Or it's about botw Zelda and her religious trauma. Which IS a valid thing to create art about, but a lot of them tend to gut out Hylia's actual character to make her a scapegoat. Hylia literally could not reply to Zelda's prayers, because those statues aren't her, as @/a-knife-in-my-sandwich pointed out. They're some other group of spirits, because Hylia is extremely likely dead.

But that isn't exactly widely known, I didn't notice it until it was pointed out. And many of these issues stem from people believing Hylia to be an omnipotent and all-knowing Christian type of god, putting the blame on her for not stopping the actions of the antagonists. When in reality she's based on the Japanese gods, which are very powerful, but not usually all-knowing, and Hylia's no longer a god at all in the first place.

I've seen people paint her in a way similar to Cia, being obsessive about Link, or manipulating things from the background in a harsh way that'll shape Link into the hero. Both of which do come from canon in a way, but it exaggerates it heavily.

A big piece of evidence is the Horned statue that has been relocated since Botw to a selaed underground tunnel that no one could reach until after the upheaval. The Statue themselves outright blames Hylia for it and this is backed up by a voiced Memory where Zelda remembers meeting the statue and it tried to offer her a deal until it was hit by a bolt of lighting and then crashed into the water.

BotW also had one of Zelda journal entries talking about her seeing a glowing woman in white in her dreams that she belives might have been Hylia trying to talk to her about something and seemingly quite worried for her but Zelda couldn't understand what was being said.

They are called Zora Warriors in PH and Geozard in ST

The main desgin theme seems to be what if instead of using stone tablets and trading cards to play with yhe monsters instead they used Senet

If you look at the 2 human playes desgins you can see what looks like alternative Duel disks desgins mixed with a Senet board.

By the way the monster/players names are Nefertari a powerful Egyptian Queen and Amenhotep an Pharaoh

Some of the spell cards even show off what lokks like monster summoning

It looks to be a very cool deck all together

Its also a ritual deck and here are ethe boss monsters

i love how green is the motif for this archetype and its implemented so well too!! it blends the themes ancient egyptian idea of death and the living from ancient Egypt (since Osiris is potrayed as havening green skin) with the more modern idea of the digital-scape, like Nefertari and Amenhotep are being revived through the digital world

also Nefertari's design reminds me of that one Genshin Impact character, forgot the name but the desgin elements are quite similar

and i love how all the boss monsters have green, white and gold to them!! they look really cool!

Senatnacht Sphinx seems like its based on the sphinx, altho this guy seems to have a jackal head, which reminds me more of Anubis than anyone else. but Sphinx is in the name so im not sure what to make of that

Tausenat Ajat might be based on Wadjet, a cobra diety of predynastic Egypt and Goddess of the Lower Nile, and she later became the patron of all Egypt after unification with her sister Nekhbet

By the way the mosntsr shown in the feild spell is a old school normal fusion monster whitch fits in with this being an alternative version of Duel monsters.

here's mickey, goofy, donald, and chip & dale. yeah they turned mickey & friends into anime boys. they're an idol unit or something. they're technically not anime boy versions of the source characters, they have different names. mickey's guy is "Neo Michel". not michael, michel, like he's french. chip & dale are "Ruska Moncrief" and "Ranka Monk", they have different last names, they're not brothers anymore so that they can be yaoibait instead, anyways this post isn't actually about these guys I'm just setting the stage for the actual humanizations I wanted to show you

Well it's obvious from the designs who mike and sully are. but you will also notice. the blonde one on the left. with glasses. monsters inc is kind of famously about just the two guys so they didn't really have a lot of other non-villain characters to take anime boys inspiration from, I guess, so, well,
