airy was his forte, but he could at least try right?Â
He watched Roxas curiously, taking the helmet from his hands with care. With a small breath of air, Ventus shook his head.  â No I'm not really all that hungry anyway. â he said, shrugging it off with a smile.
