Summary: Crowley and Aziraphale have finally entered into a romantic relationship, only to discover that was the easy part. Figuring out feelings and sex takes rather more work: Crowley struggles to say things out loud, while Aziraphale worries that increasingly kinky sex might somehow jeopardise their romance. What follows is a series of meals, arguments, reconciliations, confessions, and sexual misadventures as they spend their first few months together stumbling, fumbling, and ultimately finding their way to a happily ever after.

They’ve managed to dive right into an 80k non-chronological beast of a fic and hardly even blink at the absurdity, not to mention wading through some very verbose sex scenes (as usual). Friday 26th June

Things are finally, properly good again. 

This morning, Crowley had snuck out while Aziraphale was in the bath and returned with two coffees in a cardboard tray. He’d gone to the effort of coming back upstairs, barging into the bathroom without knocking, to find Aziraphale shaving over the sink wearing only a towel. He’d run his eyes over him with unguarded appreciation as he crossed the room, pressed a kiss that had an unnecessary amount of tongue against the cheek that had already been wiped clean, and snuck a hand into the opening of Aziraphale’s towel to cop a feel of his naked hip. 

“Morning, angel. Coffee delivery.”

The towel ends up on the floor and Crowley leaves Aziraphale’s coffee on the sink before backing out of the room, his eyes decidedly lower than Aziraphale’s shocked-but-blushing expression. 

So: things are certainly good again.
