Or "Kizer" if the box is to be believed. While I've had fun with Toyr!se so far, this is their first combining release, so I was curious how it would pan out, and as you can maybe tell, it turned out pretty well. I have to give a lot of credit to ExKaiser, as well, for having several hidden or hard to notice joints that help everything come together.
The Good: The Dragon Jet is a solid piece, and its transformation into Dragon Kaiser fun and not as hard as ExKaiser, with most of the complex movements being in the torso. It's also very posable, only lacking a waist joint and having everything else you'd want. It's also capable of storing all of its spare parts in the cockpit.
Great ExKaiser does lose the waist joint, but retains everything else ExKaiser has. Since Dragon Kaiser has to split into 5 parts, detaching the torso from the rest of the body is a little strange, but everything comes together very smoothly, and looks pretty good.
The Bad: The base mode kinda sucks. Doesn't hold together well, and there's a large amount of engineering built in to accommodate it, including several parts coming off. The two base modes don't even combine, you just sit them next to each other.
The combined skirt and mane piece falls off pretty easily. Dragon Kaiser has a few hollow parts, but the only ones that bother me are the arm cannons since they are very big and predominant pieces.
Overall, very happy with it. I'm hoping they do some more Brave Series robots in this style, especially any with 3 or more robots coming together... Wait... None of the Brave's have proper 3-robot combinations. Well Da-Garn it.
