I have written many papers in high school and college, but I never stopped to evaluate my own writing process; it was almost like muscle memory each time I had to write an essay. These assignments allowed me to look more deeply into the process and the steps I take each time I write. I was able to consider what works well for me and make changes to steps that weren't as beneficial.

I like how, within these assignments, we had to stop and reflect on how we will use these concepts in our future careers. As a future teacher, writing professionally and being aware of my audience are very important, as I will often be communicating with parents, other teachers, and administration. I was also able to learn more about web writing and how complex it really is. At the beginning of this course, I did not know what to expect, but the things I have learned have opened my eyes to the writing I see on social media, which I did not use to consider when scrolling.

I will reread my responses and add more detail and specific examples to explain why I answered the way I did. When doing so, I will make sure my writing is easy for the reader to understand, avoiding wordiness in my answers.

This is my audience analysis. I was using evidence from the likes and comments the posts received.Was I clear with my information without making assumptions?

In my context analysis section, I tried to explain how Instagram works and the features it offers. Is this section too vague? Do I need to add more explanation as to how the features work and why a creator would use each one?

Is my method section specific enough? If you were reading my paper with no prior knowledge of the topic, would you understand the steps I took to gather my data?

These are skills I will be able to use when writing papers for other college courses, or in the future when editing lesson plans or documents as a teacher. Revision will also help keep my writing professional while keeping my audience in mind. It also allows me to ensure my thoughts are well-written and clear to the reader, which I will use when writing parent emails, for example.

I used various elements, such as images and graphs, throughout my paper to draw the reader's eye. It also shows them the original posts where my data came from and how I am drawing the conclusions I am with this information, which supports my argument.
