DRAMAtical Murder (2012) - Nitro+CHiRAL

So, to get right to the point, the headcanon is that Nain (Aoba’s adoptive father) could be Trip’s big brother.

Okay so where is it coming from ? First, The hair

They have a similar hair color, as well as a similar haircut (with longer, centered bangs, and shorter spiked hair at the back).

They also have a similar mouth, with a more marked bottom lip.

That’s not a lot, but I already liked the idea. The thing that makes it possible though is this :

Nain was a test subject. Now think about it : Nain is Trip’s big brother, and both have been taken into the facility to undergo tests. Nain, partially brainwashed, managed to escape. His eye color changed to a bright pink from a really early attempt of the anti-scrap technology that will later alter Virus’ and Trip’s eyes to a bright blue color. He mostly forgot about his little brother, but his big brother instinct is still here and this is why when meeting that mute little boy (Aoba didn’t speak much as a child), he’s kind of reminded of Trip and decide to adopt him. Trip on his side has his memories erased and totally forgets about Nain, about his real name or anything from his past. He will still choose the name “Trip”, when Nain’s reason to live is traveling. 

Now I know this headcanon can seem weird (but it’s compatible with mine that Trip is a foreigner since Nain isn’t from Midorijima) but I still love it and I love that there’s not really evidence against it, considering that we have really little informations on Nain, and barely any about Trip, and none for his past before the institution.

So yeah, I wanted to share it because it was still in the back of my mind.
